5f what do you mean with no more single Whip triggered ?

In patch 5d I introduced a new feature, "single whip". Basically when you follow your captor through a town, the townsfolk or the guards will remark about your situation and sometimes will run up to you and whip you once with the crop. This was happening even in your cell or the cage, the guard would open the cell door come in whip you once then leave and the cell door would stay wide open -- not very immersing, so in 5f I disabled that feature for those locations only. (cell and cage)

 

 

Inte, just to let you know, because you try to help me with skse ini and Papyrus Settings and nothing helped. finally i deinstalled skyrim with everything completely, downloaded it from steam again,  added one mod after the other , testing each mod before ading the next. this is a time intensive, but sure way to find the criminal.  yes, it turns out the criminal was a tiny Little mod, just a decoration - calyps sextoys. -  the german Version of it. the dildo from sexlab Comes from it. the mod is much older than sexlab and never updated for sexlab, which is propbably the reason oif the criminal failure.

so i am very happy to have a solid game installtion again inkluding Maria Eden !

 

Yes, sometimes that is the only way to troubleshoot Skyrim. ;)

ctd came back. so i did that all again, this time with a game saved in a separate Folder, only sexlab with matchmaker and randomsex installed, tera armors, apachii hair, thats enough to bring f9 down. so it is no special mod that causes it, but the f9 configuration itself.

 

do you have no Problems with quickload f9 ?

Quick saving/loading in Skyrim is problematic, that is why I only save in a small cell.

BBP is a animation uses resources of your video card  HDT PHYSIC uses resoures from your processor  HDT only needs proper skeleton, body mesh and files [ HDT BREAST AND BUTT PHYSIC. HDT PHYSIC EXTENTION ]  I believe that VICTORIA HIGH HEEL WALK WITH BUTT BOUNCE  has a reverse forward when walking backward  check YOUTUBE for walking animation and HDT PHYSIC

the reason for my 100% ctd at quickload was the cbbe- hdt Body. with my old cbbe-bbp Body i have Zero Problems. also my followers became invisibble after 20 hours playtime and their armor made a beam in the sky, which came down to them ( hard to describe).followers became visible when go down on Desktop and start the game again. after some zoning into Shops, tavern etc they became invisible again.

 

i am sure i  downloaded and installed everything as described :

1. cbbe 3.4c the  actual cbbe body, nr1 at nexus

2. caliente linked to hdt 14.28 , where i choosed threedevils addon bbp loremonger collision additionally

3. further caliente linked to xpms 194,  but the hdt supporting Version is goovtamas xpms Extended in the download files. i choosed that one and not 1.94. do i have to take both ?

xpms Extended links as reqwuirements to fnis, skse, ragdolls and racemenu 3.22,

4.  to that racemenu calientes linked last too.

 

thats it. in xpms Extended i took 32 single wield instead of 33 dual wield , nothing which was not (recommended).i dont see any mistake, except it Extended plus 1.94 has to be taken.

but the result was ^00% quickloadcrash, invisible followers, armor in the sky. well , shrug, i am not a programmer and i dont want  to become one. this is all too much.

you say that hdt takes resources from the processor. i have an Intel quadcore 3,4ghz, but this must be the reason for the f9crash.

my graphiccard is a nvidia gtx 760, 2gb mem. i have 8gb ram.  good enough isnt it ?

 

i wanted to have the hdt Body just for one reason . there is no fitting bbp mod for the devious device assets nipple piercings.

Inte, thanks for taking the reigns and fixing issues with many popular mods. You have made a huge difference.

 

So does the latest patch include all relevant patch info from previous patches to allow for only one file download?

Looking over all of the work that you are pouring into these patches, I feel bad for bringing this up, but there has been an issue brought forward by many PO users, including me; this issue causes NPCS to get stuck doing nothing before, during, or after PO triggered animations. It seems to cause scenes to hang indefinitely.

 

Xaz has stated that this is a Sexlab problem, but I am wondering if there is anyone who can fix the Sexlab problem, that seems to only exist while using PO, by patching PO to force a fix in Sexlab.

 

Sorry for the brain-grinding, but this is the only thing that keeps me from keep PO in every load order.

Don't feel bad about bringing bugs to light, how am I supposed to kill them otherwise. :P

I would need more info about this,

 

  • The NPC's, were they spectators or participants in the scene?  
  • They get stuck doing nothing, like just repeating their last action, like clapping? If they are just clapping the whole scene is waiting for your punisher NPC to get into position.   

