For some reason Steam insists on having this whole collection show up on my "Recommended" feed in the store even though I'm pretty sure I haven't bought/played any game or done anything to suggest I'd be interested in almost-explicit VNs about anime catgirls. I mean, furry VNs? That I would understand (surprisingly enough, I haven't gotten a single one on my feed yet). But why anime?

Blame Tokyo Mew Mew and Mirtha from Final Fantasy series which I never played i love those  fluffy ears and tails on girls that is my finish

No, I meant why does Steam think I may be interested in those games? I have never played anything anime-related, and while I have played furry-related stuff, that would explain suggestions for furry games, but not anime ones. I'd understand it if it had shown me something like NekoJishi in the Recommended feed, but not NekoPara (maybe the algorithm got confused and went for the wrong "Neko" game?).

I've been in (sort of) the same situation. Once 2 or so years ago I stopped playing an anime clicker game because I completely lost interest in those sorts of games. Ever since I first got it I have been still seeing recommendations for softcore hentai puzzle games and "sakura games" even after I got rid of the game and Ignored any games I show no interest in.

It didn't really help my "recommendations" when my friend gifted me Nekopara Vol. 1.

I appreciated the thought though.

Steam seems to take the same approach to suggestions that YouTube does: shove them all in a proverbial shotgun and see if anything produces a hit. :classic_tongue:

I'm wondering why Arthmoor updated USLEEP. Not just a simple hotfix but some serious fixes, including some dirty edits that I learned about two days ago when I used LOOT. He's pretty much said on AFK Mods and Nexus that he was no longer updating USLEEP. So why return now? Isn't he under exclusive contract with Bugthesda? (I'm asking a serious question)

You're right, he's updated the unsupported Legendary version to 3.0.14, how very odd

Almost a year ago, I saw that video on one of those boooooring trips where you spend hours in waiting lounges, stations and terminals. But I was too tired to remember anything from the video. Just something with music and a werewolf.... and I liked it very much.

Back in september, I remembered it for the companion questline.... but couldn't remember where to find it. My own search did come up blank. Asked family, friends.... nothing.

You all know that feeling when you are soooo close but can't really remember the important hint?  :classic_ohmy:

I feel extremely awkward. Everytime somebody stays quiet or says "wait, I don't get it" after I say something, I want to dig a hole and disappear in it. I don't want to talk to anybody else for the rest of my life.

I know the feel, althought I just find annyoing xD and like say something

I feel lost and alone.

I have friends but I can't talk to them about certain things.

Everything is very frustrating to me and I feel like i just want to vent.

Well, if you are lost, then you have a destination in mind, which is good.  If you do not have a destination, then you are in the right place just with nothing to do, which is also good as it frees your imagination.    As for the alone part, that is a bit tougher, at least in LL  you're not virtually alone.  This place is one of the few places where everyone seems to follow the first rule of the site (don't be a jerk).

Unfortunately, you need real friends.  After all, friends help you move, real friends help you move bodies.

Lastly, but not leastly vent away!  It helps, especially when lurkers are always up on LL.

Did you get that from somewhere or did you just come up with it? That was really nice

The problem with venting is it makes me sound super angsty and edgy lol

I wish I could claim it, but I am not that clever, only able modify other peoples' sayings.    It is a variation on a scene from The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension .

Ever notice when you visit porn sites the "first REAL adult video game" has always just been released and is now being advertised just for you? I've noticed for over 10 years now....

They know that no one is willing to charge them with false advertisements to they remain bold enough to make these claims unabated lo these many years much like small-time porn sites do not fear copyright claims from creators whose works they take out of context or simply slap a watermark onto to fill out their 'stock'.

Should I draw? Play Sims? Overwatch? Write the novel? I'm completely blocked and I keep cycling through the same social media sites to see if I've got any updates just to kill time. And it's precious time I could fill with one of the activities mentioned beforehand but I simply can't choose.

Well neither of the activities conflict each other really, you can get inspiration from drawing and writing when playing games, its great source if you play right ones :D , better wasting time and energy on social media.

When I think of what is on my mind, it is so elegant and spoken true to the Queen's English, but......when I type it, it doesn't sound so great.    What is on my mind?  Why RSE keeps going to eternal loading screen when my FO4 avatar is being drugged.  I should know what the conflict is (nothing in LOOT but F4SE shows several warnings, like always).   Ah well, to the tech help thread.

I have to say: I use 2 systems, both were intentionally purchased for gaming, and using the internet. My older one is my go-to when surfing since I have it loaded with all kinds of 'armor' to prevent problems, while the newer one is 'vulnerable' (just basic AV). I notice when going to 'safe' sites like You Tube my experience is totally different depending on the system I use. The 'Armored One' makes it like I've never visited the site before, while the newer one is bombarded with ads, and recommendations due to past use of that site, on that system. Also, I never 'log-in. Al Gorithm is a stalker at best and a thief at worst.

Venting is an Art, the more you do it, the better you get at it.

One of the teachers is leaving and I have to take her place temporally, which means teaching 3-year-olds. They are going to pay me those extra hours but... 3-year-olds. They are basically tiny drunk people, what do I do with them!? How do I toddlers!? I mean, I was their teacher one day and they loved it but now I'm stuck with them until somebody else takes the place (I'm more like a manager than a teacher in that school).

I want to think that I'm ready because I've done this before but I'm terrified at the same time.
