Can you tell me what skin texture you are using in these? I just started messing around with CBBE in FNV and all of the textures I used in Skyrim look pretty bad in FNV. These ones actually look pretty good.

 

The face looks great too, is that a custom mesh?

 

I just started playing FNV and there is a bit of a learning curve compared to Skyrim/FO4. My game looks like hot garbage right now.

Those textures in that pic are the ones included with AJ's mod I think. I used Fair Skin textures for my character now. As for their faces, they are some that I did from various mods as masters- custom faces that I can't share due to permissions.

I wasn't looking to borrow assets, but can you point me in the right direction as far as creating a character that actually looks good? Every Bethesda game starts out looking like garbage until you learn the tricks. (Japanese race mods for Oblivion, Racemenu for Skyrim, Extended Facial Sculpting for FO4, etc...) I just haven't found FNV's tricks yet. I've figured out hair & eyes, and built my own custom CBBE body and Bodyslides that are able to use Type3 textures (better compatibility right now until more mods use CBBE meshes) but I haven't figured out exactly how to fix the face problem yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Think there are some custom head meshes floating around that can help some should be in FCO maybe NVR3 and I think ZZjay has a mod too not sure.

EDIT: Woah, I logged out, viewed the images you posted and found that you had made a sticky post. You... think I'm a dumb troll? And a Moron...? That's... kinda rude, I was just asking a genuine question, a question not intended to hurt your feelings. I mean, for all I knew, your character was transgender or something, not that there isn't anything wrong with that, I just wanted to get your two cents on it. If it makes you feel better, I'll apologize, but I think you should know beforehand that you have the wrong idea with the intentions of my original post.

thanks I spent all of last week making custom textures.

this week I want to do armor stuff. I was doing a Tribal mashup

in Outfit Studio but sadly everytime I try the armor on

which I use as a replacer I ctd.

Looks great! What I have found out is that I can't separate parts of a nif in a project. I have tried and tried, but, when I break outfits up- my game ctd's like you said. You can zap shit all you want though.

 

I did this with some of the Dead Money outfits. This is Christine if you didn't recognize her. She's wearing the Assassin Suit in these (whats left of it lol).

I also made this cool hentai style customization to T51 armor. But I had issues, I

wanted to mask and delete the vertices of the body that we arent going to see

like legs, tits, and arms but when I did its CTDs in game so I had to settle for

mangling and cramming her legs, arms, and tits in. I wanted to share it because

FONV lacks Skyrim's skimpiness but at this state I dont feel like its worth sharing,

I need to polish it up somehow

 

also do you know what determines the gloves your character wears in relation

to the equipped armor? I couldnt figure that out on my own
