Wouldn't have been necessarily bad to convert, though it's a bit confusing. I kept derping and losing conversion and slider data over and over again (don't do stuff when half asleep). Let me know if anything about it is odd, I backtracked so many times I might've missed something because I had already done it before.

 I love all the unique animantions that have come out for Skyrim. So I spent a great deal of time picking and choosing dance, sex and regular pose anims to plug into this pose mod and that idle mod. All this tweaking fun came to a halt when my Skyrim died. I stumbled on your post while rebuilding my UUNP stock and it looks pretty sweet but while looking at your conversions I clicked the link to your OSA Mod and that was it. WHAT A GREAT MOD...you read my mind and saved my Skyrim! I like OSEX and all but this dance mod should have come with OSA. It's like when UUNP met BodySlide .You did a great job with the UI (making it function like OSA) and unlike my patch method of injecting dances into idle mods, I don't get that camera flying away thing, and i can use camera controls now. Again, fantastic addition to OSA, thank you for making this for us!

Thank you, and everyone that loves what I've been releasing, I've been getting a lot of support lately and it's really uplifting. ^^ It's really great to see other people that like the same things I do use and appreciate these, that's the point of sharing after all.

 

Hopefully I can bring JRDance to it's initial release someday soon. Then I can stop hesitating about developing some small ideas I've been wanting to attach to it.

The biggest applause will always go to the animators themselves however. I'd love to join those ranks as well, in due time.

 

Ah, and the menu remains CEO's work, I'm simply using the tools he made available for OSA developers, the hard part is looking into the code, testing and understanding it. :'D

Might be my own fault, probably. 

"JR - Engineer?" I wasn't really aware there was a difference. but I got the outfit in its entirety from the .esp via the item menu mod. 

 

Let me take a quick look again before I pass any final judgment on that though. I will edit this post when I'm done.

 

EDIT: Turns out it was my own fault. I wasn't actually aware that you need to open up Bodyslide and generate files for those things. Odd considering I'd not had to do it before with other things. 

I really wish the UNPB All in one worked better with bodyslide and using bodyslide didn't break its own sliders in game.. :T

It does state these are BodySlide conversions in the description. Though I took the chance to at least update the requirements list to see if it all becomes a bit more obvious.

 

Hmm... I'm not sure if I understand what you mean with BodySlide breaking it's own sliders in game, do you mean the sliders that you alter using showracemenu? When you build an outfit using BodySlide note the checkbox at the bottom left named "Build Morphs". Checking this when building will add additional files which allow the outfit to morph via sliders in game as well.

Off topic but does it do the same thing for the normal naked HDT body as well? 

I'm using the All in One HDT Pussy mod, and I believe the last time I made a body for it, it got rid of the vagina model and its HDT physics, I suppose by overwriting it with its own. 

 

TL;DR: If I generated the HDT body in bodyslide, will it overwrite my current body?

 

 

Well. Like the dumb person I am, I decided to make a batch build of all my outfits that weren't the body and ended up ruining all my bodyslide based outfits.. :T

 

Including outfits I don't know how to turn back to normal. Perhaps I should have tested this before hand. Any idea if there's a 'revert to original' option in Bodyslide? >>

Ah well. My problem. If it gets as bad as I think, I'll make my own thread for it. 

 

I'm not sure if I understand the problem in the second post. If you build the body using the UUNP Special "outfit" it'll have the same physics as the ones from the All in one HDT, and yes, it will replace your current naked body. If you dont have an UUNP special outfit entry in your selection list it means you didn't select it when you installed BodySlide.

 

But yeah, while I'm more than willing to help with anything I can it'd be best to seek advice for things unrelated to this topic outside of this thread, as those that folllow it are unlikely to be interested in this.

Think I got everything back to how it was previously, and if not, it won't be too hard to fix.

Will always check back here for new conversions!

I really appreciate people who take the time to convert outfits to other body types.  Thank you for all these.  I'm thinking of switching over to UUNP so these are very nice.

 

There is one outfit I would like to try when I get there.  The creator calls it the "Blood Mage" outfit.  Picture can be found here:

I thought about not doing the Blood Mage at all, since just from looking at the straps in the chest area I could tell it'd be a bit of a nightmare to do properly, and I'm unsure on whether I'll keep it in my own game.

 

But since this isn't the first time it's come up though I might at least give it some time and mark it as flawed. I don't intend to perfect each slider and mostly just look for clipping issues as well as update the weight paint. The result can range from perfect, to so-so to kinda bad (mostly on some low weights) depending on your preset. So you can at least give it a try and see if it works out for ya.

Mine here is a so-so result imo, as my preset uses a couple of troublesome sliders:

I gave it as much effort into building the base UUNP shape as any other outfit, but as expected I couldn't bring myself to spend the time it would be required for each slider to make the conversion as good as it should be. I think it's still worth trying it out thou!

Well, I took a quick look at it and went through the readme.txt as well. The machine translated English was pretty hard to read but if I'm reading it right (and I might not) the author seems annoyed by others sharing his work outside of... wherever it came from, and seems to mention this website (again, machine translation, hard to tell). There doesn't seem to be any links to the source in the readme so who knows where it comes from anyways... -_-"

 

While I personally consider conversion files a bit of a gray area I at least try not to step on the toes of an author that seems to already be in a disagreeable disposition. If you happen to know the source I'll send a poke it's way, but considering that English does seem like 100% machine translation it'll be a very long shot.

Not prioritizing it right now, but I'm interested.

 

There is also Vampire Dark Knight armor which for some reason hasn't been converted it. But you dont have to XD

My personal ideal of any modder is to allow anyone to play with their toys, the same way modders themselves make use of free tools provided by others. Whatever it may be, everyone uses tools designed for the betterment of our lives and personal enjoyment, from software down to the warmth of our clothes, brought through the textile evolution. At it's core, what we're doing isn't that different from sharing knitting patterns.

This is why I really appreciate authors such as Nisetanaka, whom basically let's anyone do whatever with the toys he throws at us. Mind you, there is at least one very logical and legitimate reason for why some people don't share their work, as they might make use of assets from companies that have contracts to uphold, and the weight of responsibility can be heavy for the one that obtained those limited permissions.

 

That's just part of my personal opinion about it though. Ultimately I have to respect the author's choice when presented to me, as it might otherwise eventually penalize future projects in some way. And since those projects will also include other people's work, even more so. As I want their efforts to reach as big an audience as possible without having upset authors harassing unrelated projects left and right.

 

The more I hunt for assets that would help me with future projects the more I come across weird stories related to this stuff, it's a bit depressing to be honest.

 

That's my rant on the matter. I understand where you're coming from, but my hands are tied.

Yeah, I saw that. I'm a bit on the fence about it as some details on it's shape might potentially take a bit longer than I'd like. And doing conversions that aren't up to certain standards is starting to leave a bad aftertaste.

Look at me, being a fancy pants and having standards now... xP

 

Anyways, after a couple of conversions the next ones I'll be doing are pretty much up in the air.

It's great to see more UUNP conversion done. Thanks for all your works! I used CBEE before before I changed recently for UUNP because we had more choice with shape. If it's not too much asking, would you mind to convert to UUNP these UNPB mods later?
