Very obtrusive and gamebreaking black screen tearing in worldspace

So while I was troubleshooting my CTD issues with my game, I encountered this very odd sky bug I run into whenever I'm outside. Half the world always seems to be cut with a very massive black square, and it not only hurts my eyes but tanks my FPS to 10 or even lower. Inside houses, dungeons, and basically anything not outside or with a sky, I'm totally fine. I've used and have installed Wyre Bash, Resave, TES5Edit, and LOOT, of course.

Are you using a ENB? If so have you tried turning it off to see if it's the cause?

 

Also are you suppose to have 2 of these turned on at the same? Vivid WeathersSE.esp   Vivid Weathers SE - Classic.esp If only one is suppose to be one then pick one of them and turn the other one off.

 

Another one to maybe look at. DustEffectsSSE.esp

I'm not using an ENB. Vivid Weathers SE Classic requires Vivid Weathers to run, otherwise, it's an instant CTD. Turning off DustEffectsSSE didn't change anything, but I don't really need it so I'm fine with keeping it off and seeing if launching a new game will work.

I followed a mod list which asked for both, however, I took out FCO. Also, how should I short my immersive armor plugins? I don't see a specific way the guide asks for, and other than that I used loot. 

 

Tried disabling Dust and FCO, sorting it with LOOT once more. No change, still doing this weird thing.

Unless you have similar problems in other games, this looks like a mesh problem.

What meshes would change the sky to such an ample degree? Is it actually the terrain? I tried disabling Immersive Fallen Trees, Landscape Fixes, Vivid Weathers, Majestic Mountains, Blended Roads, Darker Nights and Enhanced Lights and FX , Embers HD, Realistic Waters 2, Fluffy Snow, etc. Still happening. Would it be one of my texture mods that don't have ESPs?

 

It's at random points too. Sometimes when I look directly at a certain spot in the sky, it goes away, and my FPS goes to normal (around 60) but almost everywhere else it's just that stupid black box, with FPS at near 10.

Edit: Even with all my ESP's disabled (except for USLEEP and Alternative Start) the glitch happens.

So an update, it's most likely a texture or a mesh of some sort. I tried spawning at different locations, and the interior of Whiterun works perfectly, with minimal FPS drops, the interior of Riften works fine, with moderate FPS drops, and the world space right outside Windstad Manor works without the glitch, but with probably 2 FPS. However, worldspace around Helgan, and the interior of Solitude has the glitch.

Ah, I missed your edit in previous post. Try disabling everything (it's probably gonna be faster than disabling mods one by one). At least we will know that it's not caused by the game itself. After that I'd start adding texture mods in batches, it has to show up eventually. :)

When you mean disabling, do you mean fully uninstalling, or just the ESPs? I think about half of my mods are textures that don't have ESPs.

Let Steam verify the game files and run it through the launcher = without skse. If the problem persists, it might be your GPU so fingers crossed. :D

That look like and HDT problem streching mesh to infinite. Look if you have HDT active.

Look what DLL's are loading your game in the skse.log located in Documents\My Games\Skyrim\SKSE

 

For be sure the problem is not in SKSE and the DLL's try launch the game directly, whitout skse.

After backing up my EXE's due to a Skyrim update, running without SKSE worked perfectly, and I'm not too certain I have HDT, remembering it was a pain to set up due to it being in Chinese, however, I do know I have CBP Physics. Would that cause the same effect?

 

 

EDIT: I disabled CBP Physics but had all the rest of my mods on, and nope. So it's something with SKSE or the DLLs for sure.

I do not have SE but CBP seems like a limited HDT and the download only has one DLL and the configuration file. I doubt a fault in those two files. It must be a problem related to some body model or an incorrect xml that defines how the HDT/CBP works. I have seen similar problems in LE caused by an incorrect parameter in xml files.

Probably, your hdt/cbp is rendering female bodies, with tits, that are in the cell but out of the field of vision and creating that strange distortion.

Hmmmm. I do have some outfits, the largest being CBBE Immersive Armor Bodyslide files, that may be causing it. Are you saying it could be the armors, or the HDP/CDP itself, and what should I disable?

