You should try getting the workshop one, Facial Stuff that is. It's the one i have and it seems to play along with the mods just fine. It PROBABLY has different versions but if it doesn't, dunno what to tell you. Facial Stuff isn't really updated anymore, but i would assume the workshop has the latest over the Forums version.

Maybe I'm just a dumb dumb here but I'm curious if anyone's having the same issue I'm having with Facial stuff causing the organs of the colonists to not render when you set the Visibility of Apparel to nude when the colonists are in bed or in their private rooms. When they strip naked everything seems to work but Facial stuff seems to be messing with whether their bit's show when you set visibility of apparel.... which just ends up removing all the nude bits down to just the base model. Here's my list and I have tried to follow to a T the Mod order Guide. I've added the facial stuff and rimnudeworld at the very bottom.

that is a known issue
Facial stuff strips pawns in a different way than what is supported by Alien Races Framework, so parts are not shown, sadly

I requested this kind of compatibility, but I can't assure you when or if that'll happen, since facial stuff is an abandoned mod

I hear ya. I've been dabbling in modding and Facial Stuff is honestly an enigma out there with how it functions. It's a very unique kind of mod that you don't see much of out there because animating in Rimworld really isn't much of a thing.... I've tried digging into the code and boy does it feel like a shot to the nuts looking at it. It's a shame such an awesome mod is just left in the dust. I wish I could pick the creators mind on this because tutorials on this subject tend to feel like finding a needle in a hay stack compared to the millions of tutorials out there on making weapons and animals and all the stuff we already have in spades.

By the way awesome mod you've created?! Programming takes a great deal of effort and modders are completely underrated for the blood and tears that go into making content for the rest of us to enjoy. Now if only I was good enough to patch Facial Stuff to work with this mod to really make rimnudeworld shine like it deserves too!

yeee I will, just will take a while -3-

the mod is on hold while RJW updates its thing, but if you're interested, you can add as many patches you want, it's quite easy:

1: copy a patch and rename it (I recomend the beastman tribes one, I didn't change much), then open it up on a text editor (notepad+ is great for xml)

2: find the about.xml and the race def xml that has the defname for the race you want

3: on the new patch, on the begining, you'll change two things:

-inside <mods> </mods> there will be a <li> </li>. You'll change that to be the exact same name that is on the mod's about.xml;

-there will be a several <xpath>, you'll have to change every AlienRace.ThingDef_AlienRace[defName="RaceDefName"] to have the same exact defname as the race you want to patch

4: profit

if nothing appears, the patch failed somewhere. Probably the findmod has incorrect info, or the xpath is wrong

if stuff appears, but the bits are floating away from the race, probably the race has a diferent draw size or the offsets are bad. both are annoying, but fixable

hope that help, just not want to leave you hanging while I'm on hold

No prob man, thanks for the reply. I'll try the patch you mention in the mean time.

Edit : Tried making a patch for the Astoriel and it works like a charm, thanks for your help man. Though I don't know if I should do the same for the arachne or filthy orc race mods since those two have unique bodies.

Heya - I seem to be having some issues trying to run this mod with Orassans Lite (as opposed to the standard Orassans mod, which works fine). Nude textures don't appear when using Orassans Lite. I have tried replacing 'Orassans' in the <li></li> with 'Orassans Lite' - the name in Orassans Lite's about.xml - but this doesn't seem to fix it.

..... go read up on what a defname is for rimworld moding.

That is HAR's stuff for body addons

You can mess aorund with the values ingame, with devmode on. At the top there'll be the tweak values menu, inside there you have sliders for pretty much every body addon. The only downside is that tweak values don't have a save feature, so you'll need to note the number down to edit later manually

The layerOffset is the z-layer, eg: the height. In a 2d game it means ''which texture will be on top of what''

Back up your modsconfig, erase the original one, enable only what you need, readjust values after every restart.

When setting these up there is no reason to have more than 6 mods really.

After you get the right alignment copy past your backed up mods config over your current use one. Overwrite the file. Now you have your old list back.

I'm just waiting for it to be more stable (lots of issues happening) and also, one big thing

RJW updated, it now handles hediffs diferently, and so the mod is broken on the new version

I'm waiting for someone to code stuff for me, so I can update me lewd mod >3>

Awesome to hear you're on the ball! RJW's gone through 3 different alphas just since the release. I guess there's been some serious shake ups on how Rimworlds addressing mods. Though I get the feeling in the long run, these changes are a good thing. Load times for 100+ mods is drastically optimized and mod sorting seems like it could be a solid thing if it works as intended. I'm just pumped more life's been brought back into the game. Even Killface, the creator of Facial stuffs gotten back into it after a very long break?. Wonder if he'll ever make his clothing removal system ever compatible for other mods like this and Alien Framework?.

you mean using different textures for different types of bodies? I'd had done that if Alien Races Framework allowed me -3-

But I heard that its a possible new feature for the Alien Races Framework in the future, lets hope that gets added (since I don't know how to code and all that)

Otherwise I suggest looking at the Alien Races Wiki on other stuff you may endup having questions about >3>

I cant try and update to the new RJW without the coding. But the diferent sizes on parts would not be there, would that be okie? ó3ò

@yaranaikahollow I honestly wonder why they changed the hediff's like they did for 1.1. Have you heard the logic behind the changes? I saw from an earlier post you think Alien Framework might implement your mods functionality but is that a strong possibility in your opinion? I've really enjoyed Licentia's mod and this one and seeing 1.1 shake up everything so hard feelsbadman. Just when you start really getting some awesome functionality with the pubes and new races put in, everything crashes down!
