Also, holy crap I noticed that Leito added a bunch of animations to his animation gun mod during my absence from this game. God, I can't wait to have them with Four-Play or AAF support someday! No offense to him but Crazy's animations are pretty outdated and make using Four-Play a lot less fun than using Leito's Animation Gun.

All of his M/F animation are already supporting AAF and the support for them is part of the download. Just install and AAF loads them automaticly.
Animal animations are not fully supported by AAF yet.

How is AAF used versus Four-Play? Do you install AAF, the animation packs and voila, it just works? Do you need something like Four-Play's SexEmUp to trigger animations with AAF?

 

Excuse my dumbness, I haven't read much into AAF yet.

AAF has a Proxy that lets you use FP mods with it. Don't forget to download rufgt's Animation tho because it's the only native F/F animation that's available for AAF atm.

More infos are in the installer driven archives you download, so if you use NMM, Vortex or Mod Organizer then you'll be guided through the installation.

 

Else just download Leito's Animations, install and AFF picks them right up and puts them to use.

AAF has a compatibility patch that lets you use it over top of 4Play.

Better practice is to uninstall FP instead of installing AAF's patch over it.
No need in obsolete files cluttering up the data folder.

That's true but if your using other mods like RSE, Enhanced Family Planning, Four Play Attributes-Framework, Four Play Sexual harassment then you need Four play and in a couple of cases Four Play Patch as a requirement. So till they either get patched or rebuilt to use AAF then you need to use the Proxy. The last time I used the Proxy all my characters did was stand back to back fully clothed and that's it. so Figured one of those other mods might be interfering. So I'm going to check to see if this fixes it then I know others that use those mods will be on board too.

Erm... if you install AFF's FP Proxy then it replaces Four_Play.ESP with an almost barebone version that only has the bare neccessities.

it replaces the core scripts that are used to fire FP's animations too so they instead forward those calls to AAF.

All other files become completly obsolete in the process, including Four_Play_Resources.ESM.

 

And AAF has just been updated and from the reports i've seen, it works almost compeltly flawless with SEU, SH and RSE.

Pretty sure there is at least one mod that uses Four_Play_Resources.esm as a master file, I remember seeing it when updating, though can not for the life in me remember which mod it was.

The ESM has no refernce to any assets so if there's a mod that uses the factions, keywords, formlists or w/e from it, then it's enough to put the ESM in place.

Hello guys, I was originally going to write this post because I was having problems getting the animation to start with foreplay. After doing the Papyrus log, for some reason the animation started to work although the actors are not lining up and when I go to the test cell I'm having an issue with choosing the exact position for the animation and not working, if I choose random it works fine. Frankly I don't know what I'm doing wrong with this whole setup but I would appreciate any help that you guys can give me. Oh and on a side note I don't see foreplay in the MCM mod controller. Yes and no.

FP can't load animation packs as those are hardcoded but it works with all FP mods w/o much problems and supports creature animtions.
AAF can load animation packs (Like Leito86's or rufgt's) but has still problems with some FP mods and doesn't fully support creature animations yet.

 

Choose based on what you're looking for.

You've got...quite a number of active mods and this is going to make troubleshooting difficult. When I was having trouble getting Four-Play to work initially, I had to disable all my mods and enable one at a time to find conflicts.

 

Anyway...how are you trying to initiate sex? Through SexEmUp? I don't see MCM (Mod Configuration Menu) in your load order. You can't initiate sex using SexEmUp unless you set a hotkey using MCM. Are you able to start sex animations using the animation guns? Why don't you have Leito's Animations downloaded? Those are lightyears ahead of Crazy's. Plus, you really need MCM if you're going to be using RSE and FPE or else you're going to have no idea of all the extra stuff those mods are adding to the game.

 

Download MCM, try to initiate sex using SexEmUp and then get back to us.

i have mcm i dont know why its not showing and i thought that leitos animation pack was allready included in the community patch

Ok so I THINK I installed it correctly. I can get some of the animations to play but not all of them. The first terminal in coc 4test can play random animations (some of them) and have them work but if I try to pick a specific one it won't work. The red light will just come on after the three seconds are up.

 

I've noticed in game that some of the animations aren't showing up right as well, I thought this was just because the NPC and I were glitched on a mesh (like the ground or a bed) and this was just making it so I couldn't see the animation. Obviously not.

 

My biggest issue though is I can't get any animations to play for ghouls or super mutants. I'm running RSE and I thought it was that mod's issue...someone told me it's probably Four Play not RSE that's messing up. Humans are fine (though again some of the animations aren't running), but anything but humans aren't. It actually caused my game to get stuck to the point I had to load an old save to get out of it. What happened was a group of three super mutants ambushed me and dropped my health to a certain point, kicking the rape option in. The three of them run over to me, I can't move or do anything so I know what's happening (the mod is kicking in). Two of the super mutants stand on either side of me and the third one just walks past me. And keeps walking...I waited about 5 real minutes before I gave up and reloaded my save.

 

When it comes to ghouls, I was in the Slog when a ghoul ran up to me and demanded I submit to him. I do so but the dialog ends and he walks away. This kept happening.

 

I made a log, hopefully it works and shows you what's wrong...I probably fucked something up somewhere.

Edit:

 

After using that terminal multiple times I couldn't get Missionary or Standing with hands on shoulders to show up. All the rest seemed to work. Now I don't know if they are both missing/not working or if the random selection the terminal uses just never picked them both. Wandering around the other rooms the NPCs were having sex when I wasn't using the terminals. I saw one getting a blow job and another one was actually in the missionary position so maybe that one does work. The standing with hands on shoulders I haven't seen yet.

 

Actually thinking on it...I might have seen the standing with hands on shoulders but not the just standing one. It's one of those that seems to not be showing up. And since one NPC was getting a blow job...there are other animations at work here...so there could be more I'm missing or aren't working.

Hmmm...you wouldn't happen to be using a custom race mod or unique player mod, would you?

damn...came back after giving it a while in hopes of another CAN patch/work-around.  But from reading the last 20 oe so pages the news just seemed to get worse and worse :C.  I do hope someone else picks this up if its truly abandoned, as when i had it working it was fun to use....

As a developer of fourplay mods, I am starting to become concerned about the state of fourplay. I know AAF is there and it will continue to grow. My concern is that my particular mod appears to have unresolvable issues with it. I wish I knew which way to go on this - scrap all of my fourplay base and switch to AAF and hope, HOPE, I can find where the breakpoint is between RSE and AAF, or hope for a fresh update of fourplay that allows anim-loading and other features, while retaining all that came before so I dont have to overhaul my mod...

 

Just hoping someone with the authority to tell us mod authors what is what, comes and tells us what is what...

I can tell you.......Doc Clox has been gone for almost 2 years, Crazy has been gone for over a year, and Vinfamy has been gone for under a year.
