Thanks for the warm welcome! Well I guess It's fine and I'm glad that we both share the same interest on The Witcher and other RPGs :blush:

Hi there! been lurking around for some time and finally got the courage to join. Thus far, i have only used Nexus but now i want to try these so-called adult mods.  Hope Jesus won't mind (would he ?) Family is strict catholic so i feel i am on a very forbidden site right now. At times like these, being of an Atheist background would have been the best. No worries of going to hell~ 

 

But i am curious about this place. I know i should be spending some more time with that old-fashioned wifey of mine but i suppose some occasional distractions are also important in life.

I suppose i should have given this site much more weight.

Been around here and although alot stuff are ok, some ''Just a few'' (I like most of them) go over my limits and ''Thats what made me just a visitor'' I was blind!

 

I was blind because i didn't see that this is a place with really Adult and Adult thinking people and a reasonable community.

 

This will sound funny but ''Nexus made me realize it'' If you know how selective they are in ''Censorship'' (Just take a look at their last announcements with the ''Collections'') you propably understand what i mean. I am so angry with many of the Nexus moderators and the Site Owner. Many are bad personalities. I am done with them.

 

I was also banned speaking out against their selective censorship with propper, reasonable and non-insulting words and as usual their excuses are a joke...

 

Many Veteran modders are starting to leave, because the new policy they announced effectively makes Nexus profit from ''Stolen property'' I recently started to use modding tools and developed an understanding and i hope i can one day share my ideas by providing quality content.

 

Only thing i am worried about is where the more non-adult mods, you know (quest stuff or retextures) will go who leave Nexus. These guys are desparate for an alternative. We'll see.

Glad to hear such a positive impression of LL!   This site is, for lack of a better term, still very much a labor of love for Ashal and the others.     We do have some spirited debate, but the "don't be a dick" rule seems to be applied fairly equally.   

 

As for hosting of non adult content, I am sure some of it could be hosted but, that is like putting a vlog about new kinds of firearms on a porn web site.    To be everything to everyone, tends to bring in folks who believe that there way is the only acceptable way.  

 

IN any event, I am sorry to hear about your experience with Nexus.  I still like their tracking function and my mod has done well there, but I try to keep a very low profile and long ago stopped criticizing vortex.

 

I look forward to seeing some of your mods here!  BTW, non adult mods are as welcome as the adult ones.

There are requirements to be met before you can edit your avatar. They have changed over time and I can't promise I have them correct but it is something like being here a week and making 5 posts. Here's how you can tell you are no longer restricted. Notice the small round open hand icon over the top right of what is your current avatar? When that disappears you should have access to everything Members can do.

This is a basic technique many forums employ besides rudimentary 'in-engine' security.  It kinda ensures that the person isn't here to merely cause problems altering their profile signature (or like material) or using the forum's Private Messaging system to deliver advertisements, spam, warez or other nefarious content.
