wow I lurk a lot and haven't posted in a very long time but I play a ton of Stellaris and wanted to try this.

I did a small game last night because my last huge map got slow and buggy. Only a few things come to mind as suggestions.

I'd like to see more immersive EVENTS that could possibly affect your government either empire wide or limit the inter-species love to a single planet. So far I've only seen a sexy asteroid event and a single tech show up and I'm well into messing with Genes on my Ascencions perks. I hope there will be much more.

Or if you have xenophile pops banging each other, it really makes the xenophobe pops really super pissed and they may want to leave your empire.

Could it even be possible to limit the compatible womb/sperm trait so that it's only compatible with the same species families? Last night I had 'half humans' suddenly being born but they were using that stupid evil gecko portrait. Can we limit to actual breeding and procreation to humanoid/humanoid or mammal/mammal because I don't think we can realistically mate with fungus/plants/arthropods and make a new half species.  If our pops did try to bang the lizard man, it should only increase the happiness but decrease growth substantially.

I think some of your traits could be condensed or collapsed into a lesser number, as there is some redundancy.  For example, "Synth Seeder" and "Cybernetic Womb" both offer the exact same bonuses.  The same applies for "Advanced Artificial Womb" and "Biomechanical Breeder".

Aw HELL no.  Its all about who is fucking who for what purpose.

If I want to have robots inseminate my xenos, there's a trait for that.  If I want the opposite, there's a trait for that.  If I want the offspring to be cybernetic, there's a trait for that.  I wish there was a trait where rapebots could use bios to make more robots like Sexual Gameplay had, but oh well.

Played it for a round. It gave me a lot of fun when choosing traits, but after I conquered the first nation, it got boring.

Adding more tech and buildings may solve this, I think.

Waiting for another update.

BTW, there is some event image bugs that the picture occupied the whole screen.

Hmm, would it be possible to add a planetary bonus that only applies to pops of a specific trait or ethos within a planet?

For example, would be possible to make a planetary modifier that applies:

a) A happiness penalty to all xenophobic pops on a planet.

b) A ethos attraction to all pops who do no have, for example, the big dick trait.

?

Perhaps you should be playing an RPG, then.  ?

Not as a planetary modifier.  You can use scripting to apply modifiers to individual pops, though.  There's already code, for example, to apply a happiness penalty to all xenophobic members of a species undergoing interspecies breeding.  Likewise, though it's a bit different from your example, in my testing code I've implemented code giving pops attraction to xenophilia if a different species on the planet has the big dick trait.  (Though I realize now that, indeed, that should be shut off if the pop in question has it as well.)

I like that idea; the sexual traits applying their Xenophelia attraction increase to all species without it rather than those with the trait. Similar idea would be Xenophobe attraction to races with the small breasts/penis. Materialist attraction for pops close to synthetics with any of the sextoy attachments maybe?

Sure, that's all achievable, and what I've been fiddling with.  Though I don't think the trait should have such a self-effect at all.  Races with "big _____" should not, by that fact, have any special attraction to aliens; if anything, they should probably have less attraction due to comparative "inferiority."  Though I'm not bothering to model that aspect of it.

I'll add cybernetic minifacturing fabrication wombs for bio pops soon...you'll get to have your "rapebots" again lol

Yes... Never to stand out from the crowd or make a mark upon the world. Just an... Anonymous Shadow... But at least I have my savage comebacks.

For real though I have no idea about how to do all the coding and stuff. I did do a cool 3d animation once but the camera snapped around to every frame I made a change when I rotated the camera to get a better angle. The camera shook and twisted so much if I added explosive sounds it would make sense to the fight scene.

when that happens all you have to do is delete all the Keyframes the camera has and move it bit by bit, happens a lot of times to the amateur animator :P

So I have been playing with a few mods enabled that seem ripe for use within this sexy framework. Most of these are not original ideas, but I just wanted to throw them out there and see what people think.

First the mods that sparked my imagination:

1) Lustful Void (duh)

2) Stellaris Sexy Xenos 1.9

3) Dynamic Political Events

+  More Events Mod

4) Guilli's Planet Modifiers 2.2

5) Plentiful Traditions 2.2.7

1) Lustful Void: A great mod that we have all rallied behind. The mod Author seems very willing to work with the community to make a great piece of work; keep up the good work!

