This ini can work

Thanks that cleared some of it up but still steamy, is there a way to make it clear like before?

I found how to generate the bytecode hashes, not that it seems to be doing any good this time around since it appears nearly every shader was updated that likely used a diffuse texture (so nearly everything but shadow shaders).

Below are the new hashes for the 20200610 updated DMM version, I've only listed the new DMM hash here, but the updated d3dx.ini I would publish would continue to support both DMM and Steam like it has so far.

ShaderOverrideClothesPS1=f016b56d30ba5603
ShaderOverrideClothesPS2=37d3e66b5d8a0361

ShaderOverrideClothesPS6=31a53dca07ae4242
ShaderOverrideClothesPS7=a0f5bfe5195c4502
ShaderOverrideClothesPS8=dd9678efa5efd982 -- don't have Kokoro Cherry Blossom SSR in DMM
ShaderOverrideClothesPS9=52c5ae3cdc7810ca -- don't have Kokoro Cherry Blossom SSR in DMM

ShaderOverrideClothesPS11=1a57b0790b876d57
ShaderOverrideClothesPS12=5c4ca403dd607603
ShaderOverrideClothesPS13=635329c855070942

-- END of old base d3dx.ini, remainder may have different names from other peoples

ShaderOverrideClothesPS14= (old 5c8cb360ba8afa6d) --Was originally commented out
ShaderOverrideAccessoryLensePS=90413848ce1de931 (old 1e372bfddbafcfc9) (Clear glasses, shared with shower glass - demist)

ShaderOverrideClothesFur=8523156c83176528 (old 01f66fd20f225798) -- I don't have any of the fur suit SSRs to check

ShaderOverrideClothesFoamOutline=1455a221f955fa05 (old f235ea841e8674d8)
ShaderOverrideClothesFoam2=? (old 096e8de77c05a141) -- I don't remember where this one came from and foam suits aren't yet in Steam This one appears to still be present, and I'm not even sure if it is actually needed as a clothing shader as it only uses a diffuse texture which isn't exactly normal.
ShaderOverrideClothesAnimation=e75fdf498eeb3be0 (old c6e132593ad49c90) -- I don't have either Luna/Honoka's animated Space looking SSRs to check

Edit: I'm an idiot, I forgot i can use the Event Episodes to check on the ones i don't have.

If anyone has identified any other updated shader hashes than what I've listed thus far for clothing since I haven't listed the few other Eye, Hair, Skin, Shadow ones yet (because I haven't gotten into looking for them just yet) let me know the hash, and what suit its used on. Once this has all been compiled, I'll push an update to a fork of the base d3dx.ini maintained in DarkStarSword's github repo (https://github.com/DarkStarSword/3d-fixes/tree/master/DOAX-VenusVacation) and publish an interim update in the same format as they've been maintained thus far.

Clothing shaders now covered 100% (from what I've been tracking atleast)

ShaderOverrideHairPS5=7624d48fb5ccb677 (suspect: 7624d48fb5ccb677, 354 lines from the diff, plus Knight77's finding) (from ghost-writer ShaderOverrideHairMomiji2) - Having trouble finding this one.

Note: I'm probably missing some of the Hair Shaders as I only use a few of the available hair mods, so I haven't been keeping up to date if any additional shaders have been identified.

Used by facial expressions

ShaderOverrideSkinMatsuge=f51ace621d700e10

Used by knight77

ShaderOverrideClothesPS14 and ShaderOverrideClothesPS17 were already covered by differently named overrides above.

ShaderOverrideClothesPS15 and ShaderOverrideClothesPS16 are for modding new types of things, so I'd rather create a new shader category CommandListEnvironment ($shader_type=8) which supports checking ib, vb0, and ps-t0 only unless someone needs me to do otherwise)

ShaderOverrideWater=0f0a2c40c629c533 (Knight77's ShaderOverrideClothesPS16)

ShaderOverrideVenusBoard=892f7246173bea98 (Knight77's ShaderOverrideClothesPS15) (Same as KrunkDrunk's ShaderOverridePSOenBoard1)

Unmatched Hashes to Steam from knights77 update

7624d48fb5ccb677 (possibly e700545df3484d4d for ghost-writer's ShaderOverrideHairMomiji2

Forgot Swimsuit Swapper's additional Fingernail Hash that was identified

ShaderOverrideFinernailsPS2=74f3dfe5ffc64d2f (minazuki's ShaderOverrideFingernailsPS-HonokaNails)

I did an analysis of every shader HLSL in DMM to every shader in Steam and found the closest DMM shader with the least number of lines from running a diff.

steam2DMM.csv

Any that around 19/20 lines from the diff are highly probably to be a match from before/after. Others that are higher really should be visually inspected as it could be a new temporary variable that shifts the causes more lines to be different.

