@scsnr : Scour the SexoutLust thread for the Lust HUD.  The only one that worked for me is the 'anyHUD' one which is buried among the posts (not in the OP).  You'll also have to setup the menu files in data/menus.  Instructions are in that Lust thread.

This mod conflicts with UHNV.  Load SOFO, talk to any computer on the wall inside the Underground Hideout, game crashes.  Unload this mod, and the UHNV computer works again.

I only have to access the computer inside the UHNV once to set some initial settings.  Confirmed that if you access the computer, set your hideout settings, order some ammo via the Crim Caravan console, then load SOFO after, works fine (as long as you don't have to access the computer again).

@scsnr: The Lust HUD is from the Lust thread (pHud). I'm a bit confused whether you want the player to sell groceries to, or buy them from Trudy. I'm all for a few little additions here & there, but I'd also like to stress that from time to time the player just oughta get out and do some adventuring. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Thanks for your enthusiasm, btw - the same goes for everyone else; just because I got a little grumpy with the early bugs doesn't mean I don't appreciate it.

@T3589: If you mean Underground HideOut , I just downloaded and had a quick view at the core esp in FNVEdit; nothing jumped out. Can you provide a full LO in a spoiler?

EDIT: on closer inspection, Underground Hideout seems to add a greeting with a topic in the "addtopic" box, in dialog with what seems to be the house computer AI. This is a known source of conflicts with other mods using the "greeting" topic since Oblivion: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php/Fixing_the_AddTopic_Bug Can you see if following the guidelines there fixes your problem?

Thank you for reply. :)

I wanted to say you 'Player' 'buy' groceries from Trudy (or Chet). Sorry for my frustrating English... :P

First of all, I also think that player have to exprience some adventure.

But in some cases, such as Cooking, ordinary people may don't need to do eciting adventure to get some  groceries sush as meat, pepper, carrot and potato to make a Binghorner Stew.

If some contents for initial player are added, all of the player have to get out for adventure, becuase FNV is not a household game...

There's my LO.  Just did a major overhaul a few days ago, so some things are probably askew.

I haven't had a chance to confirm using the guide - Correct Link?: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Fixing_the_AddTopic_Bug

But you're right it's definitely the greeting dialogue from the H.E.I.D.I ?  computer.  I've tried above and below it though and both crash on dialogue.  I don't see it as a major issue personally as UH is my starting point right off the bat anyway.  I use Alt Start so I don't see the good people of Goodsprings until after I touch the hideout base.

If I start a new game, I'll see if the fix works using the method in the link and report back.

Link to comment

@scsnr: I don't mind adding some more food. It's not gonna be a priority for me though. Other than providing support for what there is, I'm taking a vacation.

@t3589: Can you see if the version of SOFO in the attachment to this post makes it go away? If it does, I'll upgrade it to the main release, but it still won't prevent UHNV causing similar problems with other mods.

(EDIT: deleted attachment, fix didn't work, but is part of upcoming update anyway)

Link to comment

Roger that.  Downloading now.

You know, I didn't post this so that you would fix it.  Didn't mean to lay it on you like that.  Was more of a heads up really.  I already had the work around.

Very cool mod btw.  You know it's a good mod, when you stop playing the main game quests just to hang out in Goodsprings.  UHNV has become my PCs second home (storage).

OK, tried it twice.  Once from a fresh start and once in my current save.  Still crashing.  Doesn't crash until you click on the dialogue though.  I think before it was instantly crashing as soon as it popped up.

I'll look into that guide here tomorrow sometime and see if I can edit the UHNV mod as they direct.

On a side note: Funny story.  I went thru the Doc dialogue where you ask him if he notices something different about your PC.  Turns out he was referring to the characters wardrobe.  I thought he was referring to the fact that the character was prego.  It would be ultra fine if he could recognize that like he does clothes.

EDIT: Confirmed still crashes even if you don't click it, just wait long enough and it CTDs.  This with the latest version of UHNV 4-4.  I guess I could roll back to 4-3 and see if things get better. Will report if so.

Link to comment

I'm stumped, which is nothing new.

