[Request/Search] Trying to get the GomaPero "Rethi" Look

Really ? Only talk ? Ahah, sir has already disrespected me elsewhere because he did not have what he wanted. He made you pretty much the same thing , as I've seen elsewhere as well. Here people are full of subtleties, I hate it that's all, I like people who say what they think instead of trying to make it understood indirectly :) 

 

PS for Rethi's head : not need head mesh from other custom follower; just use CustomRace, import high poly head from lastest version Goma's follower and enjoy. That's all

why wait for someone else to do stuff you can probably do better? (you know what you want no?)

that's npc85 with some bijin, vanilla and whatever

after generating vanilla npc with the head from anvil

less variety than with random npc replacers, that's about it

if you don't zoom on vanilla head, you barely notice it's blocky

after a few messing around, and some nose and lips that were strange

while you are at it, you can use left side of the texture on the right side since it's about the same

even with one texture per race, you use less ram (4 textures for 3 parts)

you can't do much more than that with just a subdivide of vanilla head (nobody want to do something about those ears?)

i've already started the 1.4 head, maybe i'll work on the high poly Rethi Preset after, but as of right now i'm stuck, the nose, eyes(Maybe) and Hair(i can't find a replica, and i assume if i ask Fallen he'll say it's private so i refrain) are my biggest Obstacles. if i can just perfect those things ill be set with the preset.

why keep that? because the bigger the mod the better it is?

the duplicate vertices on some subdivides of skyrim head, it's v3 ears and jaw from the body, with v3 ears and jaw from the head (if that's v3, but it's probably v3, bake to reptilian uv map or whatever argonian is)

for you morrowind head subdivide x time to get 500 000 vertices it's better than the 900 vertices skyrim vanilla head?

some crap with more vertices stay crap

fallout head have how much vertices? what are you waiting for, go load that in racemenu

yea i know but i mostly want it to start off as base for my elven characters, and i want to give the preset out to people who've been wanting it but can't get it because of the "private club"

that don't mean much since that head don't have tri files

only have 3662, maybe 3dmax and blender are not the same subdivide

ctrl z, delete duplicate, subdivide

wops, removed too much

if you add one vertice between 2 9 times, you get 3227

you are now able to import that on citrus

and your high poly rethi can now speak

 

ps: i don't feel like asking gomapero the autorisation to upload that .obj for someone to import it in a citrus head nif to import it on their char, you want it? do it yourself

chevalierx, can you convert my Myra's head into a high poly head? When I try your method I fail on importing slider data...

This is a good example of the wrong order of vertices.

Obj-shape which you used for slider, and reference shape have same vertices count, but different order.

Bodyslide move vertices by they order. So, if order is incorrect - you will get this abomination.

Not only vertices count is matter for .tri-based animation.

Vertices order is also critical.

And when you do your "subdivide-remove doubles-etc" it changes this order.

if you think that matter so much... just do what you did to the .nif to the .tri

if you just do that, anyone that subdivide a skyrim head can load those tri on it

if you don't want that like citrus, krista and the other, just do something else after the subdivide

Because it does have tri files, as we can see from several /tesg/ waifus with hipoly heads, Halo didn't say anything about offering them to the public, in fact quite the opposite, he said don't ask for them, same page and post as people asking for custom outfits made from commercial models, because he's going to protect his ass from dmcas, same as anyone else with an ounce of common sense.

what does your dmcas have to do with a subdivide of vanilla head?

as if you need to find out what he did to vanilla head to make a high poly version of it

cf above, either you do your own subdivide o the nif/tri, and you give the headpart to the npc, no need for a custom race for that, either you load it on one of the other subdivide that have tri files, there's already citrus, lb, ltg, the one from anvil, and the ones i don't know (that are just a subdivide of vanilla head, now that the head have more vertices, why not morph copy high poly ears on that, just for the nif, no need to do anything to the ears in the tri, base shape and nose5 have same ears, they stay the same as they are in the nif, the only problem is what the race tri elf shape will do to those ears)

if you can morph copy it on citrus or whatever in outfitter...

and if you can do that, you can just subdivide yourself the low poly head, and do the same to the tri files (it's easier than morph copy, less clicks)
