SSE Mods compatibility

Recommended Posts

RaceCompatibility for SE has been released. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2853/

Custom Races from Oldrim works as well. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8720/? Same mesh/texture/skeleton/morph installation instructions also apply.

Midnight Light Armor for UNP works right out of the box. Just use the loose files version if installing from MO2; the packed version (BSA) requires using the SSE-compatible BSA extractor.

I don't think this has been mentioned yet but Hmm What To Wear appears to be working fine in SE.

Update... It looks like there might be an issue with the leather armor. It keeps crashing my game.

I was able to resolve this by going into the new CK and deleting all the leather pieces the mod adds. The main file is an esm so you'll have to save your changes to a new esp. Once you activate it in your load order, you should not see those leather pieces in the game anymore. This fix came from a post on the mod page on the Nexus.

Will SSE open new possibilities regarding mods? Like, since SKSE has to be rewritten maybe some mods that could never be made in Oldrim can be made in this one? Like 360 walk and run while in combat, or different animations for each type of weapon (big axes swords and hammers share the same); what do you think?

Two Handed Sword and Two Handed Axe are already two different anim type in their records...

I have been playing with these for about 7 hours now with no issues.

-I'm using DB with XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended, not the included skelton.

-Using the spells only version.

Hi there

But how do you use Dizona Body? I've tried it... but then, Skyrim SE doesen't run anymore. Any hints on that? Thanks.

I manually installed it and then installed XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended and let it override the DB skeleton, ran FNIS and it worked for me.

Ok. I've tried again. I only installed the Main-File from Dizona Body and let XP32 override the DB skeleton, then FNIS. Now, it works. The only thing that is strange: If my character don't move (stands still), he stands there like he's freezed.. Thanks anyway.

Hey I forgot the DB comes with an idle so you have to convert the mt_idle.hkx to the SSE one or just delete/replace then run FNIS again. Here is the converter... http://www.loverslab.com/topic/68910-simple-batch-conversion-skyrim-to-skyrim-se-hkx/ hope this helps.

Legendary Armors - DeserterX Collection - Partially Working

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76522/?

Need to edit to remove the HDT highheels.esm master or just ignore the error.

Avoid the bikini version for now.

Also looks like he's releasing a SE version soon.

Legendary Armors - Bikini has been working for a week or so. Enough for MXR to put it in his video at least.

Saw that and grabbed it.  :)

You know if the regular Legendary Armors and the Armor Progression Overhaul MODs will get ported to SSE?  They're essential in my mind as the craft only mods kind of suck.

That would require removing the high heels of each boots parts, are you sure you want that ?

Well, I do not know how to do this I just like to play with these mods in the SE version.

If anyone can do this for me I would be grateful.

Tera Armor CBBE: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29411 (no animations) works, but as I have only build two of them and avoided those were the preview showed nothing (maybe I did not wait long enough for the preview to show up). Classify it as works partial for now. (The Bodyslide linked in the description does not work due to no HDT, I have not checked if the HDT sliders can be removed safely).

Ultimate Assortment: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39959/? Works partially (shows up in the shop) but I do not have enough gold to by one of them (would need to gold-cheat).

Apparently Tera Weapons works too according to the post (15:09, 20 Nov 2016) on http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27463/

True Wolves of Skyrim works
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59174/?

Not sure if it matters, but I am using FNIS 7_0 and XPMSSE 4.00b

Files used, and installed in this order:
True Wolves of Skyrim - Replacer - 2kmagnifier.png

Version 1.2 Date 21:16, 23 October 2014

Optional:

True Wolves of Skyrim - Lola Standalone - 2k

magnifier.png

Version 1.2 Date 20:54, 23 October 2014

UPDATE - You NEED this to make Lola work correctly
magnifier.png

Version 1.2 Date 18:58, 23 October 2014

*Edit* If using XPMSSE, Uninstall it before installing True Wolves of Skyrim, then reinstall. You could simply click "No to Mod" when it comes to overwrite request, but I prefer to play it safe and just reinstall XPMSSE. Yes, I am a picky little S***

Not to get your hopes up but anyone look into SkyUi 4.0 or 4.1? I thought I remember hearing it works in SE, probably from a YT play through or Mod Review. Just no search function. Had to be installed manually and with overwrites? Can't seem to locate the video anymore.

It should be noted that bethesda doesn't seem capable of releasing a product bug-free. Even when that product is 5 years old.

From USSEP description:

Due to a bug in the load order system for the official in-game menu, USSEP is currently being distributed as a standard ESP file. This will remain so until Bethesda fixes the bug in their load order system to properly handle user generate files flagged as ESM.

Anyhow, as long as the interface remains vanilla, I'm not sure I can gather the strength to play the special edition. I hope somebody will port SkyUI.

This.

I downloaded SSE and USSEP and launched the game. Sadly, without SkyUI, SexLab, Victoria High Heels Walk, and physics-enabled UUNP Bodies, outfits, hair and earrings, I quickly lost interest and shut it down. I could've lived (for a while) without my ENB, Climates of Tamriel and most of the 275 other mods in my Skyrim, but Bethesda does such a horribad job of character and NPC modeling that the game is just fugly and no fun any more without my beauty mods.

Pretty sure that was a MXR vid, and it was SkyUI 2.2, im using it, works perfectly fine aside from having a giant message in the top right saying theres a new version or some shit like that.. Dont know how to get rid of that. Just DL it manually and just add it to the NMM if you use that, will load it up just fine. If anyone knows how to get rid of the giant message in the top right, please let me know! <3

People are actively working on making the SKSE64 required for it. I'm talking to them daily, it just takes a while.

Only SkyUI i've seen working is 2.2, works without SKSE somehow, but has a error message on screen saying it needs it, can safely be ignored though.
