How does Pregnancy (or Sexout overall) handle custom races?
I'm using Daughters of Ares and was curious if any of my bugs were race-related.
 
Mind you, it seems the bugs spread into my non-Ares save, too.
 
 
But the main thing here is I was curious if ever the Pregnancy system will birth an Ares NPC. Or does it only keep in mind the vanilla races?
 
 

the newest version. that can download from op. the offspring that did it is the test offspring that u get from box in docs house.
 
basicaly had lots of issues with that offspring.
1. didnt want to follow at first. had to reload game and do both convo for her to follow.
2. had to zone in then out 3 times before she followed me outside.
3. when tested slavers life mod and enslaved here it caused the slavers life mod to stop working.
4. also when she wouldnt follow her inventory had mutiple follow tokens on her if that helps.
dont know yet if its other offspring yet since been helping test slavers life v2 mod. btw how many days is from baby to child then i could adjust it and test it with other offspring.

 
I'd chock most of that up to this being a Bethesda game. Even vanilla is glitchy.

Which particular offspring? A few versions back I changed some creatures over to the better dialogue system from the old system

 

Are integrated offspring dialogs an option or forced in case of using base pregancy mod ? 

 

I'm not at the stade or managing enslaved opffspring in my slavery mod but I must anticipate to avoid conflicts and having NPC having 12 options 'follow' and 10 options 'stay' :D

 

The next stage in my dev will be to get babies at birth and frozzen then in congelators :D

Offspring have never followed through doors reliably for whatever weird reason, I'll look into the multiple follow tokens thing :)

I'd chock most of that up to this being a Bethesda game. Even vanilla is glitchy.

Robots don't have babies, well not robot babies anyway :)

Baby to Child, Child to adult are all the same time period depending on the MCM slider can't remember what 100% is.

 

bad news rabble on custom races wont work. on my game the custom stock races always come out to defualt races no matter what. my pc is a custom asian race yet the childern area always defualt races.

Yeah too many custom races to allow for, I might be able add formlists for AfAm/Asian/Cauc/Hisp etc then people could add their race to the formlists themselves.

There are 2 systems currently, most creatures are still on the old package system. I might be able to put some sort of disablement switch in to turn the systems off for you.

Thanks. Cause managing packages and status of slaves is the core of the slavery mod and if I disable that I do nothing :)

 

I begin the R&D step for getting babies at birth and frozen them so I'll surely PM you :P

If your off-springs don't follow, or disappear while following etc. then try this ESP. Place it under SexoutPregnancyV3.esm.

 

 

 

It basically overrides a few things in SexoutCommonResources.esm and SexoutPregnancyV3.esm/ Human off-springs, their AI packages and their growth scripts will get overridden. You may delete the growth scripts from the ESP if you'd like.

 

It turns off-springs into pretty much a standard follower. Mind you, SmallerTalk is required to command them.

With Slavers Life v2 I did tests to see the actuals problems (have not begin to work on that).

 

For now :

 

 - I made a first pregnancy, no problem to belly growing, no problem to birth, can't speak to little offspring so used my special kay to force dialog and it was ok, wait for maturity, enslave it and all is ok it's a normal slave.

 

 - Second pregnancy, I enslaved offspring before maturity, no problems at start but when offspring grow at maturity it wasn't a slave anymore and I was not enable to reenslave it.

 

So, for now, don't enslave before maturity.

 

Normaly smalltalk is not needed if you use Slaver's Live v2 and can cause problems.

 

Note : I use, as indicated in my doc, the stable version of pregnancy not the current in dev, I'll see that later and have no ideas if this is the problem.

Cool, I'll look at merging some of that stuff into the main release, I added them all to the Don'tTazeMeBro Faction in the beta, I'll see what else fits in.

Yeah when the Young Offspring change into Mature Offspring they delete themselves and place the Mature version, I swap the gear from one to the other in the process. I had to have 2 different stages so Young OffSpring could be excluded from Sex lists and some other reasons too.

Not problem to come with that I think, just I didn't work on this for now.

In the MCM there is no pregnancy tab so I cant change the speed of pregnancy. I have uninstalled and reinstalled pregnancy, MCM and NVSE.

Does anybody need shared resources anymore? we really need to like, erase it's very existence from the internet. It causes nothing but problems for me.

 

I don't suppose you could write me a script that checks if it's loaded could you? That way I can spam anyone that plays my mod with it removal messages.

Yeah, not a bad idea, I can put a gamestart message into the SCR & Pregnancy beta as I can't see why anyone should install both.

Unfortunatelly I have the same problem as SirSquidgy. I just made an clean installation with correctly installed FNSE and the necessary extension.

 

I just added a few mods and deactivated nearly all of them to ensure that they are not causind it but even if I just load only with pregnancy and the necessary files it still is not showing up in MCM.

Yes, I have the same version. I did another fresh installation today. Deleted everything and just installed the necessary mods. Still not showing up, the other sexout mods are visible. I also downloaded the mod once more to ensure that the archive is not damaged.

 

I am a little clueless here. I also started a new game. I used the latest versions from sexout ng etc., maybe the mod is incompatible with one of the latest version? I also installed the extender v11 for SE in the 'data\nvse\plugins' folder so everything is in place.

 

I also have problems with the sexoutstore.esm and deactivated it but it is not necessary by this mod.

 

Is there a command like in skyrim where I can force MCM to update itself? I searched the net for it but could not find anything so far.

My player is male asian, my house slave is caucasian female. I've inseminated her my self and she have a baby supermutant ?

 

Is it a mutation (I play with 10% mutation chance) or an alien action in my game ?

 

Will it be aggressive at birth ? Mother is in my house and I paid heavyly for dishes and decoration :P

Hmm, more likely a screwup somewhere in Pregnancy, I'll have a look, though I did plan on SuperMutants & Ghouls as Mutations, I hadn't implemented it yet :)

Are offspring not supposed to count as companions? Or is this slightly bugged atm?

 

Right now, I swear I don't get any xp from kills my offspring make, they're not protected from dying like regular companions are (when not hardcore mode), they have problems with some specific doors (Crimson Caravan HQ has garage doors they can't seem to follow through), and are prone to rare bouts of crazed-gunman-mode (usually after I've told them to stand still, then forget and wander off too far then stop when everybody starts shooting).

They are more followers than companions, only when they mature will they fight with you in theory, Offspring are just buggy, not much I can do about it.

I'm thinking of splitting Offspring away from Pregnancy to a separate esp so other people can write their own stuff for them.

The preg armors are included in the mod or do I have to download an external mod ? 

You need the Maternity clothing pack, there's links for it in the OP

 

I'm very close to promoting the Beta to Stable with a heap of fixes and some major changes and 2 months ahead of this version, so if a few braver people want to hop over and try the beta to report any issues or that it's working ok, before I promote it might be handy, the 40 or so people using it aren't reporting any issues.
