Face Textures - I've seen guides recommending the simultaneous use of multiple Face texture replacers; so you may want to try experimenting.

Almost all of the tutorial links on the Spellhold Studio site are dead. Anyone have any other sites/links for modding for noobs? Specifically Blender and making custom races. Thanks in advance! :D

Some good NPC mods...add a heap of new people to your Oblivion world. Many here no doubt are already familiar with most of these...but, if not...well worth installing.

Extended Chorrol.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17843

Extended Skingrad.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19473

Extended Imperial City.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14676

Not Too Ugly NPCs for Companion Share and Recruit.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19407

(These are good CSR companions that level with you...cute, too.)

Added Realistic NPCs. (Jo-Anna Stoneblood is particularly well done. You'll run into her in dungeons as well as the IC.)

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8383

Crowded Roads Advanced (adds traffic to your road travels)

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18251

Crowded Cities 12 (random city folk + muggers, robbers, etc. The 15% version adds the most)

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6665

Life Translated (even more city based NPCs)

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2681

Tavern Goers (add random folks to taverns/inns)

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34744

Housewives. Adds 20+ women to the taverns/inns that you can marry and have live in your Oblivion vanilla houses. They nag, too...lol.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7110

Black Market Merchants. Adds a Shady Sam to every city.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11846

Those all working should add about 500+ NPCs to your world.

If you don't have MBP, you're not totally out of luck as there are a few simple mods that really help...

YOUNGER HOTTER NPC's version 1.0 - Women

Absolutely Sexy Market District for Oblivion

...but, indeed, that one you posted really helps. Make sure 'Absolutely Sexy Market District' is near the bottom of the load order as there are numerous mods including Lovers mods that will trump it.

Another one that I find essential more for the spells it adds is Carcernus Prison Mod. With this you can move NPCs that are stuck which I find handy on many occasions. Plus you have a cool prison that you can toss people into. :)

This one is a must: Essential NPC Unconscious Timer Variants which allows you to choose how long essential characters remain 'dead'.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21425

Particularly essential to me is Hungry Thirsty Sleepy Tired which is a reliable sleep/eat mod and will make all that food, beer and wine suddenly VERY important in the game. Plus it adds the ability to draw water from wells. Hungry Thirsty Sleepy Tired modifies the fatigue system so that you tire much easier while fighting and running/jumping...thus needing more sleep. Better work-out more!

This mod must be run with Oblivions game speed set to x10 or less (default is x30) or you'll be drinking/eating/sleeping all the time. Remember, one vanilla quest requires the time scale to be x30 (the Anvil Haunted House one) when the portal is opened...but apparently this is the only one. In the console, the command is 'settimescale to x' no quotes...x being the value...5, 10, 30, etc.

COBL is also very handy and what I'd term essential, again. Adds lots of nit-picky stuff you'd never bother with otherwise. Plus it comes with useful utilities including a set time scale for those who keep away from the console for whatever reason.

The Loo...this simple mod adds outhouses etc to Oblivion from which you can get the 'Loo Effect' which boosts certain stats and adds a small feather spell for a period of time...or not if you paid your dime and only far...you know the rest. :D

As well, there's the popular Bathing Mod which requires the PC to take a bath regularly or lose personality (more as you stink more). Also adds a 'Bathroom Area' to purchace in the vanilla Oblivion houses and many portable tubs which you can set-up where you like. Adds soap, too...

This is a Link to a compnion mod http://www.mediafire.com/?s5p6piheoffotdp I use but i do not understand in total, cause it is from Japan http://kikimod.jugem.jp/?eid=46. I post the link hoping someone is able to do a translation. The point on this mod is that you can change the fighting style fighter, marksman, mage, priest, berseker and for every fighting style you can give a special outfit and in every style there are special abilitys

Thanks for the link to the 'Loo mod', DogOnPorch! I needed something like that BADLY, with the only toilet in my game being in the basement of 'Futa Prioy', and I already used that for a screenshot (http://www.tesnexus.com/imageshare/image.php?id=108129).

I found the bathing mod about two weeks ago. It's another great 'realism'-enhancing addition to the game.

Before, I only had 'Hentai's Lovely House' bathtub. Among the purchaseable tubs there are exotic things like a blood bath and a blood fountain for vampires or even a Daedric lava bathtub! The mod's only downside is it takes up three ESP slots and one for its ESM. You could do without the vanilla house tubs to save one slot. One of the ESPs alone is for the soap you need for bathing - but I jumped at the chance to do THIS:

Nudity alert, non-adult mod section after all!

The Loo also holds treasures...random items appear in the hole and on the floor of most outhouses. Hold your nose and take a peek. There's a chance of getting a disease. In the IC there's a huge washroom area in one of the parks...the Market district, I think. Yup...a keeper.

Nice pic, btw.

I've been using this for a long time--Create NPC Duplicates.

It's perfect for Lovers because you don't take any npcs off the streets--you just make a copy of them. (You save them in your inventory and then recreate them at home. Use ~ SetName x to change them from 'Joe Duplicate' to 'FreddyKruger'--can only use one name, no spaces allowed.

I also use ~ SetScale x (x should be between .90 to .99 or 1 for short to normal sizes.)

Haven't had one vanish on me yet--but I've only grabbed 'named' people.

The only drawback is that when you recreate them they lose their original stuff and come equipped with the 'kitchen sink' so I always throw that stuff in a chest and forget about it--for role-playing purposes.

This is actually an awesome mod! I've been colouring the backgrounds for my screenshots with an illumination mod for a long time now - but dungeons that have this kind of colour theme by default is even better... And the renamed places are a nice addition. Thanks for linking this file!

Though it's important to mention this mod isn't compatible with 'Real Lights' (part of the 'All Natural' package). Gonna get rid of that one now.
