Curious about the new adviser voices. Will have to check them out when other ears can't hear.

Also, not sure where to begin looking in the code, but I'm still not getting brood parasite pop up notifications when they share a planet with another compatible species.

I did get it once when a npc species that had it immigrated to my world, but it appears when a species of mine with it moves to a npc world there's no message.

Seems to be an issue with hive minds specifically for me. I threw together a non-hive empire with a brood parasite sharing a world with an all-female species for a quick test, and the pop up triggered fine for that empire around day 8. Yet my hive mind parasite species sharing with an all-female species hasn't seen one yet despite being 3+ years into a game.

A suggestion about the various hive mind civics (Brood Swarm / Nymphic hosts / Propagating Throng) :

Instead of a Total war casus belli to annex other - with all the problem you have in case of defeat - give them a special kind of subject (See common/subjects) with a specific casus belli to impose it.

Something like a thrall, but specific to this kind of hive mind.

In addition to a subject tax rate, the enslaved country could get various events where the hive mind mess with its pop. That way, a total defeat is not the end - especially if the overlord cannot integrate the thrall.

And the -100 opinion modifier could be lowered/removed. They need more friends, not more foes.

It's a shame non-Megacorps are barred from Branch Offices, because it feels to me that it's systems would be perfect for this.  Secret hives being built on planets, forcing them to become a 'subsidiary'.

I wonder if that could be a civic?  'Secret hive'?

That's a really neat idea, actually-adds some intrigue to the story. Would it increase crime, or would it siphon productivity and amenities? Ooooh, would it steal populations from time to time? Seems like there's room for growth in that line of thought

Pop ups for gestalt consciousnesses in general may need a look over. At least for the ones that start the game with a secondary species sharing their worlds.

Already mentioned the issue I've been having with pop ups not appearing for hive mind brood parasites that start with a secondary species (via symbiotic evolution), but I rolled up a machine empire out of curiosity with the secondary species having the fabricator wombs trait and the special feature for that trait didn't seem to fire for machine assimilators or for rogue servitors either.

Also, that idea for infiltrating other empires and stealing their pops without going to war does sound interesting. ?

Though there'd have to be some risk of getting caught too. Like if the planet has a high stability or lots of security buildings.

Consider: if you have a little crime on a planet, you can 'Make Deal With Crime Lord', which grants extra stability forever for extra crime(which can be countered).

Call it dark, but something similar with a Hive Mind(Shipping off people, willing sign-ups, etc).....It's a thought.  Probably nothing more.  You could tie this with traits, I suppose.  A commercial Pact could be official relations.

Some of the hive Insults reference that they're always scouting for more converts("Unfortunately, this requires you to have a functioning brain.")

I haven't said much about this mod lately... I finally upgraded to 2.3x and am playing.  No super-major new bugs found.  Rogue Servitors is still not working out, but this new government type you've added... Salacious whatsits?  Not a bad substitute for Rogue Servitors!  I was pretty skeptical at first, because of course I had no access to bios, but what did I find like two systems over from my starting spot?  A primitive world, which I promptly conquered in the name of love.  If this mod ensures you have access to primitives early with Salacious whatsits, my hat is off to you.  If it was just a coincidence... well, can you make it NOT be one?

It is unfortunate that machine empires don't get access to biomods for their subjects though... might be something to look into.

Also, I noticed that you can't make machines be sex bots, except during initial creation.  That can't be robomodded in later, though I'd think you should be able to.

Also, love the popups for biomechanical breeding, and I wish there were more of them.  Like maybe once a decade or something we get a little vignette.

There is a pretty good mod called Forgotten Queens that greatly expands on hiveminds, including the ability to have a hivemind corporation.  I think its a pretty straight corp, whereas "secret hive" would be more like a criminal syndicate corp (I forget the exact names).

So I'm not sure if RPing is allowed in the forum's or not, but an idea has been kicking around in my head for a while and this playthrough wouldn't be possible without the tits and ass that Lithia and her team provide. So I'm sharing it here until I'm evicted forcibly by the love police

This is just the prologue and it isn't finished, but I'm going to share it here for everyone's benefit.

A History on the world of Imira

Our home, Imira, is covered nearly 80% by water, with seas that range only a few tens of meters deep, to the great abyssal plains of oceanic plateaus that reach hundreds of kilometers down.

As taught to all children, there are fifty three continental island plates, with 18 of them holding over 50% of the world’s population, the five most significant, and home to the Excumene, are Yularan, Excumia, Indara, Polara, and Amaria, the last of which our current ruling family, the Amarias, lay claim. The next most important were home to the Kintari, Kalina, Kalinsa, Opsidia, Amphredes, and Noch Kolach.

In ancient history, we, the Excumene, controlled the five greatest islands in the endless seas, and form there, industry, cities, and ships were built upon great mountain spires, overlooking the crisp green waves.

It was in this age of exploration and sailing, that the Kintar were met, in their great mangrove forests and swamps, in their extravagant tree cities made of the purest Unkara.

It was when the two sides of the world came together, as in the hall of deliberation, the great Ocean Queen Makari laid the Princess of the island of Quay across the massive table grown within, and took her virginity. Within ten days and nights, proceeded to do the same to the entire island’s population.