After doing some testing and a little research I'm convinced it's not the dialogue that's crashing it at all.

Here's what I know:

1. Every reported instance of this exact problem happening with other mods that conflict with UHNV is the result of a script conflict, not the dialogue bug (without any solutions other than to unload the conflicting mod, that I can find).

2. Rolled back to v4-3 UHNV still crashes (using the esp above and the orig).

3. Nothing is evident in FNVedit.

4. If I unload SOFO this problem disappears.

So I'm at a loss.  If you have any suggestions I'm willing to try them.  I think both of these mods are well worth it.

Frankly, if your mod had item sorting/storage, a way to reproduce food (garden), and a cooking spot (stove), I would ditch UHNV in a hot minute and station this PC at Docs place.   Sadly I have several PCs, some of whom aren't females, and they need their base.

I'm not requesting those things, but I think it says a lot about your mod when it's a conflict to keep it or one of the most popular all time mods ever.  Just IMO.

I guess I could just turn off this mod or visa versa for that particular playthru.  I don't know...  Poopy!

EDIT: Does SOFO have a working stove already?  I remembered some talk about cooking.  Is that stove in Docs place suppposed to work?  If so, I don't get the prompt when I hover over it anywhere.  I'm prob just grasping at straws.

EDIT EDIT:  Tried the AddTopic work around to confirm it isn't that bug.  Still no joy.

Link to comment

Well, the addtopic thing was the only thing that looked like a likely suspect to me. Other than the changes to Doc's house, SOFO's pretty self-contained. I did spot the post in the UHNV thread where that particular bug was attributed to a vendor's script in another mod, but far as I can tell, that may not be correct: I don't see anything in there that seems to suggest so. What the mod in question (ZL Armaments) does have is a greeting topic for the vendor. So my gut still tells me that's where the problem lies. Perhaps you need to test the workaround with a UHNV-clean save. Other than that, there are a few other problems with UHNV - heavy on video memory, possibly heavy on AI with the mannequins... Could be a combination of a few different things - the more ambitious a mod, the more likely the game's gonna go "Nah-ah!" at some point.

In order to cook, you gotta activate the list of chores. Make sure you check the fridge when you're done - occasionally something may have ended up there from your inventory that shouldn't have (any mod-added aid item that lets you set options for something and isn't flagged as a quest item).

Link to comment

Yeah it is baffling.  I've been up and down both mods in the geck and I can't find any reason for it.  I've tried UHNV every way it can be loaded btw.  With/without DLC, without mannequin, fresh new game, etc.  Doesn't make sense.

I didn't know there was a list.  Must have slipped by me in the OP.  Though I had noticed Doc talking about finding it, I didn't know it was mentioning an item in the house somewhere.  I thought he had the list (piece of paper he often reads).

The reason I asked about cooking is that accessing the UHNV computer for the first time sets off some of the initial scripts for the hideout.  Among those scripts the only thing even similar to the functionality of SOFO is the cooking stuff where it sets up the stove in the hideout.

Link to comment

Well, the cooking's all in a spell script, and the stove itself is just a copy of vanilla, nothing that can conflict. As it is, I feel I can do little else than add a note to the compatibility section.

List of chores, people not knowing how to progress at times: I know there's not a lot of hand-holding when it comes to this mod - I fear even a moderate amount of it in-game, like quest targets, might break immersion, and I didn't want to give everything away in an oversized OP. That said, I'm not against dropping a hint every once in a while.

Dialog for pregnant PCs: there are a lot of different things you and he could say or do about it, depending on the nature of your relationship, your character, your history so far, who or what the daddy is... I'd have to have lines in place for every variation of that. It's all or nothing, so at the moment it's nothing.

Link to comment

Right I came to the same conclusion yesterday.  Going to turn off UHNV for that PC and try AWOP for her.  Puts a decent player home right next door to Doc's house.  I'm prob asking for trouble so close to Goodsprings.  We'll see.

I agree, I like not knowing everythnig.  I'm just so dim sometimes.  I took the dialogue 'The list is lost' to mean 'The list is gone and therefore, doesn't exist for you to find'.

