Breasts stretch REALLY far then said npc sometimes goes invisible.

Forgive me if this is an easy fix but I can't seem to find a solution. I have tried the base hdt and the hdt havok system and both of them have the same issue that when an npc crosses through a loading door they're breasts sometimes stretch waaay out and they turn invisible. I can recreate this problem if I visit the Bee and Barb on a new game when Sapphire and Mjoll walk into the tavern their breasts stretch out and sometimes they turn invisible. I'm using xp32 extended for my skeleton (with the hdt option in the installer ticked) and I've used both hdtPhysicsExtensions v14.28 and pclp2014's xml for beginners and they both work fine, I have even gotten the breast collision to work. I'm using cbbe body and I use the CalienteBodyAdvanced TBBP through bodyslide along with ct77's vanilla clothing replacer. I read that ct77's vanilla armor replacer included a file called CalienteBodyAdvanced HDT but the newest version doesn't come with it and I can't figure out how to install the new beta of xp32 extended. I have also tried to install blabba's hdt body and while it makes the breasts look a lot nicer the problem of stretched breasts and the npc disappearing keeps happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've been trying to fix this for hours  :-/ .

I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it but most of the .ini is carried over to my new mod manager profile (which I believe is the only thing that is the same between profiles) that I'm using to test this so I'm thinking the issue might be in there.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? It's happening every time someone with a tbbp armor walks into a room that I am in. I'm thinking this may be a skyrim/skyrimprefs.ini problem because this same problem happened last time I tried to install hdt so if anyone could give me working [Havok] settings or anything to do with hdt/tbbp that would be amazing.

i get this too. i can only tell you that it only happens with some tbbp meshes and not others.

What tbbp meshes would you recommend? I am using the hdt body with xp32 extended with hdt rigging checked in the menu (and I build my body preset with HDT CBBE Bodyslide selected in body slide).

Ive had the same issue since the first versions of HDT physics. It happens less in the new versions then the old versions tho.

And also sometimes breasts spins out of control.

I dont think there is a fix for it. Only solution i found was to save and reload my game.

The problem is saving and loading the game doesn't fix it and neither does re-entering the area, as soon as they reload the tbbp parts of their body stretch out and they fade to invisible.

and with the xpmse skeleton and hdt worked fine but the stretch and fade out still happened. I'm not sure if this helps or is relevant but if I switch hdt's as in between the 14.28 and a havok version I get a random ctd when I start a new game for the first time I launch Skyrim but it seems to fix itself the second time I start the game or if I reinstall the xmpse skeleton which I sometimes have to do.

Edit to edit: I am getting random ctds if I switch hdts as I said above and also if I alt f4 (I have SKSE -Elys- AltF4) I crash the next time I launch Skyrim and start a new game.

I just tried this without my enb or enboost enabled and the same stretch is happening, the only way to fix it has been to save and enter or exit then reenter the area. There has got to be a better way or some way to make it so it doesn't happen to every npc. If someone is successfully running hdt without having npcs go invisible when they go through a load door can you post your .ini files or how you installed because this is driving me nuts.

Edit: It just happened to an npc that was in my fov when I walked through a load door -_-.

I'm at the end of my rope here, the only mods I have installed are

FNIS

. I have generated FNIS for the skeleton, I have HAVOK set to

in skyrim.ini, I have created HDT Bodyslide with CBBE in Bodyslide. I have some general .ini tweaks I have setup through the S.T.E.P project and some mods I've downloaded, I'm also using Mod Organizer on a new profile and I uninstalled my enb and the problem is still happening whenever an npc crosses a load door their hdt areas strech to infinity and they fade to invisible. Does this happen to everyone? Can it not be fixed? I'm losing it trying to fix this  :-/

Get Vilja, (you dont need to have her follow you if you dont like her), you will get a spell "Vilja reset spell". It works great on npcs and in my game will make the npcs who are invisible reappear without a game reload.(also helps other npc issues too) Hope this helps till a real fix is applied to HDT, Reset spell > Game reload

 

If you have Khajitt tail physics installed on top of HDT and your tailed companion disappears it may require you to hit them a couple times with the reset spell, this seems to only be npc's with tail physics. (and proof this is HDT causing it)

 

I have not noticed ANY bugs surface as a result of using the reset spell. Just dont spam it unnecessarily on every npc you walk by.

 

Dunno about hair physics, they are all to filled with horrible jaggies for me to use them

Thank you for the suggestion it seems to work although I was wondering how it interacted with stuff like quests and sexlab stuff like pregnancy or if the npc had devious devices on them, would it reset that stuff as well?

 

Edit: If it helps any I'm testing this at the Bee and Barb in Riften on a new game. When you walk into the city towards the tavern (The Bee and Barb) you trigger dialogue from Mjoll and Sapphire. Once they start talking I walk into the tavern itself and turn to watch the door and either both Mjoll and Sapphire or just Sapphire will walk into the tavern which is when (for me at least) their breasts and butt stretch and they fade to invisible. I have also tested this with Adrianne Avenicci when she walks in and out of Warmaidens in Whiterun and while her breasts and but still stretch super far they snap/bounce back into place after a little bit. Although she doesn't directly walk through the door she seems to teleport either to the forge area or behind the counter at Warmaidens.