 

The pillory scenes in PO work like this,

  • Random punisher NPC is chosen.
  • Crowd is generated. (now delayed with the patches)
  • Punisher walks to the prisoner.
  • Jailer walks to the prisoner.
  • Punisher talks to jailer.
  • Punisher walks to a marker behind the prisoner.
  • Punisher talks to the prisoner.
  • Punisher ... um, punishes the prisoner. (Sexlab, or whip)
  • If Sexlab -- punisher is done and resumes his/hers regularly scheduled programing.
  • If whipping -- jailer walks to the prisoner to make sure she is OK.
  • Punisher dismissed.  
  • Crowd dismissed.
  • All back to normal.

If the NPC's get stuck "pathing" in 3, 4, or 6 the whole scene comes to a screeching halt.

In my tests that is only reason for a scene to get stuck. That, and if the punisher is already in an animation (i.e. sharpening a sword). Yup, the whole game will have to wait for that NPC to finish whatever he/she is doing, and get into position before the scene can continue.

 

This can be fixed by adding a special timer. That is how I fixed the cage scene in SD Patches 0.79 (unpublished).

After a certain amount of time, dependent on the distance between the punisher and the prisoner, the punisher just teleports to the prisoner allowing the scene to continue. Breaks immersion a bit, but better than just sit there for eternity waiting for the punisher.

OK, Inte, I should have included more info, but I tend to be... HEY LOOK A SQUIRREL!

 

Instances in which this hanging issue occurs:

-There are all instances of PO interacting with Sexlab.

-A guard may stand at the jail cell door and... just stand there.

-A guard may open the cell door... and just stand there. Sometimes the game engine or whatever sorts this out after a time, but not often.

-A guard may enter the cell and... just stand there.

-A guard may rape the PC... and then just stand there.

-A guard may exit the cell after raping the PC... and just stand there... with the cell door hanging open. Sometimes this is caused by conflicting pathing with the guard that is scheduled to patrol the inside of the prison. (Especially Whiterun)

-The jailer may hang at any time during escorting the PC, especially when the PC is standing too close.

-During the pillory scenes things get messy.

  --At any time the scene can hang;

    ---At the initiation of pillory rape (no matter who is selected, jailer, townsfolk, follower).

    ---In the middle of the scene (this appears to be the most common instance).

    ---When the jailer is about to escort the PC back to jail.

-This problem has been accompanied by the ability, and I can't remember how I accomplished it, to end up having the player standing freely, apart from the pillory. I try to talk to the jailer, and the message says he's busy.

-Actually I do remember how I managed to be free of the pillory; this occurs between the beginning of the scene and scene itself, as Sexlab scences cause the PC to stand upright. It also happens at the end of the scenes when the PC is also stood upright. It's at these points in particular that the scenes hang.

-I have observed, with certain versions of PO, that the sound still plays while a scene hangs.

 

That's all that I can think of right now, but, like I said, Xaz said it's a Sexlab problem. My real difficulty is that this problem has occurred in every combination of versions of Sexlab and PO that I have used. I'm thinking that, if it is a Sexlab problem, that a patch can be reverse engineered to solve it somehow.

 

Thanks again for all of your hard work, and I hope I haven't made the idea of hiding under a rock appealing to you.

Inte, I love that you update this mod, though I would love to see more content, as there is mostly bugfixes.

 

Maybe things like:

  • Court trials
  • Parole and parole officers
  • Higher security prison for heavy crimes
  • Execution scenes (not only for PC, but publicly executing NPC's to warn player to play nice)

I did expand the follower interaction in PO. After the follower abuses you in the pillory, you get your revenge by being able to abuse your follower while in the cell.

I'm sure this is scary work, but I would like to see followers get arrested. I'm not the only one who has said this, but it was stated, in some terms or another, that it wouldn't be happening. It isn't because it's impossible, but extremely difficult to handle followers.

 

Yeah, they do have a "mind" of their own, just look at Lydia ... always getting in the way.

Your work on these PO patches is a beautiful and functional thing.  They have made PO in my Skyrim SO much more stable, it's amazing.  So thank you for that.  Thank you very much.  I had begun working on my own patches for PO just shortly before your work arrived on the scene.  I was grateful immidiately because while I am a programmer by trade, I hadn't had the time or energy to wrap my head around papyrus scripting.  What you have acomplished is artful and utilitarian, and doesn't seem script-heavy.

On another note, I was wondering about the possibility of integrating a more accurate prison/crime stat tracker than Skyrim's vanilla pause menu one into the MCM.  It would be nice to be able to see things such as how many ACTUAL days the PC has been imprisoned, how many punishments they've received and of what type, ect.  Do you think this is something you might be able to implement?

hi

i just installed patch but Devious Devices Integration and Expansion are "not found", they are both well checked in my load order (got two .esm plus Deviants.esp too).

i got Prison 0.33 and Patch 0.33...

load order mistake ?
