[mod] RimJobWorld

I now understood something else. I cannot fit an udder instead of a breast. It is only installed on the torso. Should it be like this? It looks like this is a conflict between mods where rimnudeworld specifies the udder for the chest, and in rimjobworld, the udder for the torso. Although animals such as cows have udders instead of breasts

If you have the Mod Manager mod installed, it will automatically check for new versions on gitgud.io and tell you what mod can be updated and to what version.

OR do you want to know wether it is worth updating, depending on how little/much changes between versions?

In that case you can just go to the gitgud page and read the changelog to see what changed and decide for yourself wether it's worth updating or not.

Did anyone manage to breed spiders from alpha animals (Blizzardisk in my case)? The tamed spider develops an unfertilized egg which is immediately laid, so no chance to use the same method like it works with insectoids.

@Skömar When using the dev commands to restore a  body part (specifically the torso) the command causes the genitals (breasts, penis, vag, etc.) to be deleted. If I get a chance to  post a log file I will. Seems to  happen even with only RJW installed.

The breast, penis and vagina hediffs are functionally similar to bionics, which dev mode doesnt restore either, either use the add hediff command or character editor to give your pawns their parts back

The latest stable version is on the download page, Ed86 posted the test version, if you use RJW addons better not use the unstable one

AAAaaand now there's a tongue body part...!  Can this mod add a cunning linguist trait now?  Although I guess that trait would be less useful since there isn't a sex skill anymore, but still would be funny for social impact alone (plus I guess can just increase sex impact).  Although maybe then this mod would also have to tier orgasms (normal vs intense vs ahegao).

is it normal to have rats fucking all over the map with this mod? I'm kind of new to rimworld and I'm not sure if this is normal, but my map is getting overrun by rats and I constantly hear them banging all over the place, it's getting insane. btw what's the fastest way to get rid of a bunch of rats?

Yes, it is normal. I had the same issues with some other smaller animals with a higher starting population. The only way to stop this is either to disable animal sex in the options or add the manager mod and then auto assign rats and other animals for intensive hunting. I had to shoot 400 hares on my map...

 

And be careful with insectoid breeding. I disabled the egg size and also changed some ther settings, ended with prisoners having up to 100-150 eggs in them and finally had around 500 insectoids around I had to slaughter.

The reason is that RJW doesn't generate any entry for the egg size (huge, small, medium) in the savegame, so what is shown in the overview tab is more or less random. Independant of that, there is a background function about the severity of an egg and a "small egg" has the same severity like a "huge egg".

I'm experiencing some strange issues with chickens.  It seems their eggs won't fertilize no matter how many times the roosters have at the hens.  I've had hundreds of unfertilized eggs, and not one fertilized egg.

 

If I remove RJW and test on a new game, the fertilization happens almost immediately.  When I add RJW back, start a new game, and test it out, I get the no-fertilization behavior.

 

I've poked around the logs and I see the following line:

I'm not sure if this is meaningful in any way as I'm not sure if it applies to eggs, or just to live-birth creatures.

 

I've tried reinstalling the mod, and disabling all other mods that affect animals in any way, but I still get it.

I've done some additional testing of the issue I've encountered detailed in my previous post.

 

Fertilization of eggs fails for:

 

chickens

ducks

geese

 

Fertilization of eggs works for:

 

turkeys

cassowaries

emus

ostriches

 

From what I've found at rimworldwiki, it looks like the failing birds have two properties the others don't, they don't occur in the wild (must be bought or otherwise acquired), and they can lay unfertilized eggs, whereas the other bird species can't (that is, they only lay fertilized eggs, or none at all).  So maybe something is going on with the fact that the failing races have two egg types available, where the working ones have only one type.

 

For the failing races, the log entries look similar to what I posted earlier, "... is -1 cant impregnate".

version 4.8.0.1 seems to fix the world gen error, update and try again