10-4 on the prego dialogue.  It shows how good the notice clothing dialogue was though.  That I clicked it thinking 'Here's the part where she has to explain how she got pregnant....sigh'. lol

Link to comment

1,2,3 & 4 are pretty much ready. There's always room for more freeform stuff, of course. And if I ever add stuff like preg dialog each path will need its own.

Sensuality is mostly increased by flirting, wearing sexy stuff (clothing eval), dancing, a few other things.

Compassion's increased by showing that you care when he has a hard time, also by doing household stuff.

Companionship's increased by a lot of different things. The more you talk to him, the more it adds up.

They all add up pretty quick, and the threshold for unlocking the sexual relationship isn't very high. There's one more stat called "movingon" which is increased when you get him to look less to the painful past and more to the present and future. That one's a little harder to increase.

These counters only really matter to paths 1,2,3.

Tip of the day:

- 2 "movingon" conversations are sitting conversations. One of them only in the evening.

- path 2 won't progress unless you've gone through the entire 'peeping' stuff.

This proves to be very interesting. Anyone knows of more boyfriend/girlfriend experience related sexout mods? This one is pure gold, but doesn't suit my current character very well, so I'm trying it later with a new one.

Also, I decided to give it a try to see if it works properly on me because some people reported issues, and turns out it doesn't. I can't access the main menu, it just freezes there and I have to shut it down with the task manager. None of the different esp's provided on this thread are helping at all. I'll try disabling other mods to see if anything is conflicting with it, but it would be better if I could solve this problem with my current mods active.

(Just tried it unchecking anything but the files it needs and I'm still having the same issue. Can't be a version issue either because I got all of my sexout related gear like two days ago, so it has to be up to date). I'd appreciate any help, I really want to be able to play with this one.

very cool mod, but I have a problem, whenever the doc follows me to his bed for the first time after the animation plays I get the floating headless body and I think he is trying to say something, this can be fixed by opening the pipboy, but the dialouge has already failed and if I go back to the bed the same thing repeats. I think it is causing the mod to not progess. any ideas?

Yeah, there's a known issue with sex on beds and callbacks not always being stable in the execution, but that takes some changes in NG.

Other than that, I have little advice other than saying to maybe reload an earlier save and try again.

If that doesn't work, I'll need some more information on which scene we're talking about - there are about 8 'first times' in the mod after all. See the "how to get help" section in the 2nd post of this thread.

Found a new issue.  With this mod enabled Doc cannot get the PC pregnant.  Enabled, no semen is ever added (from Doc only).  Disabled, semen is added as per usual.  Is that on purpose?

@k11k27y21k11: I too have had the same issue.  Exiting the game and reloading from save solved it.

EDIT: Tried unloading Lust just to see if it wasn't playing nice.  Same deal.

I should prob add I tested it with hookups since Doc refuses companions and the bedsex in SOFO.  Also tried with the required SCR and latest SCR beta.  Pregv3 hasn't changed.

Tested with StraponSex too.  Still no semen added.

I made the Doc sterile for the time being, yes. Basically that's because I have no dialog in place for pregnancy and the many variables involved, as we talked about before, and I'm not too sure on how to go about a few things like will the Doc take an active role in parenting and how to make that work etc. The way I fleshed out his personality, he should, but that sounds like quite a bit of work so I tied it off rather than doing it half-assed.

If you want to re-enable pregnancy with him, you should prefix these lines from SexoutFleshedOutScpt with a semi-colon:

    ListAddForm SexoutSLActorDataIsSterile DocMitchellRef
    ListAddForm SexoutSLActorDataIsSterile DocMitchell

Der doing!  I had my filter on SOFO and didn't even think to check.  Thank you for confirming I hadn't messed something up. lol

It makes sense to me seeing as how:

a. Doc is old.

b. Preg could get out of hand with the time the mod requires you to spend with this NPC.

c. 10-4 on a lot of extra work.

You know though, what you have here is a terrific base relationship system that if it could be applied globally as a general relationship mod, where modders could plug in their NPC edits to it, it would be AMAZING!
