All visual, nude or otherwise mods, should be compatible with the mod, in terms of working. The animations themselves use completely different, all custom assets.

Things like "Get rid of that underwear" or "Nude X race" won't have any effect on the animations, only on characters during normal gameplay.

 

An example of how to change said animations, be it to make it more akin to a mod or another (Cutebound, Humanoid/non-humanoid of X race, etc) or otherwise, is the freshly' uploaded "Sexbound Bigger Busts". Its not a reskin, but basically functions as one. So, yeah, any changes to the animations themselves need to be a separate mod.

That is content from a very old version (Named legacy by now) and that is planned to return in the future, but for now, the API is more evolving into a actual API, with more options for modders to add interactables, interact with players and NPC's, and more recently, monsters.

There's still a few more features to crank out before assuming its all good, but looks like this might be coming up next, should things work out and Loc have enough time.

Okay cool, can't wait to see a new version of the API, and I might possibly try to make my own race or item, heh.

Though, check for these mods:
Sexbound_Futanari (2.8.3)
Sexbound VenusBM

If any of the two are installed, it is worth noting they're outdated and won't work, effectively disabling Sexbound.

So, unrelated ones: A novakid hair constantly errors. This mod: "asset source named 'gr_NoDropConsumables'" constantly fails to patch player gamemodes. Lots of armor with missing frames?

 

As for the reason the beds don't work, it seems you have not only one, but two other mods that alter beds (Shareable Beds, BedsForTwo) and since they load after Sexbound, one would only safely presume they overwrite most relevant changes.


As to the only actual Sexbound error i see in THIS log: 


Exception while invoking lua function 'applyDamageRequest'. (LuaException) Error code 2, [string "/stats/npc_primary.lua"]:62: (StatusEffectDatabaseException) No such unique stat effect 'lust'

Which i assume bricked a NPC for you, making it invincible. This is due to outdated Throwing-Heart usage, i can only presume, since that is the outdated status effect.

If the issue is still around, to make sure the log includes the proper information, try to do just this:
Start game, get into a character, get into a Sexbound bed (That works?) and then leave it, close the game, and post the log. That'll guarantee that should anything be wrong with SxB itself, that it'll get logged.

Sorry to get back so late, i did a fresh reinstall and removed some mods, now working perfectly! However after a recent 1.4.4 hotfix i've had to reinstall again since starbound launched without mods which = loss of characters because i use FU. D; idk if this is off topic but, if you have any idea what may cause it, i'd appreciate the help. Thankyou again for your previous help!♥

tech support cannot be performed without the most up to date starbound.log

upload your logs (located at Starbound/storage/starbound.log) to pastebin or an equivalent and post it here, someone will get around to resolving it

Is this still compatible with the 1.4.4 version of Starbound? Simply dropping it into my mods folder causes an error as soon as I load into the game. It then forces the game closed. The error is "(EofException) Failed to read full buffer in readFull, eof reached.". I have plenty of other mods that function properly and the error goes away when I remove Sexbound.

So, if you mean things like "Fuchsia" or the long gone "Booty Rockin' Nuru", then those are very old and unsupported. Fuchsia has a up-to-date equivalent but Nuru and such (MaidForSex, Kitty, etc) don't.

At least for me, Steam was having issues where it would download the mods all over again after 1.4.4, and then just either crashed due to corrupted mods or failed to load them entirely. Best advice i have is Unsubscribe from stuff and re-subscribe, and hope the Workshop doesn't fuck up.

Not sure what to point to on this one, maybe a incompatibility with Pet/Monster code, since you do load into your save and then it crashes, but i can't be certain, could also be a issue with patching into similar objects, like beds or players... Heck, the possibilities are many, and the error is clueless. I'd recommend redownloading the mod and if that doesn't work, i can only say its one of your other mods. I've been using this just fine with 1.4.4 and many workshop mods, including several major mods.

If you're using FU, then yeah, their crew-members spawned using contracts don't seem to work at all, and it may not work with any FU crew-member type aswell. I've seen this issue and i can't fix it without patching into FU to fix it, something they have disagreed upon, so nothing we can do there.
