Old SexLab Submit - (Merge into the current Submit thread?)

I'm not sure any of that is relevent to my mod.

 

The only MCM functionality I currently have is a (nonfunctional) hotkey designation.  (Still on the fence on how to make a hotkey work that doesn't wind up feeling like the "MLA Rape Spell" that I was never fond of, so I have yet to decide if I wanted to rework the mod to utilize a hotkey)

 

At any rate, I think you might have meant the over all SexLab Framework suggestion thread?

 If a hotkey was implemented, it would be for the sole purpose of stopping combat so that you can even initiate dialog.

 

(My current method works, but I'm not terribly fond of it because it involves ~20 different vanilla entries with ~20 different papyrus fragments, 1 for each.  It's cumbersome and prone to mod conflicts if anything else touches those same files.  But, it at least seems to work and seems relatively stable.)

 

Nothing else in the mod would change.  Everything from that point on would be via dialog.

I think there may be some conflict between your mod and either dual sheath redux and or the Ningeim race, possibly some others. I suspect it could possibly be the Ningheim mod causing the problem, as I had problems with it and ECE, but I'm not positive. I know that if I install your mod it works as intended. However, the game no longer recognized the dual sheath redux patch and my characters face disappears leaving his hair, eyeballs, and teeth floating above his shoulders and I'm switched to the vanilla nord race. It also acts like I just started the game over. Courier appears telling me to meet the Jarl of white run, all my skills reset, all the mcm settings of my mod reset to default, followers are dismissed, and a good chunk of my inventory disappears. I can reset my face using the alternative racemenu shout. But if I log out at all or load a game it does all the above again.

 

I remove your mod from my load order and it's all just fine again. Everything is as it should be.

 

Here's my load order in case you'd need it. I'd love to keep your mod in the mix, because I do enjoy it. But can't as my mod list stands.

Can I make a suggestion to turn off the IsPlayableRace flag? This seems to conflict with Dawnguard vampires, preventing the dialogue option from appearing.

 

I was afraid of that.  I couldn't remember if the IsPlayableRace flag was any race that had the "playable" flag checked, or if only included the default vanilla Skyrim races and not ones added through mods, including official ones like Dawnguard.

 

Because apparently without the flag, other random things can allow the dialog prompts, as was reported earlier in the thread.  I suppose I could try IsActor == 1 instead?

 

[Edit] Okay, I see the playable 'races' have the flag "ActorTypeNPC", so I imagine I can do a check for that.

 

[Edit2] HasKeyword 'ActorTypeNPC' == 1 is the winner.

Hrm, I don't know how my mod could affect a race mode, because I don't touch any of the vanilla Skyrim race files nor do I add anything new race related.

 

As to the dual sheath mod, I don't know what that mod even does to even begin to guess how mine could conflict.  I know I edit ~20 dialog files, all of which are contained within DialogGeneric/Combat/ Flee or BleedOut (which is why I am looking into a hotkey alternative as a mechanic to drop combat to begin dialog), and also WIKill05, setting the duration of the 'mourning' period from 240sec to 30sec.

 

Beyond that, everything else should pretty much be brand new custom files.

 

(ps) Jeebus, that's a lot of mods.  I only run with ~20-ish mods total!

Mostly armor and texture change mods. I admit I have a problem, but I got them to all work.

 

I wouldn't know what would have done it either. But the only thing I saw was when I added and removed yours. I truly do think it might be the Ningheim race itself.

 

There was someone on the Sexlab forum who describes issues similar but not exactly like mine. So no idea.

 

Thanks for the response. I'll be mucking around disabling mods and testing and might find out what it is.

 

Dual sheath looks at the armor and clothing in the game and makes a patch so that you can have the crossed swords, daggers, shields, and staves on your back.

 

I thought maybe it interfered with stripping somehow? But I'm no where near knowledgeable about the mod creation process to know, so these are just stabs in the dark.

Well, from that description of the dual sheath, nothing I have made should conflict with that, because I touch nothing regarding items, item slots, characters, etc.

 

And when it comes time to actually do the stripping and make with the sexin's... I just call a built in SexLab Framework function, so if that was the culprit, ANY SexLab mod would have that effect.

 

I hear what you're saying about it seeming to happen only when my mod is active, but I am having a hard time seeing how the small handful of things I affect could be the culprit on this one.

What version of dual sheath are you using ?? Also make sure SkyProc Patchers/ is correctly applying everything.after that it should function correctly. This mod is not making anything that could disrupt dual-sheath itself.

 

I had allot of problems getting dual sheath to work right with SUM combined with ASIS.

  • 26MAY13, ~0100 CST:

  • Corrected the check I was making for viable races to HasKeyword 'ActorTypeNPC' == 1, so that should allow all fitting races, custom and default, to be valid for the check now.

I spent the past several nights trying to get the "combat breaking allow dialog to be intitiated" to be done in several manners that didn't involve changing the default Skyrim 'Flee' and 'Bleedout' dialogs, but I just wasn't able to make it work.  So for now I decided to just let it remain as is so that I could spend more time actually playing the game instead of losing more time struggling with futility.  As such, there were no really compelling MCM features requires, so I removed those.

