Oh btw, after I replace the old ESM with the new, it seems other sexout plugins stopped working, such as the pregnant body dosent display anymore, nor any sex action would be triggered.

Thats odd; the .ESM is independent from sexout and doesn't have any interaction/dependencies so it shouldn't make any difference to any of them.

 

Did you upgrade anything else at the same time (especially SCR/Pregnancy Betas)?

 

Otherwise sexout and its mods sometimes get broken for various reasons (completely or just in specific instances), have you tried loading an old game where it definitely worked before and checking that?

Instead of the version of SpectrumsToyPack that is mentioned you might try this version found here.

This version is complete and you can choose the esp version or the SCR version depending on the need. Both packs are a single download and the data files are packed into BSA's for ease of use. These aren't my files I have uploaded them at Halstroms request for SCR.

 

Odessa, Let me know if you need a different BSA naming for this mod. Something like "Another-Kick-In-The-Head - SpectrumToyPack" If so I can place it in the same downloads for your users. Although I believe the SCR version would work just fine if you are referencing SCR for the toypack.

@ Bashis: I don't think there is a way to make it activate on actual death, so yes- you have to survive the hit, at 5% it won't happen very often because you'll die first.

You can adjust the knockout chance as well as health threshold though.

What is the issue with other mod interference?

I agree that there is probably no way to activate on actual death but,... Perhaps there is a way to script the mod to make it so that you have a minimum of 1 Hp at all times and cannot go below that limit. Then you can have the users set up all the various mods such as combat rape and other mods the way that they need / want to without having to change the normal game play-through.

 

For example you can be raped, attack the rapist loose 40 or more % of your HP and get raped again until you are near death. Black out and then be saved by a hero or drag your sorry ass somewhere safe. If this can be done it will greatly increase the immersion, except you will never die... although you might start to wish you had ;)

 

As you can see this would solve most if not all of the issue with other mod settings.

The standard SCR version of SpectrumToyPack should work fine and sounds like the best way, I use quite a few items in it and may use more in future. I've added the link to OP. Thanks for looking into it.

As for better KO mechanics, I will look into the 1HP idea. Currently a small script runs every 2 seconds to check if you've taken damage, which is rather imperfect. I initially tried to get a script to instead run whenever the player gets hit, but couldn't get it to work properly. Hopefully I'll figure something out.

Glad I could help. The link should help your users not have to download multiple files and perhaps miss one and have trouble.

Also glad you will look into the 1hp idea. I don't know if it can be done but think it should be able to be done. Perhaps one of the other masters of Sexout might be able to help if you post in the Sexout scripting help topic. I understand how difficult scripting can be especially for what you are doing. Keep up the great work.

Sorry it wasnt ur mod thats causing the problem, I deleted sexoutsharedresource esm, thought it wouldnt have affect anything since I still have Sexoutcommonresource, but it has =[

I got some kind of bug. I got knocked off into a dream by the bandits in Primm, and I'm in a dream where there is a casino, and theres your mother, father, and sunny smiles, except the characters are messed up. The father is benny, the mother is doc mitch, and sunny smiles is a flying insect, which I can't interact with. Is there some way around this?

 

Edit: The quest is called Navigate the Warrens of your Mind, if it helps.

That sounds like its supposed to be- talk to Father, talk to Mother, talk to Father again and then you should be able to figure out what to do next. You can't talk to Sunny, she just buzzes around- its intended to be a surreal dream

It is a bug.

 

I modified xander root to run a test script when you eat it for development purposes, I meant to remove this for the release but evidently I forgot this time. There might also be an issue eating irradiated yum-yum devil eggs.. (if for some reason you did..)

 

Do not eat Xander Root in current (August 18) release of this mod

 

crafting etc with it is fine, just don't eat it raw. I will have a fix in next version in a day or two.

