I'm having a strange problem with tihs mod. the Paradox Mod Manager can see v0.4.8 just fine, the paradox launcher for stellaris can't see/detect the mod. I coudn't figure aut why so I just moved all files to the v0.4.6 folder and go with it? woudn't be  surprised if that caused some problems but I can't figure this out for the life of me.

i discover that if you edit the file that comes with the mod(the file with the same name as the mods folder) so that its does not say path="mod/Lustful Void" (or similar) but like this: path="C:/Users/Admin/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/Lustful Void" then the stellaris launcher did see it for me (only have c drive if have it on it and Admin is  computers name mine is at default Admin but yours probably is different)

if it does not work then sorry but it work for me

Been playing around a bit with the latest dlc, and found two issues,

- mono gendered species do not get a bonus once gene tailoring and interbreeding perk are unlocked, according to the tooltip there should be a "bonus".

- the evolution start for non hives seems to be broken, the 2nd species does not show up on gamestart, while being mentioned in the race/empire description there are no pops or events.

Stupid question.  The Slime Vats(Create Slime Armies) are one per planet.  The Slime Labs(+12 Minerals, + 24 Society, +25% pop growth, all of this is provided by the building directly) you can build as many as you like.  Is this second one intended?  Creating a 'birthing planet' of sorts seems possible if you can handle the food+energy costs(4 energy, 6 food per building).

Probably you are using an other mod, which overwrites in any file the skripted_effects for values like "generate_start_pops" because everybody thinks don't touching the file were the original is is a good idea and prevents errors, but the effect gets overwritten from any source. And now everybody has to look up all files to find were it was changed to fix not easy traceble errors.
I had to look into it because i run into the same problem with the "Unofficial Hive DLC: Forgotten Queens" does the similar things. And there are many more cases with errors like this.
And because of the genius idea to load all files alphabeticaly even wenn the .mod files are ordered in a specific order, makes the debugging even more tedious.
so all values in zz.txt files overwrite values in aa.txt no matter which load oder is defined

Hey there! Loved this mod sooo many months ago... But now i simply can't get it to work :x. After a hard time fighting that god damned launcher it finally shows on the list. But after I tick it and launch the game there's no civic or any other content of the mod.  I have turned off all other mods and yet it simply won't work. Anyone faced a similiar issue?

I'm curious if anyone knows how to fix that clash between Forgotten Queens and this. Trying to just rearrange tho order didn't help (changed the prefix on the file). Also, to the author, if you would accept some help on this I would be glad try help out. PM if you'd be willing to have me.

Changing the prefix no longer works with the "Paradox Launcher V2". You have to drag and drop the mods in the manager. Mods farther to the bottom have priority.

If you mean the spawning issue i explained it like 3 post earlier.
i created for me a merge file which repairs this problem.

but its only a temporarty fix and maby introduces errors in your setup

zzz_start_of_game_effects.txt

Is the modded up to date with the present version ? I'm missing a lot of stuff but the mod list doesn't tell me the mod is for an old vernion of the game ?

EDIT: actually nothing work (I had MASA activated), i've reinstalled the whole thing the mod is here in the launcher but nothing ingame oO

small suggestion, change the concubine job that spiritualists get with the divine coupling civic to "pleasure priest" and have it be a specialist job.  If sex is sacred, then those providing it should be the high-strata ones.

Unrealated idea, non-pacifisist xenophobes can have Exemplar jobs, a sex job that gives 1 defense army each, some unity, small amount of naval capacity, building itself provides xenophobe ethics attraction.

They demonstrate the absolute superiority of the [SPECIES NAME] form in beauty and might for the galaxy to see

sex traits would slightly increase unity, repugnant, weak, small tits, small penis, would have larger penalties than other sex jobs, as you are trying to convince your own citizens how much better your species is, and that doesn't work if it just reminds them of their own inadequacies.

First of all: many thanks for this great mod!

But I have a question regarding the events. I like the traits, the origins, the new mechanics etc but I don't like the events. The pictures are nice, but they are too much and don't really fit into the game for me.

The options to turn off the events doesn't work properly. My question is: If I just delete the whole event folder in the Lustful Void folder, can I turn off the events completly or will that destroy the mod?

Well it look like it's working for you guys,

on my game any mods work, even old MASA show up in game (but partially)

but Lustful Void doesn't: nothing in game it shows up in the mod manager but nothing at species creation and next ingame

do I have to buy the last DLC ?

do i have to revert to another version of the game ?

any help would be greatly appreciated, I never had this kind of bug before :/

I don't what to use MASA, Lustful Void doesn't appear in game nada nothing (without MASA enabled)

Lustful Void is the only mod enabled

EDIT I'm going to the discord

my problem was the version of the in the .mod file for some reasons ...

The concubine job for the divine coupling civic is just a stand-in, it's supposed to be a different job each tier. Also needs to be revamped since the temple upgrade chain got changed.

Exemplars are a decent idea, would probably be a civic though.

Hello. New to Stellaris modding. Love this mod. So much depth to it.

I've been trying to play as Rogue Servitor Sexbots. A sex crazed all male pops create AI sexbots so they can just fuck night and day!

But If i biuld any of the building from the mod the Trophy pop take the jobs. not the Sexbots. Do gestalt consciousness need their own biuldings? Or just thier own jobs?

Gestalts should be getting their own unique building chains and jobs when I get around to it. When that happens bio trophies and robots should have separate unique jobs.

Ok can anyone tell me how the xeno-intercompatibility perk works? Do i need any traits for that part of the mod to work? Thanks in advance.

Edit: I really need to know, i have a fanatic spiritualist and authoritarian ethic. Besides shouldn't this events have a message box?

Just had the Titanic Life event chain for the first time; very well done.

One request though: The final repeating event that triggers a pop modifier; could this be made into a timed planetary modifier to limit the event spamming windows? It got very distracting needed to close the same window over and over.