Ogena, shuddered as she felt a plush pair of lips wrap around her member below, gently sucking her rapidly hardening head. Peeking over her textbook, to her childhood companion Faleen, her long silver hair reaching all the way to her posterior, flowing like a moonlit waterfall across her body, parting down her svelte back, the skin burnt to a perfect chocolate tan.

A slight whimper of pleasure rocked Ogena, as Faleen’s tongue pressed against her cock slit, teasing out a drop of pre as her ruby red lips now fully engulfed her ridged head. Her eyes flicked up to meet Ogena’s, locking eyes with Faleen, and seeing those deep ocean purple windows, she gasped out, “Fa- Faleen! I’m trying to study!”

The similarly young Kintar merely hummed out, closing those windows to her soul, and pushed ahead, and Ogena closed her own eyes, as she felt her rudged cockhead slid across the roof of Faleen’s mouth, and then effortlessly into her throat, bulging it slightly as she felt the Kintaran’s nose press against her body, “G-Goddess... Please-” Mind racing she gave up on the book for now, “Please don’t stop!”

I have no idea who the person voicing the Lewd Advisor is, (most search engines are useless these days) but whoever came up with the script deserves a round of applause. That is genuinely hilarious and entertaining enough I've been tempted more then once to reply back to those comments.

There is a mod called LV Blue Addons, is the owner aware or is authorized?

I've posted here in this thread a few times with my changes, but decided to make my own thread rather than diluting the conversation here.

It's an add-on to Lustful Void, with tweaks and such, designed to work together with this mod, rather than as a replacement. Keep in mind LV is itself a re-reworking and combination of several other mods by different people. I can certainly add a more explicit disclaimer or something if it would make people happy, or change the name if Lithia<3 doesn't like the reference, but it felt appropriate.

I found assimilating breeders do not have any kind of text, as well other empires do not have CB "Contaiment"

Casus belli going both ways related to breeders was apparently broken. I want to say it was a change made to how total war conditions are handled by one of the recent game patches, but I'm not really sure.

I did manage to get them working again though:

LV Breeding Offensive Fix.rar

Haven't noticed any missing text with them in my games though. So I'm not sure what to do there.

Yeah, I get a chuckle just about every time I get a notification. Also, with a few (admittedly obvious) tweaks to the lines I'm sure it would be popular as a high-quality, standalone saucy advisor voice on the steam workshop. ?

The brothel and sex market are pretty similar to certain base-game buildings. How would you feel about, instead of making them their own building tree, adding policies that reflavor the jobs at existing, in-game buildings

I've followed this discussion with interest, but I wanted to go back to the starting premise... Because as a player I will always favor buildings over policies or edicts. The latter are just set-and-forget mechanics for me, they throw up a few percentile changes that I don't always fully understand and won't really think about again. In my opinion they're a poor framework to hang future content on.

Buildings are flavourful. The Sex Market and Brothel are completely non-optimal but if I'm playing a highly sexualised species they're some of the first constructions that I'll put on a new colony just because that feels like something the species would do... Buildings are a narrative device in a way that policies and edicts just aren't.
The issue I have with the Sex Market and Brothel isn't even that they're similar to vanilla buildings. I'm fine with that. My problem is that I can never find a use for all the excess amenities that I inevitably generate.

Some random thoughts I've had, with no idea if they're at all feasible:

- Another building to turn amenities into Pornography for even more Trade Value, Diplomacy/Trust or Influence

- And/Or another building to turn amenities into BDSM tools, for more Army Morale, lower Collateral and better Dairy Farm production.

- Ruler slots for Sex Markets and Brothels... Either as a pathway into the 'elite' for my society's most valued workers, or as a place to put captured and enslaved rulers from enemy and primitive colonies.

- With the above in mind, I'd love some kind of modifiers depending on which workers are assigned to sex work in these buildings: Your own species, for outward-facing bonuses (i.e. making your own worlds sex-tourism hotspots); Other species for inward-facing bonuses (so they're like zoos where your citizens can fuck all the inferior species you've captured); or with Robots/Mechanoids (for simple utilitarian bonuses or crazy robot-on-robot kinkception).

I have no idea if it's intentional or not but I just noticed Bio-Trophies can work sex jobs (Dairy Cows, Escorts/Whores, Street Walkers/Call Girls) and I found it hilarious. Can't really tell if biomechanical breeder is working at all though, my trophies have artificial wombs and the servitors have synth seeder but I'm not seeing any growth modifiers in either category.

Making the policies more visible is an excellent suggestion, and in the update I'm about to push, both Dairy Farms and Commercial zones have dynamic descriptions based on your policy. In my implementation, they don't change %s or give small bonuses - they replace clerks with whores, reflavoring the building in the same way an entirely separate building would. Give it a try, I think you'll find that it really does change the feel of boring 'commercial zones' into something a bit sexier.

(It turns out you can't alter a building's name or icon based on policies, darned modding limitations)

Literally making my first post just to put in my two cents.

An addon is an addon: It requires the base mod to even function, and saying it's theft or anything of the like is a bit... disingenuous. We are all modding games after all, non of which are our own intellectual property. It's like saying all the compatibility patches between mods have no right to exist, or that any mod using Sexlab for Skyrim should be taken down. It's not replacing Lustful Void, it's adding to. Hence "addon".

Anyways, those are my two cents. I already downloaded it and will be using it myself; curious if I can get it to work with Tons of Traditions.