Uploaded a new version which fixes Xander Root issue, and getting stuck in floor in two places and various other bugs

 

Also almost completely rewrote central knockout system. I have added a blacking out effect when health gets low, and further damage is greatly reduced (to prevent dying) instead causing the knockout effect. It works much better, and should help some peoples mod compatability issues.

I'm sorry, but how does this mod works?

 

I went to fight random ennemies (Geckos, Powder dudes, police outpost raiders), and nothing happened. I had never been KO'ed .

 

I already have all the required Sexout stuff (NG, SCR, etc...) and other sex mods I tried workes well (or near of it), like SewerSlave, Vault 3.

 

I can see the MCM menu, and the news settings of the very last version, but no blackout visual effect, and no knockout effect too.

 

Do I need something more to get your mod working. It looks to be so awesome, I would be really dissapointed i  I couldn't try it.

The settings are adjustable, but by default you get a blacking out message and effect when your health drops below 18%, any subsequent hits have a 50% chance to cause a knockout.

 

If your health gets to 0 you still die as in vanilla game (there isn't really a way around for that), so enemies who do a lot of damage per hit may still kill you most of the time- which is more common at the start of a new game.

 

As a guide, the heart beat sound FX starts when your health is below 20%.

 

Also, the default rape KO chance for the sexout extension is small without having very low health and/or being on chems.

Played with july28 version, some side notes:
wish there'd be [may be rough] check against waking in previously "not-visited" areas. For example, pc wake near the King (room with dancing stage) but she never entered their house before - so both doors are 100% locked. Well it still possible to wait until the King decides to go bed and sneak out with him..
Another event, with just started pc catched by deathclaw near limestone quarry, then waked at mcCarran, that may be called as unwilling cheat jump ;) .

Yeah, I've been meaning to do that, can probably just disable McCarren before you get some map marker (McCarren, Freeside or 118 would probably work), and move the King wake point to a different room. Its also a bit awkward with Primm.

 

I may make some regions have no hero except Mysterious Stranger like the quarry and far North/North East, because there isn't really anyone friendly nearby

 

There are some more shaders in the current release, its something I'm looking into

Absolutely none of the events you talk about happened.

I died in the "classic" way. No heartbeat sound, ni blackout. It''s just like the mod is not effective.

I play in very easy, so even in level 1, a random ennemy need 20 bullets to kill me, and more if he got a hand weapon instead. So, I don't think it's because I died too fast, but more a problem with my mod list.

I will retry with a totally new game (even the one I used had a few minutes of game, just to go to the first ennemies zone I found).

EDIT:

Just tried a new game, went to the Gecko group just south of GoodSprings (new game, just after leaving Doc Mitchel's house. So, I didn't went to speak to anyone else in the village.).

And sadly, no mod activation. I noticed that in the MCM, the mod menu is now in the first row, but still not active. I let the default settings to try the 1st time, but nothing happened.

 

And I really have no idea about what could cause the problem. I don't have too many mods activated (only the main Sexout mods and a few others, for hair, etc...).ù

 

EDIT 2: Maybe it's beacuse it's too early in the game, to let the mod being activated?

The heart beat sound FX is from the vanilla game, so if you don't ever hear it suggests you either have some other gameplay mod interfering or your health went from 20+% to 0. What non-sexout mods do you have, can you post your load-order?

 

Also can you try setting the threshold to 30%, chance to 100% and enable debug. Then find out how many HP you have (from pipboy, example 180/180) and type into the console:

 

Player.DamageAV Health X

 

Where X is enough HP to bring you down to 10% health

 

Then close console and wait 10 seconds, open it again and tell me if there are any messages there.

 

If there are no messages, type 'Player.DamageAV Health 2', wait 5 seconds and check console for messages again

EDIT: I started a new game with absolutely no mod (but yours!), and still no heartbeat sound! (And no message in the console).

Damn, I wonder how I can't have this feature. Because I play in very easy, without Hardcore mod?  That's... weird!