2) Stellaris Sexy Xenos: Has a lot of good idea that could be amazing inspiration for some cool things in this mod. This will be the longest analysts so I will try and be concise.

- Snu Fever; Light Snu Fever; and Overly sexualised: A civic and 2 traits repectively that introduce an interesting mechanic to the game that I think could be extremely compelling. In SSX these choices cause an event to fire where species with the trait or civic fuck a pop into oblivion; the xeno pop is either purged (Snu Fever civic) or converted to the race of the pop with the appropriate trait (Light SF and Overly Sexualised). Light Snu Fever and Overly sexualised also have the interesting quirk of working outside your own empire which can theoretically replace an opposing empires primary pop from within; quite literally fucking them into oblivion under the right (if unlikely) circumstances.

This is a very compelling mechanic that I think could be more elegantly applied. I propose a new purge type along the lines of "legalized rape"; you declare a species of undesirables in your empire as free game for sexual exploitation with no legal standing. As the pops are purged they are replaced by another random non-undesirable pop in your empire. Optional expansions on this idea include gaining unity when pops are purged or the option to turn the undesirables into breeding stock, never completely purging the race and allowing a certain number of individuals to remain and "milk" the system for bonus resources and desirable pop happiness.

- Lewd Mind (Trait): A 1p trait that lets the species leaders have a chance at perverted traits with a verity of effects. Traits include personal herem for lower leader upkeep; Lustful bodies for opinion improvements; Attractive for bonus growth speed; Explicit Xenophelia for immigration pull; Rapist for bonus army collateral damage and more.

I have always found the trait system in Stellaris lacked a certain amount of flavor; it would be interesting if this species trait instead of simply adding in a bunch of sexy leader traits to the pool instead allowed all your leaders to start with a second "sexual trait" in addition to their normal starting trait. The power of these sex traits would need to be blanced carefully in order to prevent the leaders from effectively doubling their early game utility.

- Sexy Civics: Outside of the relatively mundane civics added by SSX that provide bonus growth speed and happiness 3 are particularly interesting.

A) Open Leg Diplomacy: +30% Bonus trust Growth; +20% immigration pull; and -50% boarder friction. Why go to war with us when you can have sex with us instead? Limited to Xenophile.

This is an extremely interesting civic for its flavor. If we wanted to we could expand this to be a counterpoint to Inward Perfection by limiting it to Xenophile/Pacifist and increasing its list of effects to create another "larger" civic with more game play impacts such as being unable to declare wars and giving further incentives to immigration treaties and diplomacy.

B) Perverted Slavery: +5% Citizen Pop Happiness; +20% slave happiness; +10% Undesirable Happiness; -3 food from livestock; +0.5 Unity to livestock. This along with a new slavery type could be a great way to specilize your empire in sex slaves. The bonuses would need to be revalued along with the sex slave slavery type to make a balanced option.

C) Sexual Idyll: +40% Amenity Usage; -30% Consumer goods upkeep; +5% citizen happiness; access to an improved holo-theater called "Pleasure Gardens" which provide slightly more amenities from their Idyllic Sex Worker Jobs. I realy like the theme of this and honestly would implement it as is; it feels strong and flavorful at the same time.

3) Dynamic Political Events + More Events Mod: Both of these mods try and do the same thing in my view; make the time spent administrating your empire interesting by filling the long expanses of nothing happening with interesting and fun events. Vanilla Stallaris has long sections of nothing to do; political events lets you choose how your empire thinks and runs while affecting your population with ethics attraction and other rp elements that let you feel like you are administering a living species rather than a bunch of pixels.

The addition of sexy events has already started with things like the wild xenos breeding with your pops and random anomalies. The idea of more common events describing how your empire sexuality is developing could be incredibly interesting. Imagine if you occasionally got to decide on your empires stance on things like public nudity; marital laws; age of consent; public decency; public view of bestiality; and other perverted fetishes? You could tailor the role play of your empire to your preferred fetishes and have events that catered to your preferred play style. Each of these could provide a small empire wide bonus and be repealed by a special society research project in case you want a change.