Do you still have a gacha demist ini file with clear glass you show here working? Please share the file or the post link.

With the latest fix knight77 posted (and other solutions tested that have been posted) the pink light removal from the gacha demist I was using (with my own modifications) doesn't work unless I use the first suggested temp solution of enabling all 'global 3rd party mods' in d3dx.ini. Is there a solution for removing the pink light without the global stuff (it crashes my game when heavy grinding sometimes)?

Here are some pics of what's happening:

1. With all 3rd party mods enabled it behaves exactly as it did before (see my post #8337 for video).

allow all enabled.jpg

2. With the latest solution posted by knight77 (pink light and glass pattern is back).

regular.jpg

3. All I can adjust on it for right now (I don't have a clue on how to remove the pink light).

Apparently this code is involved...

Improved with new d3dx.ini. tysm XD

Can you post a picture of how it looks for you?

I had added that hash already to get my third picture. It's the pink light that showed up for me that I don't know how to find and get rid of (and I want to learn how to get rid of it in the result animation I posted of Fiona and in some Event episodes). I did a couple of small trial and error tweaks over time to a gacha demist.ini that was posted a long time ago to get it how I liked. I remember it used to cause the Blackjack/Roulette table graphic to disappear on DMM, a pink hue/light would turn off and on during the result animation camera changes for some girls, changing room location light would flicker like crazy, etc. I might just have to start all over from a gacha demist.ini that's working now and see if I can get it back to how I liked.

Compared to the Fiona result animation I posted before, this is how it looks for the older girls (no pink light in the second half for all girls is my goal).

This is with 'all third party mods' enabled:

I update these files

DMM demist FIX.ini

and delete these files

All mods running well but

When I press F10, I always display two lines of error messages, and I don't know how to fix them.

and IDK why MarieRose,Kanna and Nagisa in the bathroom time,their breasts all look a size bigger? Why not the original size?

@Fiona_Lovers - Not really sure what's going on there, likely a replacement that is carrying over unintentionally.

--All

Attached is the work in progress d3dx.ini based off the original base d3dx.ini.

It should include all of PS hashes (I didn't add any VS hashes) from most of the modding posts I could find and any of the mods I had active that had valid ShaderOverrides.

I created a new shader_type category for things that want replacements but not really character based (CommandListEnvironment at shader_type = 7). I'm not really sure if I should go ahead and add the tanning shader_type I use in CostumeCustomizer but for now I'll just skip the number i used (6). I also assigned a shader_type value to the GUI shader override as well. Hair replacements are now enabled by default. It also includes by default excluding embedded "desktop.ini" if you set any custom Windows Explorer settings like custom folder icons or anything.

Let me know if I missed anything. I'll be putting out a merge request to the primary github repo with the updates and we'll see how that goes. This version has the old hashes, hashes from 20190425 (In case Steam ever updates to those) and new hashes from 20200610. They are all matched up for there same equivalent by name and the bytecodes have all been calculated for the 20200610 ones so this d3dx.ini should be usable for both Steam and DMM. There could be some duplicate hashes depending on how some of your installed mods were set-up (embedded ShaderOverrides versus requesting updates to the d3dx.ini).

File (Last updated: 06/12/2020)

d3dx.iniFetching info...

Note: this doesn't yet have much consideration for demist yet. Over the last year there have been several variations to the original demist mod, so even when fixed there should probably be some cycle options/settings to control the level of demist.

thx man

@bobrealize That might have something to do with the 'Square Bikini Nude' mod you are using. I know there is a version out there that modifies the body(including pregnant) with hotkeys like ctrl+1 and others.

After I updated d3dx.ini,

etsorhtt's Hairmod_lunaV22 mod can change the color and style, but the twintails only disappeared in half.

Is there a way to deal with it?🥺

I never used it so I don't know the adjustment you need to make exactly (instructions say two ways to change it).

You need to turn on "Hunting Mode" in your d3dx.ini again(open and do a search). It's not enabled by default.
