I thought this site wasn't really "inviting" for female audiences, considering all the themes most mods have. I mean, it's certainly well moderated and people are usually polite but I wouldn't be surprised if most women are offended by some of the content released here. I know it's all about fantasies and fetishes, but still, we can be really misinterpreted sometimes.

Not really. Female players and modders are well represented in the BDSM, non-consensual and bestiality mods. They're all just fantasies, and a sane adult, female or male, should be to distinguish. The sims modding scene also has a higher percentage of female than the Bethesda scene. 

 

The small percentage of female is just typical for a forum that combines three topics over-represented by males:

• Gaming
• Modding, i.e. a type of software development
• Porn

IRL I work in software development for the financial sector, again a combination of two male-dominated subjects, and there are virtually no females working in my field, a much smaller percentage than LoversLab.

 

Also worth noting that there would be plenty of females that prefer not to declare their gender ( or show their face) publicly on the internet though, to avoid unwanted attention. 

 

I actually know a prominent modder on here who is actually female who doesn't declare gender on her profile, but everyone assumes her to be male so she just keeps quiet about it.

i was pretty sure Highborn meant that he thought women might be more likely to be offended (than men) by certain types of mods here. Like the rape mods. Females as slaves mods. Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. I know there are women who have those fantasies and also men who dislike it. People are different. I wasn't trying to generalize or anything, just stating the chances. And, of course, the gaming community as a whole has a history of girls being harassed, especially online. So that's why I said it wouldn't be surprising if women wasn't really encouraged to be outspoken here.

I think there is a lot of truth to what you are saying. I for one didn't comment for about as long as i had this forum account because of the themes of the mods. People that are turned on by rape and stuff isn't really a crowd i thought i would want to be associated with. However, after using these mods and seeing people like Vinfimy and vonHelton and their willingness to take time out of their day to help random people. I realized that people here know that these games and mods are all fake. I bet there is no one(i hope) on here that would ever condone non-Consensual sex. Yeah, sorry for not really knowing what to post. I'm really new to both Gaming and Sex. I was Muslim until recently and so this... stuff... isn't something I'm used to talking about or engaging in.
