This harmony spell doesn't seem to be firing for me. I get attacked every time I get kidnapped. Then they keep attacking until either defeat or death alternative kicks in.

 

 

Do you have SexLab Enchantress or any mods that modify magic in the game?

 

 

TesVEdit says no, other than yours. But since you use that spell, it might be a  good idea to create a copy with whatever parameters you need so nothing does overwrite your changes. But that led me to the solution: just rename the harmony spell in your mod to slk_harmony. Now it's being correctly applied. I suspect that even though tesvedit isn't showing any other mods changing the harmony spell, something is affecting it via scripts or maybe another mechanism. Anyway, it's an easy fix.

Some good news guys: Progress has been much easier than expected so Version 3.0 will be released this weekend, which will include Rescue Victim quests (suitable for straight male characters, but also for any characters really), spectator behavior (kidnappers cheering and laughing, insulting and talking to each other while they're not having sex). City-specific scenarios will be back in 3.0, now that I have created a new non-trespass script, plus a bunch of new scenarios too.  Plus more stability, compatibility and performance improvements.

The Debug reset option works really well. I upgraded from 2.0 and never could seem to get a kidnapping to naturally happen (only using the force option), so I tried the Debug option. Now everything activates as it should.

 

Followers are still kinda wonky though, at least in my case. I use AFT, so my followers tend to teleport to the location with me, even when I have rescuer set to none. Sometimes they just stand there not doing anything, sometimes they randomly get aggro and start fighting whatever kidnapped me.

So it seems despite suggestions of having them work together, Defeat and SLKidnapped are knocking heads. Having both on causes me an instant CTD.

 

They do work together. I have tested quite extensively with the two of them together without problems. Quite a few people have confirmed that they work well together in this thread too.

 

It's probably more due to your overall load. Try turning off a few performance-intensive features in SexLab like Race/Gender Adjustment, Disable Teleport, Seed NPC Stats and Debug (in the final MCM page)

It does have something to do with AFT in that AFT makes the followers always teleport with you.

 

I'll find a way to work this out at some point though. For now, use your follower as fellow victim (which is what most people are doing anyway) or ask them to wait if you expect to be kidnapped.

 

Interesting note about the Debug option. This shows that the reason why some people can't have kidnappings happen naturally is simply because the mod has loaded properly yet. All the Debug option does really is reload/ reset the mod and teleport you to the Sleeping Giant.

 

 

Just an idea to throw out there, the kidnappers skipping the rape part on a virgin because they'd get more money for selling her.

 

Interesting. I'll definitely look into improving the variety of kidnappers' behaviors.

According to foreveraloneguy, this seems to be because the mod's Harmony spell was renamed from vanilla's orginal in 2.1 . This has been fixed in 3.0, which will be up tomorrow. So wait until then to see if it will work for you now.

According to Dapper Dan Pomade, the Debug option solves this issues and will allow the kidnaps to trigger naturally. This simply means that the mod wasn't loaded properly the first time around (perhaps due to a heavy load).

The maximum number of rounds you can take depends on your Stamina times a multiplier set in the MCM." So, if I set 0.2, does this mean that I will last longer or shorter? And does the amount of stamina I have matter as well, since on level 303 I have 1100 stamina, which can be a slight problem if one needs to exhaust me.

0.2 is higher than the default of 0.05 so you will last 4 times longer.

 

1100 at 0.05x, you will last 55 rounds! You should reduce the multiplier

How comes Sun Shang Xiang is Kongming's most devout follower? :) Didn't they fall out big time while Liu Bei was invading Yi. He sent Zhao Yun to take  Adou back from her?

SexLab Kidnapped 3.0 Released:

 

  • 150+ kidnapping scenarios, including city-specific scenarios
  • 40+ radiant rescue quests
  • Added injury at the start of the kidnap, making it much harder to escape

Yeah, what really confirmed to me that something had changed was the debug messages. I had previously turned them on but nothing was coming up on screen. After the teleport to Sleeping Giant, I was inundated with debug messages.

 

So yeah, I definitely urge anyone having troubles to give the Debug option a shot.

Early experiences in 3.0 have been positive. I had to do the Debug thing after updating, so I'm just gonna go ahead and make that a general rule for myself from now on. Got kidnapped and brought to a mine just loaded with Saarthal miners (which, upon researching, aren't apparently integrated into the vanilla game). New scenario?

 

Followers still teleported with me, but at least instead of attacking anyone they were naked like the miners and decided to join in at a certain point. Which I prefer to the attacking, frankly.

Devious Devices being added by kidnappers will be interesting, makes it more challenging to get free and get items back. Deviously enslaved has a script to add devices after rape, with % set at 20% by default. it integrates with simple slavery as well. perhaps you could look at how that mod adds devices

Possible trigger... ( Frostfall patch ) you freeze to near death, and have a chance to trigger being found unconscious.

 

 

Frostfall already has options for to be RESCUED or SENT TO NEARBY INN in the MCM. You could add a patch with additional options...

 

- Chance of Kidnapping

- Chance of Slavery

- Chance of wild animal finds you, for a night of sex.

 

 

Just some ideas... :)

Yes, it will be in a future update. The only reason why I've been delaying it is because a lot of people request content for straight male characters so I prioritized the rescue quests first

 

Loading a save with an active Hostage quest seems to break it. The map marker disappears, the Find on Map option in the journal gets greyed out, and the scenario doesn't play out when you reach the location.

 

Interesting. Will look at this, the quests are generated dynamically so I can imagine saving and loading causing problems.

Great update.

 

Few noticeable glitch that i got on my end is multiple "I got kidnapped" pop up, end up being teleported twice. Love the spectator feature though they're not always working. Rescuer seems never detected any hostile around the cell, so they just start jerking off, fine by me i guess.

 

Is it possible for disable one or two location where player going to be held through console ?

 

It's getting better and better and thanks with the threesome chances. Looking forward for kidnapped after defeat but no hurry.

Tested 3.0 for rescue quests, it's working but with many problem during my playthrough:

 

1 Quest start kicking in after 3 or 5 in game days, I was doing side quest for inn keeper until I get one.

 

2 The invisible spell is kinda of powerful and buggy, even after I start killing kidnappers, they won't fight back

 

3 even I set someone as victim or cuckold targets, the one in rescue missions still appear to be random.

 

Here is some suggestions:

 

1 Give rescue mission it's own MCM page and settings, like happening chance, picking from a group(like followers, spouse, people has higher relationship with player.

 

2 Using sexlab setting for stripping, I don't know, maybe its better this way.

 

3 After the rescue, give victims a dialogue for rewarding sex or a MCM option for that, start sex straight away feels off. 

 

4 If someone close to you get kidnapped, you can use messenger to send ransom letters like the origins DLC quest, this gives you a lot new options, like the "girl gone bad" stuff we talked about.

 

Anyway awesome works, you really did a great job cover so many things we really lacks for a long time.