Try using the .xml that came with the 14.28 version, without the havok object installed and see if you get the same problems.

 

Also, the weight paint on the body mesh you are using seems to affect this (CBBE, UNP, 7B...) IMHO.  What one person tweaked an xml file for may not work as well on a different body and or different base skeleton.

 

BTW - Just looked at your mods spoiler and you have a lot of script heavy mods installed.

Right now I only have hdt v14.28 installed and there is no havok object and it is still happening. I'm not sure what you mean by the weight paint on the body mesh I was following this tutorial http://www.loverslab.com/topic/28507-how-to-install-hdt-step-1-click-this-an-overly-descriptive-tutorial/ and it says to generate your body with the  CalienteBodyAdvancedTBBP in Bodyslide but because I have the HDT Body (which is weighted better for hdt) I generated it with that instead. As for the script heavy mods do you mean my mod list in the op or my mod list in post #10? I created a new mod organizer profile to see if it was a mod conflict and I only have the mods installed in the spoiler in the 10th post.

I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it but most of the .ini is carried over to my new mod manager profile (which I believe is the only thing that is the same between profiles) that I'm using to test this so I'm thinking the issue might be in there.

i'm having the same issues and posted about it at FNIS. the stretching everyone seems to have gotten since the beginning of hdt, but i'm now getting the invisibility which sucks because it's tough to reset. i've been using disable & enable but it's hard because they're invisible. but they are really still there so u CAN find their names and start dialog, then click on their name in console. but this Vilja spell sounds easier. (thanks for the tip Sexymorpheus!)

must be something about the Riften area that triggers this badly. because i'll have them stretch everywhere (not nearly as much as months ago w/ early HDT), and they'll go invisible at other places around skyrim...but they always have reappeared after some seconds to minutes. but Riften i've had them go seemingly perma invis. i test it going in and out of Riften stables.

the invis may be related to collision, as i recently gave my followers collision necklaces n rings (Mr Troublemaker's). my player does not have collision. i've tried every hdt set i've seen too,

hope a fix is found

Yea Riften is nuts for me but I don't even have collision enabled :\ I'm just using the base hdt v14.28 which is still making them spazz out and go invisible, if it's just Riften then that doesn't seem too bad (although the thieves guild quests are going to be a bitch :P).

When you uninstalled all the mods, did you start a new game or are you still using a save that had those mods in it?

 

I have a real boinked game that I have 2 heavily scripted followers and a lot of scripted mods.  Installing either of the last 2 versions of HDT-PE the followers spaz when going from an interior to exterior cell or exterior to interior one.

Strangely, I have yet to get them to spaz when fast traveling.  I've noticed that UFO, which I use, "redresses" the followers on the first 2 set of cell changes (see green aura on follower) and does not "redress" them on a fast travel.

So, my guess is that it may come down to what UFO is doing to the followers.  My PC hasn't yet had a problem.  I believe you had AFT installed.

 

Active scripts do not go away on a mod uninstall.  Backup your saves and try and use SaveTool (on the Nexus site) on one of you minimum saves and see if that might clean that save up a bit.

Yea I had AFT installed and I'm on a different MO profile starting a new game so there shouldn't be any problems with scripts. In one of my other posts I listed the mods I have installed on the bare bones profile I tried.

The thing that worked best for me was to download pclp2014's havok for pc only (I replaced the hdt.xml files with other ones that I found bounced better) and I downloaded Vijla (For the reset Vijla spell just in case something goes wrong) and I equip myself with the Havok item (It's named something like hdt breast physics) or any npc that I want to have it at the time. Breast collision physics for everyone get really buggy and the reset spell will cover you when hdt itself poops the bed and someone goes invisible.

arg this is driving me nuts. i recently got a mod called Bucephalus. it adds just 1 single horse, and the horse has it's tail HDT enabled. the freakin tail will often stretch to the heavens and the entire horse will usually disappear...permanently. it's kinda like the texture gets attached to one point in space, then the farther the npc, creature, model moves from that space, the texture keeps getting stretched so thin that it eventually disappears.

I get the disappearing female follower as well, but instead of reloading, i just wander in small circles until her name pops on the screen. Dialogue to remove armor from her inventory, and she pops back on the screen, i give her armor back and off we go.  I tried waiting for her to reappear on her own, but she doesn't, nor does transitioning cells always bring her back.

I've got the same problem. I even see it when bandits and such spawn far in the distance (bands trailing through the sky down to the character's boobs, heh.) It doesn't bother me too much except in the area just outside Riften, where my companions tend to spazz out until they go invisible. I've modified many outfit NIFs in Nifscope to use Havok Physics... too many, perhaps?