 

EDIT 2: I stared this new game a second time, but with an old Data folder (I always create a save of all the game data, when I know it works, before adding a new big mod. It help to make a U-turn, with the new mod broke everything). I heard the heartbeat, but nothing more, and no message in the console. Only texts were about Tryout mod, and the PG dude I was fighting.

The heart beat sound isn't part of my mod, its from the vanilla game so if you're not hearing it it suggests your health didn't get below 20%, which I think is 5 bars on the health meter.

 

Are you dying a lot?

 

Just to be clear:

- The mod appears in your MCM menu, and the 5 settings are adjustable?

- On loading a game a message appears saying "Another Kick in The Head August 30 Version Loaded" in the corner?

- You definitely enabled debug in the MCM, because there will be no console messages without it?

- Using 'Player.DamageAV Health X' to bring you down to 2 HP in pip-boy does nothing even after 5 seconds?

On another note, I haven't ever used the PlayerSlave Alpha mod, but reading the description it says it triggers based on 'player.setrestrained' with currently no extra checks. This is definitely going to cause problems with this and many many other mods (as he has stated its a WIP for testing only). I would suggest not using both together until he releases a more stable version

-Yes, I see all the settings available in the MCM.

-Yes, I saw the message about the 30 August version. But I saw after something about Robar stuff. Is it normal?

-Yes, I ckecked the debug option in the MCM. I see no message during the game (I mean, other than the ones when I start the game), and no message too when I open the console.

-I start a game with 180HP, and with you console command "Player.damageav health 168", I let me girl with a few HP. I see the message "Take a Stimpack!", but nothing more. no blackout effect.

 

 

 

I already tried without the Player Slave mod, as you said it, but sadly, no change.

I really have no idea about what could block me.

To improve AKH resistance against BrutalRapers-alike mods you can add playerREF to SexoutListBannedActor when your module "do scenes" -- all BR i've seen do not stalk victims from it. I see it in such way (and sorry for chewing to evident details - i wish the best to this mod):

0) when akh-event starts, check if playerREF is in SexoutListBannedActor (using NX_isInList preferably) and ,if yes, refrain from sex content;
1) if not, mark some "antiBR" variable for youself and add playerREF to SexoutListBannedActor;
2) do akh-scene until end - no any BR-interruption must occur;
3) on finish, check that "antiBR" and restore player's non-banned status.

EDIT: i know you already use such formlists, but i got BR still breaking some akh-scenes (namely, 'mortimer-like' man in "el-ray"). i won't drop (my)BR because it's the only mod what spices my gameplay now.

@emo877: What does AKH stand for? I assume what you're getting at is scripts breaking? There are loads of protections against it, most of the characters and locations in (non-sex) dreams I have added to the banned list, if one of the heroes' dialogue gets interrupted by BR or Tryouts (or anything else) my mod picks up on it and retries when its over, if the player controls are disabled (usually by having sex) then my scripts wait whenever it would be an issue. Older than current version of plugin did not have all of these checks.

 

I have always been running SexAssault while testing, I can't add the player to the banned actors in the hotel room, because that is a sex dream and I have scripted it to start sex myself. While testing I have had stalkers interrupt him but he always just has sex again after he's finished and then it works as normal, and there is a check specifically for this. What exactly is happening, and are you definitely using the August 30 version of both the .esm and sexout extension .esp?

@SkatingJeus: The 'Robar' mention in sexout/DLC extension plugin load message is normal... I forgot to change it.

It seems very odd, I just started a new game and it works as soon as I leave Doc Mitchel's house.

 

Could you try typing into console:

 

GetQuestRunning XX000ADD

GetQuestRunning XX002D9D

 

Where XX is the the load order of 'Another-Kick-in-the-Head.esm'

 

If either of these returns 0, please let me know, and if so then try (with debug enabled) 'StartQuest <as above>' after a moment a message should appear in console (and it should work..)
