The ESC menu works, but i couldn't get the 3D buttons work even after tweaking NVidia settings (GTX 960). I have anisotrophic filtering and anti-aliasing both off. They were previously either off or application controlled, which didn't work either.

 

My guess, as i know fair bit of Unity, is that there is a transparent frame that "absorbs" clicks before they hit buttons. It could even be Z-fighting. The display model itself seems to be same level as the buttons, and can also absorb the mouse if it has a collider.

 

edit: Oh the SSAA was something i was able to turn off in the game's own graphics settings, but only after i had the ESC menu open. With that the 3D menu works too.

I assume my algorithm bugged out , it is entirely selfmade and..yes.. i make errors too. But good for you xD

Or bad foryou because there is a special scene for each one of them if you loose. (you can choose either Aemis or Vivians -punishment-)

I have a question about how the game is set up with Patreon.  I finished playing the game.  I want to sign up for Patreon to get access to the beta, of the new game.  Having said this, I also read on here that Kerni has never charged for the game, yet.

My question is, If I were to start donate, would I get access to the Beta of Milky Ways, when it is ready?

Pleae wait until the very first beta is out , the first beta will be a public one so you do not need to subscribe for the very first version.(you can see then if the game meets your quality requirements xD)

After that i will continue with my usuall schedule with releaseing beta for patreons first and then later the public version.

Kerny, downloaded this gem last night.

 

First, thank you for making this! While the grammar and spelling issues are present, you make it clear in your posts that English isn't your primary language, so what you've done is excellent work. It's not broken, and doesn't come across like it went through bablefish (an old site predating Google Translate). The story is gripping, the three characters have different personalities, it's really well written.

 

Additionally, the graphics are good! I have a fairly beefy gaming computer, so the Unity Launcher's "best" graphic setting runs smooth and deliciously, though I haven't changed any setting in game, I don't feel the need to.

 

I did run across an issue, though. Story wise, we've taken over the Hangar, Lab, and Maintenance/Reactor sections. I've found most of the toys, talked to Aemi, used the cleaning machine. She had wanted for us to go to the bed in the Labs, but that option is no longer there, and now, I can't talk to either Vivian or Aemi. They walk around, and I can use pretty much anything else I could before, but the icon to talk to them doesn't show up, and pressing E does nothing. I don't know if this is a bug, or just that they're scripted at the moment to do their things and not respond. Any help on this would be appreciated.

I finished the whole story yesterday and yes it really is fun.

 

You may be in a situation where you are expected to go somewhere. Try pressing F1 to see current objective, or mousewheel to scroll through past messages you may have missed. The log might not be saving though, so if you quit game inbetween tries the wheel won't do anything. In that case your one option is to try going everywhere, or ask us. What was the last thing you did, game progress?

Actually, after getting home, none of the saves worked. I think it corrupted, so started from scratch. Am in the crew quarters now. :)

anyone encounter a glitch, where the floor at the center of the laboratories loses collission, so you fall through the floor? only happened during the command quest, stayed that way afterwards...not a huge deal, i can still go everywhere if i'm careful, but kinda annoying

Argggs... none of the savegames work ?
Can you please have a look into the AATOFKL folder and see if files like AATOFL_Save_1.txt have been created ?
Furthermore you can also try to use the savegame workaround. Start the game -> Settings-> gameplay -> set savegame workaround to true this will make the savegames save themself into the playerprefs insteadt of a file.

Or maybe your virus thingy blocked the textfile creation ?

I think that's what it was. I had turned on the savegame workaround option to see if that would do anything, and then when I got home I lost the saves. Like, the icons for the first 3 saves (the white with text), and the one save I was doing, were there, but all said "EMPTY FILE" beneath.

Perhaps part 2 could be about the continuation on the next ship.
If you need help for 3D content let me know, (i'm not a game programmer) but had to work a lot with blender in the past, and i kinda miss to be creative in 3d without a goal.

1. go to the heck of the ship and to your right is the helmet and your space suit

2. This event should brign you to space , from there on out you fly (WASD) into the direction of the station

3. a Red light indicates (right door next to the big hangar door) where you need to hover to.

i upgraded my graphics card to one with 8GB VRAM. Does your RAM requirement of 5GB mean VRAM or RAM?

the texture load shouldn't be inside the RAM for long at all, but be loaded directly to the VRAM anyway.

The 5Gbram requirement is RAM not VRam , although VRam is also needed about 4gb. (max texture size for one scene in Untiy 3D)

I have your mod for a while on my HDD, but it was extremely slow.

With the "Beautiful" setting your mod is just like that => Beautiful.

The menu sounds remind me of Anarchy Online, so your mod won me there already.

(the download worked better this time, I guess I did something right with my graphic card settings too)

To be honest: it's awesome game. Not only "awesome porn game". At one moment I forgot that I downloaded it "because of porn". Story is really good, threads about humanity reminding me Deus Ex and giving reasons to stop and think about it. But of course good sex-animations and graphic are important too ;)
