[Rimworld 1.3] RJW Animation Framework

Very nice work! I was inspired to create some additional animations based on the originals :) 

 

I've include the definitions in the code block below if anyone wants to use them. All you need to do is copy-paste the code into a text file, call it something like "Animations_new.xml" and place the new file under 'rimworld-animations-master\Defs\AnimationDefs'

 

Includes an animation for 

- sixty-nines

- butterfly (woman on back, man standing / kneeling)

- boob job

- hand job

- foot job

- fisting

- fingering

- cunnilingus

- rimming

- mutual masturbation

 

Note that sixty-nines, cunnilingus and blow jobs are all marked with a generic 'oral' sex type, so the animation played during sex may not match the pawn log

But really, no. It appears to be throwing errors in my game at least, which it normally only does when versions are incompatible.

I was able to fix most of my issues by deleting and reinstalling the lastest version rimworld. Furthermore, If you are in the habit of jumping from the steam to GOG games and back again, look at your uninstall programs list. If you see multiple versions of rimworld there, delete all them and reinstall again.

 

My current problem with RJW Animation Framework is this:

Yep, I rebuilt for the latest version of RJW awhile ago. Make sure you're updated to the latest version

I use that, and get no errors. So it does work, at least in some cases. Might be a mod order or mod conflict issue.

You can add them if you want, someday I'll make a more contextually accurate animation for animals that aren't dogs though.

Would also like to report that pawns doing things on a spaceship show up planetside, and ones planetside show up on a space ship.

Also not your fault, but that large code block in the above is cusing crashes of my browser whenever I try to open the topic, the animations are really nice though maybe they could get added?

 

Also how does one know when it needs to be rebuilt for a new RJW version? is the current one safe?

@xpertox2000it seems you are using an old version of RJW, that might be were those errors come from.

I can tell it's an old version because your pawns still have the whoring icon which got moved to the brothel tab and, speaking of which, the brothel tab got changed to have the whoring symbol instead of the written name a couple versions before that even iirc.

I suggest updating RJW, unless you have reasons to play older/legacy versions, at which point I can't help you sadly.

So hey, thanks for the awesome mod. But I ran into problem here. It's working fine for a while but..
All of sudden the hair won't rotate and the head covers the face. I dunno what causes this problem, I've resetted, tried in both steam and pirated version. But somehow this issue still persist. Any help is appreciated.

Awesome mod sir!! thanks. Making this animation framework is definitely a godsend right now, sadly I'm inept in this stuff. hopefully someone will make new animations like 69 and mutual masturbation cuz my colonist are always doing that stuff lol