Repackaged the mod using a .BSA, which means that all of the scripts & sources from previous versions can be deleted which means now you only have to worry about a total of 2 files to update: The ESP and the BSA.  (All of the scripts and sources begin with "_SLSubmit" if you want to delete them manually.  I would recommend this.)

I changed the mod to utilize a 'Blocking' dialog, so if you meet the parameters of the mod (<=20%), then my mod should take over and disallow the ability to see any other dialog options.  Hopefully, this will make it work better with SexLab Romance and such by not having both dialog options available when it is obvious you aren't trying to initiate romance :P

 

I think this breaks the Paradise Halls - Skyrim Slavery mod.

That isn't entirely surprising after glancing at the write up for that mod, since it relies on the NPC being <= ~20% health and all, just like mine.

 

But, if people don't mind still seeing potentially "odd" dialog options still popping up after you just beat someone down in order to have your way with them, then for those people:

  • 26MAY13, ~1600 CST:
  • Made a 'Non-Blocking' dialog version for any that use other mods that could possible conflict with dialog when the NPC in question is <= 20% health.  Since I am primarily making this mod for myself and am just sharing with any interested, and I don't use any of those mods that would conflict, I will only do further development on the 'Blocking' style dialog.  Due to how 'blocking' dialog tends to require an extra tier of dialog, it isn't as simple as just checking the box for Blocking vs Non-Blocking, and each time you change between the two types it requires changing the entire structure of the dialog trees.  Which, quite frankly, is a pain in the ass that I won't be repeating.

The description of PH is a bit outdated.

If you have an NPC down to a certain health and hit him / her with the whip it will be automatically "replaced", kinda hard to describe so I suggest you have to test it for yourself.

 

I am not really inclined to try to chase down every possible mod out there that might not play well with this and try to customize this to fit with everything, especially on mods I have no intention of using personally.  Removing the Blocking and making the dialogs Topic only completely removes the chance that this will conflict with others.  (Unless another mod utilizes Blocking and a similar condition, in which case, we've gone full circle :dodgy: )

 

That being said, I believe I stated on the first page that I give full permission if other people want to take the base mod and tailor make it to suit X, Y, & Z mods out there, or just incorporate it or parts of it into a larger mod package.  Just give proper credit, and then go crazy with it.

1.6b although I don't think I'm using SkyProcPatchers. I'll do some more research on it, and post elsewhere, as not to derail this thread as I feel like you guys are right about the conflict not being in here unless it's some weird secondary mod issue.

  • 31MAY13, ~2140 CST:

  • Added an option to rob the NPC if you talk to them again after successfully raping them.  I was playing Skyrim myself the last few days, using Spaceman's Romance mod on the nice city folk, and my mod on the jerk-ass bandits/necros/etc that tried to attack and rob me.  I realized that on the latter groups, after I had my way with them, I didn't necessarily want to kill them, yet I still wanted to loot them!  So, I added this feature to the mod that allows you to take anything from them you want after you've had your way with them at least once.  I didn't figure this would be game breaking, since in Vanilla Skyrim I would have just killed and looted their body anyway.

My _SLSubmitBleedOut## and _SLSubmitFlee## scripts were massively redundant, but thought they were necessary, due to the CK not allowing you to reuse scripts in fragments.  Then I realized I could effectively juggle the scripts with some renaming, so I trimmed out about ~20 redundant scripts.  Everything has been packed in a .BSA for the last few updates, so it makes little different to installing/uninstalling, however if you are wondering why the file size decreased with this update, that is why.

  • The chief reason I changed the mod to utilize 'Blocking' dialogs was to avoid having the other SexLab mod I use, Spaceman's Romance, from showing up when dealing with bandits/necros/etc.  However, that is a rather heavy handed approach to the problem, and one that is prone to breaking other mods, and even just some default game sections.  So, I reverted the mod back to being non-Blocking, Top Level only, and simply edited my copy of SLRomance to do a Health% > 20% check so it will use that mod on the nice town folk, and my mod on the hostile NPC's out in the world.  The Blocking version was removed.

I just ran it again on some poor unsuspecting NPC, and I had no problem drawing my weapon and using it after the first rape, subsequent rapes, and robbing them.  Considering that the actual "sex" part just uses the SexLab Framework, and my mod is really just the 'window dressing' that sets the stage to start the sex animations, I don't believe my mod in particular would be the culprit.

 

I will say that I have had the random wonky thing happen via the Framework, like appearing a thousand feet in the air after the sex when I should have rag-dolled and falling to my death, and one time I had my weapon get stuck in limbo state when I tried to sheath it too late to avoid the camera lock up or something (wasn't able to replicate it, so I wasn't too concerned, that's what quicksave/load is for :P) so I suspect it may have been something like that.

 

Unless you are saying your weapon gets stuck EVERYtime no matter what, in which case I would have to ask if it got stuck when you ran other SexLab based mods, like Romance or Matchmaker.

 

As to the question, sorry, I don't know of a console command that would help there.