If you disable CBP and the problem is gone is an evident problem with CBP/HDT.

 

If you have armors with HDT can be a bad armor model. Maybe you install a CBBE armor and you are ussing UNP or viceversa. Mix armor types is only supported in followers whit specific body/armors.

 

Another problem can be the skeleton. A bad skeleton can cause glich's, CTD and stupid problems.

Try reinstal XPMSE and be sure none mod overwrite it.

If you have MO put XPMSE very low in the mod list giving it maximun priority.

 

EDIT: The problem can be related to ANY element that have HDT, like armors, clothes, capes, weapons, earrings, chains... any element that can have a moving mesh.

What files do you have in your "\Data\SKSE\Plugins" folder? If using MO2 you could try installing and running free commander from MO2 to see what's there in the virtual file system.

 

If you have cbp.dll in there then you definitely shouldn't have hdtSSEFramework.dll and hdtSSEPhysics.dll as these will conflict unless you know what you are doing with config files for both.

I haven't uninstalled animations yet, will try that next.

As i said, i not have SE and i can not make CBP test. 

But based in a similar log from HDT for LE look like you have a problem in the skeleton of some actors.

That mean a problem in skeleton/body. 

The problem can be in the armors because normally the armors have his own skeleton and body model and for that you must use the same type of armors and body, that mean CBBE armors for CBBE base body and UNP armors for UNP base body.

 

Be sure you are ussing the last version of XPMSE updated 15 August 2018

Reinstall your body model and XMPSE. Run BodySlide and FNIS.

Look in the first part of the Fnis log what skeleton are you ussing.

Normally you must use the HDT skeleton of 115 bones but you can try ussing the BBP skeleton of 129 bones.

Uninstall XMPSE and install it again for show the installer window for change the skeleton.

 

I see another version of CBP refered in the XPMSE download page. You can try it.

I have Racemenu PrecatcheKiller, Racemenu, SOS, Papyrus, CBP, TK Dodge, True Armor, Violens, To Your Face, Floating Damage, Display Enemy Level, Stay at System Page, Additemmenu, moreHUD and moreHUD inventory edition, Hookshare, F2F Conversation, and Engine fixes. I only have CBP, no HDT files. 

 

EDIT: While looking at the plugins folder, I found an overwrite mod with a CBP log, and it is filled with errors at the end. Not sure if it means anything, but thought I might as well add it just in case. cbp.log

I don't think those errors are anything to worry about- most likely related to armours that have no physics bones on npcs in your loaded cell. If you can get a copy of xpmse 4.20 which doesn't have all the scripts I'd recommend using that. Sadly the author deleted it from the nexus for some reason, I've had  issues with more recent versions including the latest one myself but 4.20 works fine.

But based in a similar log from HDT for LE look like you have a problem in the skeleton of some actors.

That mean a problem in skeleton/body. 

The problem can be in the armors because normally the armors have his own skeleton and body model and for that you must use the same type of armors and body, that mean CBBE armors for CBBE base body and UNP armors for UNP base body.

 

Be sure you are ussing the last version of XPMSE updated 15 August 2018

Reinstall your body model and XMPSE. Run BodySlide and FNIS.

Look in the first part of the Fnis log what skeleton are you ussing.

Normally you must use the HDT skeleton of 115 bones but you can try ussing the BBP skeleton of 129 bones.

Uninstall XMPSE and install it again for show the installer window for change the skeleton.

 

I see another version of CBP refered in the XPMSE download page. You can try it.

Okay, so I checked and made sure I had the latest version of XPMSE which I did, then reinstalled CBBE, installed CBPC, and then reinstalled XMPSE (which WAS being overwritten btw). Then I ran bodyslide and FNIS, and saw I was using the HDT skelly. Tried running it again, and it still had the same problem. Then I uninstalled CBP, reinstalled CBBE, and XMPSE using non-physic skeletons, and still, it was messed up. Even trying it without CBBE, CBPC, OR XMPSE did nothing and failed to fix the black glitch....

Do you have this version? I can't seem to find it anywhere online.