4) Guilli's Planet Modifiers 2.2: Every planet now has between 0 and 3 planetary modifiers (or more based on the settings you choose) with many new ones added. Planets are interesting again! This along with more settler quest lines with a sexy theme could make for some interesting game play elements. Sex related planetary modifiers and quest lines that are recurring to keep the feeling of a living colony will make the sex theme game play much more engaging. Planetary modifiers like Atmospheric Aphrodisiacs and any of the mega-fauna/flora could be given event chains to make them kinky and fun. Settlers being abducted by tentacle monsters? Settlers making pets of the tentacle monsters? Gian worlds perfectly suited to being sex gardens? Erotically shaped plants? Ancient forerunner sex toys? Let your imagination run with it I say.

5) Plentiful Traditions 2.2.7: I am playing with this mod as I find the vanilla Traditions extremely limited. Sexual Tradition trees would be interesting focusing on particular fetishes and kinks, but honestly it would need to be compatable with other tradition mods in order to stay in my game which may be difficult to keep up to date.

Wall of text over! Thanks for reading if you made it this far, I hope some of you like my suggestions!

I don't know much about the coding of Stellaris admittedly, would adding in something like a new slave status or purge type invalidate many other mods? Is an "addition" of code?

Unfortunately, slavery and purge types are mostly hardcoded.  Certain effects of existing types can be changed, but new types cannot be added.

So, the Xeno Terror event. I confess to being a bit disappointed with it. The Xenomorph Army is a pretty obvious shout-out to Alien, but what get is a bit underwhelming in that regard. The army itself isn't all that impressive, but when it comes to the Xeno Terror event, finding a planet on which you can study Xenomorphs should yield some rather impressive results. Their acid blood has countless industrial and possible military applications, their exoskeletons that contain that blood and make them immune to small arms fire could revolutionize materials science, studying their impossible growth rate could lead to all kinds of medical breakthroughs. . . the possibilities are endless.

What I'd love to see is a decision that adds a percent bonus to research after you've colonized the planet you found them on. Maybe with chances for bad things to happen on the colony later. . . xenomorphs breaking out and killing some pops and/or destroying some buildings, something like that. It could also be cool having, in addition to the xenomorph army, an ability to drop xenomorph larvae or spores or eggs or something, doing heavy damage to planet's population.

Hmm. Thanks for the info Vunrt.

So if that is the case then alteration to slavery and purging need to be done through the civic and event rout like SSX did then. SSX used events to trigger the purging mechanics of Snu fever and such which is the best available work around in the situation. Sexual slavery was a civic choice so either we balance it as being strictly better then normal slavery or do something like "slavery bonuses/changes" with +1 civic slot rolled together just re-skinning slavery on your empire without taking up a valuable civic choice.

Is there a way to config the random generated empires, i. e. limit the ammount of traits assigned? I tend to get races with 5+ sexual traits which I would consider overkill. I'd rather like to see such traits assigned to primitve civilizations, or pirate nations giving more of a reason to conquer or uplift them.

Your idea of sexual traditions is intriguing.  I agree that it can be difficult. I reinstalled the game and then installed your mod. I love it so far, but I do not really like the updates to the game itself.  I have yet to come across any tile blockers for example. I have come across the techs for removal, but I have not seen them as of yet. I wouldn't mind seeing more events fire off to break the long monotony of sitting around, and waiting for something to happen during colonization, random or otherwise..

What would the sexual traditions even be? My idea for it would be like a mix of Exploration (for growth) and Diplomacy (for trust).

The opener would be something like a growth bonus as you're encouraging people to fuck with the first "tree" start with something like "Encourage Sexual Leisure" and reduce amenities/civilian goods upkeep for pops as people just have sex more often and thus needing less to be satisfied entertainment wise. The two options that would split off from it could be "Government Sanctioned Whores" that would give City Disctricts +1 Entertainer/Prostitute jobs and also increase the output by +1 Energy and Unity if they're added in, and "Sexual Juices " that would give additional food and happiness from Farmer jobs as you use breast milk/semen in foods.

The second tree could have Trade Value bonuses and Trust Gain bonuses and I don't have any creative names for it unfortunately. Maybe something like "Subsidized Pornography" and "Welcoming Holes". The Finisher could give bonus Stability/Crime Reduction.

tile blockers are a legacy feature if i remember right. they were only used in pre 2.2 stellaris, before the big economy and planetary overhaul that made micromanaging every planetary economy on a tiny ass screen a nightmare. now instead of tile blockers, there's district blockers
