Hi there.

I'd like to request these armors as a CBBE HDT Bodyslide.

I've looked around but couldn't find anything about them so far but if they do already exist please let me know.

Thanks!

The way I convert such stuff is as follows:

New Project or Load Project depending on the body

Import -> From nif: to import the outfit either from the mesh-folder or the Caliente\...\shapedata folder.

Now when you move the sliders, the body changes, but the outfit stays the same.

In this state I play around with the sliders until the body fits to the outfit as closely as I can get, so I only have to do some minor touchups later.

Once I'm satisfied that the two bodies are (temporarily) the same shape, I delete the one that came with the outfit.

Following that I write down all the exact slider positions (or make screenshots if that's faster due to using many of them).

Now I go "Sliders -> Set Base Shape"

Then "Sliders -> Conform All"

And then I put the inverse of my written down sliders in (so a 45 will be done as a -45).

Ad then Set Base Shape again.

Now you have the outfit on the default CBBE body (or whichever body you choose).

From there you can do the final touchups if there's any minor clipping, deal with the bone weights and add Zap Sliders if you like.

Though in my case I do my conversions for the CosioHD body that came with the CLAMS of Skyrim. It has the same shape as the CBBE body, but has more polygons and additional sliders... among other things. ^^

Excellent, that saves so much time since I was thinking in maybe edit the mesh all the way down to CBBE default shape. I'll start trying to convert a simple outfit to practice this. Thanks!

Hi

Let me say that my admiration for you 'modders' is beyond bounds. Something that's beyond me by far.

I was wondering if anyone could modify this outfit (MBO 0027 (patreon.com) by Team TAL) so that the shoes didn't leave the legs invisible when not equipped. It's such a gorgeous outfit too. High heels sound would be fantastic.

Thanks in anticipation

I tried to convert this to UUNP but it's not weighted for HDT so the butt clips through the skirt when it jiggles. Copying the bone weights doesn't work because the range doesn't reach the bottom of the skirt, at least not with the version of Bodyslide that I'm using. This probably needs to be manually weight painted.

Copy bone weights only gets you so far....And really most of the time copy bone weight makes the outfit looks terrible.

You can either try to increase the range it copy bones for when you copy weights. You can also mask areas and only copy into areas you want to to cover.

Or you can learn to manual weight paint. Manual weight paint is complicated but really rewarding. Outfits looks alot better by manual repainting them after you copied bone weights.

Hopefully someone with the skill to manually weight paint will convert Necromancer's Outfit because I can't even find a good tutorial to do it.
