What log?

I'm looking through the XMLs and seeing tons of different events, which is great, but in game only two ever fire off - punish escaping slave and feed slave, and they only happen when traveling.  That's it.  Nothing happens when I rest in a town where I'm holding prisoners.  Am I doing something wrong?

I know that most events are written for options when you are captured. Create a female character and be captured by the merchant lord ...

It would be nice if all events were applied to captured NPCs

As a captor there aren't many events, but i'll get right on it ;)

That's not captivity logs and the crash is coming from tournaments enchanted based on crash log.

I have no changes related to the tournament. There are tweaks of Bannerlord, but all modifications with tournaments are disabled. If I delete it, the game crashes further.Version 1.4.1.2 works with all available modifications without crashing

I've recently noticed that removing health from the player has stopped working for me too.  Nothing has changed except i think a hotfix from TaleWorlds.  (does giving gold also work in negative btw? i'm currently putting a few prostitute branches in an event and you can't pay all of them with narrative food.)

Edit: Looks like GiveGold doesn't work at all.

Seeing the same thing...selecting "strangle your captor with your chain" doesn't result in either a beating or escape anymore.  I  miss the health reduction for resisting/failed escape because it was like a puzzle for my captive to try to escape - get the health high enough for a shot at escaping while avoiding getting the slavery level too high.

Yes I finally figured out it was Tournaments Enhanced that causeD the crashes. Basically a perfect storm of things that happened to my character. The tourney mod calls for celebration tournaments to be held upon special events. Like peace declared or the birth of a child. However, my child’s father (Lek in this case) was killed in battle making my character a single mom lol. Tournament mod didn’t know how to handle that situation.

Oooooooh, is THAT why I'm getting random map crashes when I'm riding around? Are you saying it crashes when it comes to something with your child? I noticed that when my PC had a baby, there is a "father" listed to the child. Just no idea who the hell he is.

oh the fathers aren't spawned, and are removed as spouses right away. I could spawn them though but doubt it will help. Does the mod not check if spouse is null or spawned?

Although they did say they fixed it in

Crash on campaign

Ok, I think those mods are making a character with no spouse have a child. When my mod checks if the character's spouse owns a settlement (to spawn a tournament), it crashes the game if the character has no spouse. I've made a fix in the code and will be uploading it shortly. Let me know if it resolves the issue.

Thanks!

just don't get caught by bandits/villagers

I'm currently using buypatrols mod that uses military patrols to go around villages, castles, and cities. Will that be a problem? I mean even when i get defeated and escape they run at me since i have a troop count of 1 ,but i destroy them so i don't know what will happen if i get caught by them.

KK im on for awhile if you want me to use a different version to test.

Do you have the newest version of MCM installed?

I found there is something with the new beta versions being split into the three modules, that anything outside of the normal one seems to crash my game on startup.

Missing? Are you missing the escape events? Check if you have a XML Log in Logs. There was a rename of the events so if you are using an old one in a custom file it will conflict with the new ones in their own file

So I'm getting the following error (see photo) on startup. I traced this back to the DefaultCaptiveRequiredEvents.xml and DefaultWaitingMenus.xml

I mean, the mod triggers and everything, just wasn't sure why I'm getting this issue.
