Summary

La'hyza and her daughters, Kaashni, Ja'ya, Daro'ssi, and M'liah, are a poor Khajiit family of former mercenaries, who recently set up camp along the road to Hammerfell, in the southern mountainous region of Skyrim. They are stealthy and nimble fighters with varying abilities and preferred combat styles. La'hyza is a balanced fighter, skilled with one-handed weapons. Kaashni specializes in offense and wields war axes in both hands. Ja'ya is capable in both melee combat and fire magic. Daro'ssi is a talented archer who can easily take down opponents from a distance. M'liah is an agile assassin who prioritizes speed over defense. Having no money and very few possessions of their own, they live day-to-day trying to make ends meet. The best way to earn their trust and allegiance is by sharing some food with them to help them get back on their feet.

Lore

Spoiler

Background

La'hyza had a relatively rough childhood growing up in Cyrodiil. She never knew her real father, having been raised by her mother, a Khajiit prostitute, and her stepfather, a retired Imperial general. As a Khajiit child living among humans, she used to always feel left out by her peers, and was often discriminated by her stepfather's relatives. In spite of this, she still managed to excel in her endeavors. La'hyza received formal combat training at an unprecedentedly young age, and rapidly showed early signs of unmatched potential, partly due to her well-developed physique. She was on track to becoming one of the greatest fighters Cyrodiil would have ever seen in decades, until everything changed on one fateful night.

At a banquet, during one of the local festivals, La'hyza's parents were ambushed by a group of contract killers sent by their political rivals. She tried to fight back, as the guards on duty were quickly incapacitated by the attackers. However, being young and still raw in her abilities, La'hyza was easily outmatched by the highly trained assailants, and then taken away to an unknown location. There, she was passed around, violated, and used for whatever purpose her kidnappers desired, before being dumped on the side of a road in the middle of nowhere.

Months after her traumatic encounter, La'hyza gave birth to four babies, all with different fur colors and patterns, clearly from four different fathers. She raised and trained her daughters on her own, while moving from one town to another, scavenging and working multiple jobs as a prostitute and as a mercenary. Having never completed her training, La'hyza eventually found out that her skills with weapons were not as highly touted as her skills on a brothel bed. Soon, not only had she gained a reputation as one of the best whores in the rural areas of Cyrodiil, but so had her daughters. Realizing that this was not the life she had wanted for them, La'hyza decided to leave everything behind and move to Skyrim, with the hopes of rebuilding a better life for her family.

Profiles

La'hyza

Spoiler

profile-001.jpg

Although La'hyza is Khajiit, she speaks with a human accent, which she picked up growing up with humans. She does not speak of her past, as she desires to move on from it. However, she still has the tendency to be a bit flirtatious with persons she trust. Her motherly instincts still impel her to feed her daughters, even though they are old enough to be independent.

La'hyza is a talented and balanced combatant who prefers fighting with a melee weapon in one hand and a shield in the other. Her difficult experiences had made her incredibly tough, both mentally and physically. Through the years, she has also gained some ability in the art of restoration, although she has never been good enough at it to be able to heal others.

Kaashni

Spoiler

profile-002.jpg

The de facto eldest daughter in her family, Kaashni was born minutes ahead of her sisters. Her unusually green fur makes her stand out from most other Khajiit. Despite her attractive physique, she was never as successful a whore as her mother and sisters were, likely due to her more dominant and serious personality.

Kaashni inherited her mother's toughness and aggressiveness as a warrior. She is a strong offensive fighter, capable of inflicting heavy blows, while being just as capable of withstanding damage herself. She is ambidextrous and, therefore, skilled in wielding weapons in both hands, which allows her to annihilate her enemies very quickly.

Ja'ya

Spoiler

profile-003.jpg

Compared to her siblings, Ja'ya resembles their mother the most, in terms of her personality and physical build. However, they have had their differences in the past. Growing up, she always had a strong fascination with fire. Much to her mother's displeasure, Ja'ya would often play with candles and bonfires they had around their camps. As she grew older, her fascination evolved into passion, and she would eventually teach herself to manipulate flames for more useful purposes.

