HI to all

I also left FO4 and got back to TTW.

After many ....MANY disconnects I finally have 100% non-crash game ... so if someone needs some help PM me or type here.

I got 1 question .... does anyone got any txt or link to all console commands/edits for SOI ?? like ... (NX_SetEVFL "Atr:Libido")

 

Edit: I forgot to mention ... SOI is awesome addon :smile: I bow to you :smile:

I've used the Intimacy mod in TTW. No obvious issues with it in my playthoughs. PC to NPC interactions have been identical, to FNV. The only thing I'd recommend, is making sure the Lone Wanderers Dad, is excluded. I played around with auto adds, and things got very weird,very quickly with that particular NPC. TTW is mostly stable, but is a bit buggy at times. My install of it runs smoothly, so if you ever need some help testing certain aspects, I'd be more than happy to help.

You might try the documentation included in the test build for settings (second post).  Most of them are still the same.  I'm also going to remove the downloads copy sometime soon and replace it with the test build.

Unfortunately the TTW site has blacklisted my DNS and will not resolve for me.  Since I can't access the site unless I use  someone elses internet, TTW will likely be dead last on my list of priorities (if at all).

You need tocheck what you use with TTW.

TTW Fixes is old and not really advised to install, but you can because one of my mod needs it and I have it and once you installed and started game with it ( and you have too do that ) you can never remove it. Also you cannot install map markers mods - it brakes locations like megaton , Or TTW fixes fixes (they are too old). And like "Dark_Lotus" said no mods enabled till you leave vault. Some are bloken manualy, other unblock automatically.

I didnt know about Beta :confused: I was using the old SOIntimacy.

I installed it today and it is much more simple, and thats a good thing at least I know what the NPC mood is right now.

I Installed beta on old version yesterday and everything works just fine. You can say I am your guinea pig. If my game stops working or something I will let you know.

This mod is amazing. I wish more content worked this way - integrating itself into the game and building up a story or context around the kinky stuff going on.

It may not stop working, but it WILL break the accounting at some point.  How that will effect your game I'm not sure.  You might get away with it.  The new one has a ton of error correction built in.

 

A few tips.

 

If you want to decrease the odds that something will go awry, you should clean save any new dialog esp.  So, disable the dialog esp.  Save game.  Enable the new dialog esp, save.  It should at least help correct any changes made to the dialog.

 

Also, the pause function is now an important tool that should help keep things straight.  If you open the control terminal and the pause button is missing, it means there are NPCs that are still running through the system.

 

With pause and advanced list clearing, it should remedy a lot of problems the old copy had with timing issues.  Bottlenecking/stutter due to this mod is nonexistent in my current test saves.  So use pause liberally.  If it shows up, then it should be safe to save your game.

No sweat.  I enjoy tinkering.  They call me the 'tinker', because I 'tink' alot.  lol

 

I'm not a huge fan of gratuitous porn.  On the other hand I do like the addition of adult situations and content in order to create a sort of 'grown up' version of the game.  Sexual content is just a piece of that puzzle imo.

 

Before I started this mod, I would use the sex scenes as a chance to take a leak and get another beer.  Then Doc made SOFO, and I realized that I could make it a meaingful part of the story.  I've been chipping away at the novelty of it ever since.

I'm assuming you're talking about the test build?  Privacy isn't based on aoe.  It's based on sight and sound.  Distance doesn't matter.

 

A few notes:

- The population monitor only processes about every 5 seconds.  It isn't instant.

- NPCs will remember that the player is at their location for a short time, even when they can't detect the player.

 

In both cases the solution is patience.  For example:

- Player walks into the saloon, walks past Trudy, Trudy detects the player.

- The settler at the end of the bar makes an advance on the player.

- The player asks the settler to follow for privacy.

- The player leads the settler to the restroom.

- Upon arrival and shutting the door, the player keys the settler.

- The settler responds with [Public], and goes back to following.

- The player stands quietly for a few seconds (until Trudy, who just saw the player and the settler walk down the hall starts paying attention to something else).

- The player keys the settler again after 5 seconds and gets the expected [Private] response.

 

Other than that, if you can tell me the location that should be private but isn't, I'll work on it.  I'm getting ready to add persistant privacy markers here soon as well, but those are for the NPC to lead the PC to privacy.

 

EDIT: The only thing I can come up with is the possibility that the player in your case is being stalked.  Of course this technically means you're being observed/followed.

 

This could mess with privacy if the stalker is not the NPC you're trying to be private with.

 

I've tweaked that a bit, and also uncommented the population debug in the latest test build to help narrow things down.

Yes and no.  Yes, that's where all that stuff is going to be.  No, it doesn't have everything from 'options' moved to it yet.  It does all the default presets already though (reservations/matchmaking/orientation).  So if you don't load it for example, Betsy won't be lesbian, the Nashes won't be a married couple, NPCs won't be reserved during vanilla quests, etc.

 

So far I think only Gecko Man and Dawes should be working.

Thank u very much :) Yes I was asking about beta. The game works fine, just sometimes finding privacy is difficult when there a lot of people around. So i was hoping there is a range setting :)

I've tried out the final test build, and it's my newest favorite thing. I'm dying over how fleshed out the interactions are now. Did a booze activity, NPC got drunk, and became one hell of a mean drunk. Insulting, flirting, being a perv, and then once my PC got tired of arguing after being insulted and proceeded to ignore them, was called a snob and then given gifts. 10/10 mod even if it's not totally complete.

lol It's defnitely getting there.  My last session I think I spent more time playing than I did testing for a change.  The esm is absolutely packed with new features (and a few secret settings).  Now I just need to get them all playing nicely together.  Fill in some empty dialog/tracking for the most part, then it should be ready to open up for broad use testing.

It gives me a lot of satisfaction to know that in some small way I had anything at all to do with such a great project, even though somehow I never managed to actually get involved with it. Paths not taken and all that. Good to see you got to play a bit  :)

 

Rather unwittingly I recently grabbed a method from Crusader Kings 2 (opinion modifiers) and started on a free open community framework for NV that should facilitate the 'tagging' of relationships, 'remembering' of inter-character history etc, pretty much anything social that could exist between characters (or pretty much any given form, characters seem like the logical focus of relationships, but you could just as easily store 'my favorite shirt' to an outfit, which... is clothing eval again, I'm modding in circles!). In some aspects, then, very much like Intimacy, now that I think about it, except it won't bother with any content of its own, just the handling. This of course to facilitate a flexible approach to creating content, and maximize inter-mod interaction in that regard. Could be done in a couple of weeks unless drama keeps me from it.

There's a post around here where you can see the light bulb come on after playing SOFO (maybe in the SOFO thread?).  It documents the exact moment when I conceived this project.

 

Intimacy doesn't have any content embedded anymore (the new one).  As you mention, the esm only does the handling.  The rest are just examples to test the esm.  I never expected the generic example dialog to catch on the way it did.  Turns out that most players only need a broad dialog map, then from that they infer their own more specific meanings based on their current circumstances.

 

I still think 'real' dialog is superior.  The catch is that there needs to be a lot of variation along the same categories in order to compete with the players imagination (think 20 versions of flirt dialog).

 

Intimacy is limited by the need for a deeper level of tracking.  Everything is centered on the player.  As I've said before, if there were a way to track 300 NPCs opinion of 300 NPCs without bloating the game to death, I'd be all over that.

 

Granted I could probably accomplish it with time, but I tend to think like an engineer.  Make it work in spite of how complex it is, then simplify.  It would be grand to have full autonomy on an NPC to NPC level though.
