FF Custom Skins

I only did the body texture for testing, no Hand and head. And the running of the drops is not right. Skyrim texture combined with Oblivion texture.

Yeah I want to ask how do you get the skin to super glossy I've noticed some people have so extremely glossy skin and I can't seem to figure out how to get to that level. For example I noticed Biikaru's gallery and i want to achieve that level of gloss.

 

These guys helped you out already I see, but I use glossy textures & run meshes through glossmax @1000

This program allows you to simply drag the body meshes over and gloss them.  Hope that helps.

I have a Nvidia card so I'm also using ambient Occlusion set to quality along with FXAA turned on for those pesky jaggies.

When V3 first came out I had some trouble using it along with Enb and the palette not working correctly.  I would get a black screen no matter what I tried.  It's been a while since I've tried it again.

Really nice skins there, though I don't use moonshadows elves, I use the Moon Coy for my imperial character. There's one thing though, what should I replace in the 'imperial' folder from the Moon Coy folder to eliminate this -

I would need to make you a custom texture for the face.  Moon coy was only made for the moon race and the textures wouldn't line up right just by renaming them.  GIve me a little bit please to catch up on some other things and I'll make you one.

That's something specific to the mesh. Either learn how to set the gloss in nifscope, or get glossmax and start running .nifs through it.

Glossmax did the trick, thank you Thor! One thing though, if this is related to the clothing mesh, why didn't the gloss in the second pic appear when I was using the default body textures and not FF's skin?

Gloss is controlled by both the normal map and the model. It probably was there, just less noticeable.

There is no permission needed when it shows *Sorry, you don't have permission for that!* for downloads/threads that means that file/thread is no more as in it's gone it's dead it's deleted. Someone might have it hard to say.