Having spent a good deal of her youth haphazardly practicing with flames instead of swords, Ja'ya is a master of neither magic nor one-handed combat. However, her strength lies in her ability to combine both skills, and deal considerable damage to a wider variety of foes.

Daro'ssi

Spoiler

profile-004.jpg

Although not the last one to be born, Daro'ssi was the runt of the litter. As a child, she was considerably smaller and weaker than her sisters. Due to her slight frame, she would often get beaten in combat practice, which initially discouraged her, and compelled her to shift her interests to archery instead. As time went by, however, not only did Daro'ssi learn to use her weakness to her advantage, but she grew taller and soon caught up with her sisters physically as well.

Daro'ssi's light body gives her an edge in combat. Her speed and agility allows her to dodge and outrun most of her enemies. Being naturally gifted in marksmanship, she can easily shoot down enemies from a safe distance, more than making up for her lack of physical durability.

M'liah

Spoiler

profile-005.jpg

Born with beautiful snow-white fur, M'liah is generally considered the fairest one in her family, and, at some point, even used to be one of the most desired whores back in Cyrodiil. Behind her playful exterior, she was always a lethal seductress, often using her good-looks and her well-developed body to manipulate men.

Like her sister Daro'ssi, M'liah also has a relatively lightweight body, albeit possessing an ample chest. Nevertheless, she has the type of dexterity and nimbleness that could confuse and disorient any opponent she faces. M'liah likes employing deadly dual-wielding techniques in combat, swiftly finishing off her targets before they can even react.

The only problem I have with this mod is, that the bodies used aren't UUNP. >< If you get the time, could you make them use the body your game does? As putting any gear on any of them will cause the body to morph to said mesh, making it jarring to put on, and take off gear from them...that's the problem with having npcs with different body types in game.

how much fish she need?

There's no exact number, but generally, just keep giving them fish once each day, until they become friendlier to you. The more fish you give them each day, the faster they become loyal to you. However, giving them too much food in one day will be useless because everything they can't consume will just spoil and go to waste. ?

Thanks for your suggestion! I will consider it. But for now, there aren't any plans yet.

Just replace Meshes with your own...

This mod hasn't been tested with CACO. But it seems that there is a legitimate posibility that you are correct, and that they are not compatible with each other.

Well, now that i think about it. It is possible that the mod uses the same object but shaped differently so it may not be an actual fish you give them but dried fish instead. I've gotta test it out a bit before i can say this with confidence though. Btw is it safe to unpack the .bsa?

edit: Nope, i don't see any new type of dialogue on any of them (extracting the .bsa didn't seem to do anything bad. I also replace your mesh and textures with my own without issues whatsoever). But there are other mods out there that may allow you to increase an npc's disposition, like the "give gifts" mod or "sexlab eager npc's" (the mod is no longer being worked on but it still seems to work well on it's own and i think it will stay that way until something really drastic happens with sexlab for some reason).

Really like the mod so far, minus the dialogue option ofcourse. But atleast now you know to add some extra info on the description page. :)

edit2: Also i really wanna try out your celebrities mod but i don't like that it also overhauls many of the npc's that i aready use mods for. Is it possible to "slice" those off from the main mod and use your additionals instead?

Yeah. I suppose there are work-arounds for users who have CACO installed. Thank you for the info, it will be helpful to those who use the conflicting mod. ?

If the mods you have installed modify only the face and bodies of the vanilla NPCs, then simply installing those AFTER installing the Celebrities mod should do the trick. Make sure to overwrite the FaceGenData face meshes and put the esp of your other NPC overhaul mod below the esp of the Celebrities mod in the load order. In theory, that should give you the added NPCs without affecting vanilla ones.

I'm using Md organizer but the same should apply to it even with facegen files right? I mean the lower placed mod should overwrite the higher placed ones in it's entirety but i could possibly just remove the facegenfiles in the higher mods to be sure but ofcourse that would risk it to not work properly anymore if i decided not to use your mod anymore...hmm, decision decisions... :)

Yes. The one you installed last will overwrite the one you installed previously. I'm not sure how Mod Organizer works because I use a different organizer. But I think it would be best if you do not manually delete the FaceGen files of your other mod. Just to be safe. Install everything through Mod Organizer. Whichever NPC face-changing mod you wish to appear in game, just install it last and place it's esp at the bottom of the load order.

