The Sisterhood of Dibella LE (February 2023)

Recommended Posts

2 hours ago, santardo said:

that is exactly what i tried in the beginning but i still got the Fjotra child bug on both a new game and existing save. the only way that went away was when i used the sisters file which changes the clothes. I think it must also change Fjotra in some way. But if are using another body then cbbe your your sister will have a seam issue an the neck, wrists, and ankles and if you are useing a 3bbb body you will lose out on the jiggly part ^^

im gonna add my rs patch here in case anybody needs it

!WARNING!

this "patch" was not tested and only made for my personal use so if you run in any issues you are on your own

if this is against any rules will remove it immediately

I am loading my SexLab stuff and extensions after my base skyrim modifications including but not limited to RSchildren

As I haven't tested in-game yet, I just went by a cursory look in xEdit and going on this post:

It's from the person who provided the textures fix patch, so I just assumed he was correct...I've downloaded your patch and when I'm ready to test I'll give it a spin, thanks for that.

The part about using any other body than CBBE is a bit of a bummer, using 3BBB right now...I guess I'll see.

Help me please. The game crashes to the desktop. As soon as I go into the "The inner sanctuary." of the temple of Dibella.
What could be wrong?

"Sorry for bad English."

No surprise to me. ?

It seems you are mixing LE and SE files at random. That's bound to crash.

You are playing Skyrim LE? Get rid of all the Special Edition mods or replace them with their LE counterparts.

And probably you should start building your load order much slower, read each mods descriptions, add them one by one and check if they work for you.

More reading? E.g. start here:

I genuinely didn't think of that. Thanks!

I forgot about Wrye Bash, too (not sure if the others, like Mator Smash, etc. have the same feature).  You can right click on the plugin file and choose "Details".  Will dump out all the records in a little window.  ARMO records would be what you're seeking.  The ARMA records are "Armor Addons", and are related, but what you're looking for are the ARMO records.  You should be able to copy/paste the output from that easier than dealing with xEdit.

I have Skyrim SE. There are no modifications to the legendary edition. I carefully set the mods one at a time. I downloaded most of the modifications from this site + adaptation for my language from a large site in my language. I play TES series games from Morrowind, and I know how to install modifications ?

Now my character is level 40, the Temple of Dibella is the only place where the game crashes to the desktop.

Maybe something is wrong with the boot order?
LOOT arranged this loading order.
Perhaps there are conflicting modifications in the list?

Oh, I'm sorry, it looked like a mixed setup to me! :classic_blush:

If you flip back a few pages, there were  some more similar reports and it might be something broken in the SE conversion if this mod.

And you should have a look in the SSE conversion thread:

In the temple, click on the flower on the Altar. You should have an option to turn off those lights.

No all she talks about is like what is beauty and can you make me beautiful and something about the mystery of the goddess.

In reference to what John741's issue: I have the same one. I joined the temple, rescued Fjotra, found the dead sisters and engaged in physical activity with Fjotra at least 7 times.

I also checked my stages and they were the same: Except for 5 and 10 there was a 0 everywhere. I also was unable to ask Senna about the sibling. I really apreciate your effort. It is incredible good work your doing, and I would hate to give up on this mod, so I beg you to find a solution! Thanks in advance!

After rescuing Fjotra, did you drink from the altar? do you have the Agent of Dibella perk?

There is a small walkthrough on the github wiki if that can help too: https://github.com/SkyrimLL/SkLLmods/wiki/Sisterhood-of-Dibella:-Walkthrough

Yes and yes. I drank and I have the perk. I also discovered the walkthrough, it helped a lot. But I am still stuck at the same situation.

I do not pretend to be disrespectful or even ungrateful, but it would not have been better than all this beautiful artistic work, you would have developed it in an independent temple, that of Markarth, one of the main cities of the game that is affected by many mods. That after Agent of Dibella perk, another temple is activated in another place, with clones of the priestesses with other names. A legal Fiotra for the practices of Dibella, And that all the information to denote the progress of the missions is in the mod through marks, written papers, dialogues. I'm not a modder, nor a coder, nor a programmer, but I do know that modifying exponentially the characters and the original places of the vanilla game is not good, not only for the mod, but for the game in general.

I agree. A lot of the foundations of the mod happened when I was still learning about how Skyrim mods work.

I did a little of that by adding the underground baths as a separate area instead of reusing an existing one.

If I had to start the mod all over again, I would do just that and send the player to a different location.

It is too late to change for this mod but I hope I will remember that when I mod for TES VI.

There is something you can do though, and i personally think it'd be pretty cool. Adding more places of worship around the map popping up once completing the main quest of this mod. Like recruiting and training new sisters that decide to join in after hearing the news of the temple prospering (or being taken over). Or going around trying to recruit sisters. This will give the mod a very conclusive feel with lingering effects on the world. So small temples in the open worldspace with shrines, statues and everything. Or they can be inside a cave or a shack somewhere.

Look, it's pretty obvious from the way i'm writing that i'm not well versed in mod making so all of this might be completely impossible, or too complicated to implement, you'd know better than me, but i'm throwing out ideas anyway since i really love this mod. Let me know what you think.

It is doable.. but it also would require a lot of time to do and test.

Right now, between getting burnt out by work and other obligations, I am using the time I have fixing large bugs and finishing the stories/quests in my mods instead of adding new things. In that respect, The Sisterhood is one of the few mods I have that I consider nearly complete.

Technically it is not that hard.

What makes it hard is that there is no way to troubleshoot things 'in flight'... during the game.

So the result is an endless sequence of : launch the game, test something, it doesn't work, quit, change something in the code, launch the game, etc...

When the game takes about a couple of minutes to launch, and the editor take about a minute to launch, plus remembering to run FNIS, Wrye Bash and other patch systems when needed... it's not a very fun process.

I don't want to be the Devil's advocate here but imo this is a great mod requiring no big changes and DBF should definitely continue to work on bug fixes and planned content without worrying about requests such as this. Issues with other mods can be easily fixed with patches or correct load order. If you don't like a mod changing the base game content then don't install it, but that would exclude 99% of mods!

Edit: as an example I installed a mod that makes big changes to Karthwasten exterior and interior cells. I made a little patch for this mod and all is well. The point here is that no matter how careful you are to avoid conflicts, some other mod will appear that changes something your mod relies upon.

Edit2: the mod in question is The Great City of Karthwasten SSE and I'd be happy to share my patch if folk want. It just moves a few items around in the cells so that they can be found.

I hope that what I told you at the beginning, did not make you believe that I do not value the immense work you have done. It was never my intention, and if so, I strongly apologize. What I see is that, from the aesthetic and artistic point of view, you interpreted in a sublime way as it should be, or as it should have been, the Temple of Dibella. What leads to falling in love with these statues and the option of sexual robes... at least it happens to me. If you give me permission to ask you for something, it would be an artistic-visual change, and the Dibella tunics for the girls, just that. I appreciate your time immensely.

No problem at all :)

I didn't take any of these comments as a negative.

I set up the outfits for the sisters in dedicated folders. If you extract them from the BSA file, you will be able to replace them to whatever style and body mesh you want. Just preserve the names of the files from Sisterhood.

It's me one more time. Is there hope for my problem? Or should I give up? If it isn't fixable that's fine, I would just like clarity. I hope, that you found a solution!

In my tests, the following is usually working:

1- Bring Fjotra back and talk to Hamal

2- Drink from the altar and get the Agent of Dibella perk

3- wait until Fjotra has 5 lessons with Hamal (automatic scenes every day in the temple) or have sex with her until she glows blue 5 times

4- Talk to Senna and ask her how Fjotra is doing.