I like the idea, just a few things turn me off on the entire mod. First, if possible I'd love for a standard UUNP version, or one that lets us use bodyslide to make our own instead of the body shapes they come with. Second their stats are to God mode. I wiped out Solitude at lvl 1 with all 5 of them in tow. They had roughly 500 health at level 1.

Also how exactly are they recruitable? I ended up just using Amazing Follower Tweaks and used the make follower spell on them. I gave them River betty's and never got any option to recruit them. Gave them 1 the first day, waited, 6 the second, 24 the third, 100 on the fourth and no option still. They didn't want anything else in my inventory which I think was just apples.

Either way, I like the idea and would definitely keep them in my game if I could get a toned down stats and bodyslide. I'd like them even more if they used the body texture's from

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62193tho keeping the girls unique colors and fur patterns :)

There are no plans to make UUNP version. However, there are links to their BodySlide presets in the description. Their bodies can be replaced with custom ones if desired. But it can only be done manually. ?

I wouldn't say they are in god mode. But they are a little stronger than normal. The reason for this is that I used to make balanced followers before, and I always received plenty of comments saying that they're too weak. People have different play styles. It's not possible to please everyone.

Any Skyrim fish you give them will do. As long as they are not heavily modified by mods. Based on the number of fish you gave them, they still wouldn't be followers on the fourth day. A few more days of feeding them will do the trick.

Ok, I have zero clue on how, my modding skills are minor at best. Barely understand the CK as it is.

I probably did it the most bass ackwards  way possible but did manage to get them to use a CBBE body. Since I use UUNP trying to find a decent CBBE body shape took awhile. Unpacked the pussycats.bsa, Went to the Nexus, downloaded a few followers, copied their femalebody file over the girls and they work just fine for me :). Probably an easier way than that? Still... zero clue on how to work the CK :P

Ah, I guess so, to me they are. At level 1 I imagine most followers should have 100-150 health, anything over 300 to me is quite high. I'd also rather have a weaker follower to begin with. I tend to play with mods that make the game harder. Either way, AFT allows you to tweak stats and combat styles anyways, so when I recruit them, I can bring them down to normal levels.

Wait... 100 fish is not close to being enough? I don't think I've had 100 fish combined in my last 3 characters O_o

Even without extracting the BSA, you can replace the bodies manually. All you need to do is to give your custom bodies the same file names as the body mesh files used in this mod. And place them in the same folders and same paths.

Yeah. My personal preference is also similar to yours. I prefer followers who are more balanced. Because I like doing the actual fighting, and my followers are only there to help. But for the sake of most users, I made them a little stronger than normal.

Well, their character background is that they are a poor family of warriors. So you will need to give them quite a number of fish, because they are a hungry family. And "realistically", if you gave them too much food in one day, they wouldn't be able to consume all of it, and the leftovers would go to waste because there aren't any refrigerators in Skyrim. So it's better to give them just enough food for their family per day. ?

So if I left the BSA in there and just made folders that followed the same path it wouldn't conflict?

So... any chance of doing Argonians and Orcs next? :DMy game is lacking in decent followers of either race. Like maybe an Orc tribe that was destroyed and they are nomadic.

That is correct. Though I haven't tried this myself, in theory, it should work.

I have long been planning to make followers of those races as well. It's just time limitations that are stopping me. So hopefully I get the time to make them. The main reason I made this mod is because I also felt the lack of racial diversity in my Skyrim playthrough. ?

I do prefer them with their original voices, but so few lines exist for khajiit and argonian followers or spouse/followers.  Theres a neat mod called More follower Khajiit voices which some modders use if they want actual voiced Khajiit followers, thats only if you want to make yours with actual voices.

Either way, I'd love to see a race pack for each of them, maybe even a couple Thalmor who are on the run as they abandoned the Aldmeri Dominion.
