I'm surprised that only about 14.5% of players here prefer vanilla sex adult games.

Come now, you've been a part of the this forum to know 14.5% is actually surprisingly high, given what type of sex screenshots tend to get the most upvotes around here :P

I would love if there's a choice between female and futa (or dickgirl).

However, there's pretty much zero games out there (in vanilla state, without mods) where there's a futa or dickgirl as far as I know. So I usually go with a female. I do occasionally go with male but it's mostly when I have no choice and I don't mind it because I do like the character in question (I.E. ... say something like Breath of the Wild, I play Link, it's fine; I like Link... plus he's sort of effeminate anyway, or something like in Witcher 3, I do like Geralt so I don't mind being "obliged" to play him).

But yeah, when there's a choice (in RPGs, or often in MMORPGs with character creators) then I pretty much 99% of the time go with a female.

However, with this said, if there's mods that can "change" (or add / modify) the female into a futa (or dickgirl) then I'll often go for that instead (not always though, sometimes I just keep the female as is and I'm happy with that). So, the overall gist is that there's a huge (almost exclusive) preference for female characters, with a very slight very selective and occasional male venture here and there.

And, well, to remain more 'clear' in my opinion (and tastes) I'll mention that I actually voted for "Female, Vanilla", since that represents most games (with a female) in the industry (I.E. if there's no mods like I said earlier, it's going to be a 'vanilla' female and that will be it).

I meant the question to be game/state of reality independent. Like, if a game offered all these choices, what would you pick? Or if a weird genie was like, all games now have this as the protagonist, what would you pick? Or if a game developer didn't know which direction to go to make a brand new game, what would you want?

I chose based on only Fallout or Elder Scrolls since they seemed like the only applicable scenarios fron what I can tell.

CDPR games are probably the only other scenario I can see being applicable. Geralt is an already established character but i think CP2077 may allow this choice. It seems likely given that the player is customized even though game is 1st person. Actually gets me thinking it varies hugely depending upon the content itself as well as the people making it.

Just from what I've seen from LL mods so far, I think Female Sub is the most interesting one. But for Cyberpunk I can't imagine submissive player character being a thing. It matters what the devs will want to do and my gut feeling is that roleplaying as dominant or neutral to dominant will make a lot more sense there. Given how amazing Witcher turned out and Geralt himself, I suspect he is a reflection of what CDPR writers/designers most favor. Based on the female VA in the gameplay footage she will be a badass sort of character with strong personality. My RP mindset will be to assume she has a very dominant personality, I guess first impressions can influence a lot.

But IMO overall sub is most interesting because it's basically only found in LL mods, I can think of nowhere else in games that this exists. Only female sub is interesting though because male sub has been meme'd by too many protagonists from low quality yet still mainstream anime, to the point of being beyond beating a dead horse. Outside of modding, I think female sub has not been done before in games.

I selected both dom, sub and switch for both female and futa.  Some character concepts just feel assertive, others obedient, and others feel like they change, or get changed.

I don't play male characters in most games, but femboys?  Yep, if they're in the mix, I'll play a subby femboy enthusiastically...

Given a choice, fem vanilla/sub, however if a game's decent enough where you're a male protag then that won't stop me. Don't really like being the dominant one, so dom's out.

As Z0mBieP00Nani said, I "live my life as a male", so it ends up being that I'll be playing as a female in most cases.

I'd never play as a herm/futa. Others can like that for all they want, but those are just really high up on my "fetishes I really dislike" list.

This all being said, I can't really say that I play all that many "adult" games. Intense sexual themes, nudity, F/F action, etc? Sure. But so far, I've never really been one for hardcore M/F action in my games, which is why I haven't really ended up doing much with a lot of the adult mods found here.

I like it dark. Evil queen dom or helpless slave sub in a horrific nightmare world (Dark Souls meets Lord of the Rings). Fantasy violence is hot.

It's an interesting concept. I'd like to see a villain/antagonist who is an evil queen dom. I think I'd most like to see gameplay scenario where the player may or may not fall into the dom's influence and become their slave, and it'd be interesting if that meant adventuring with them doing what they want.

Mods here seem to be the best at handling this kind of theme.

And in a meta kind of way, I interpret that FO4 player character can be described as submissive due to stuff like the dialog system and radiant quests. Like, picking what's usually the "No/Disagree" option will have the player express that they clearly don't want to do x/help the NPC but it seems like 90% of the time quest will get accepted anyways and follow up dialog will be like they convinced the player to do it anyways. She can't say no to Preston, he gets her to do all the work and we see when settlers talk to him that he takes all the credit.

When playing a third person game I 100% prefer to play female character, when playing a first person game it doesn't matter since I can not able to see my character, but prefer to play as a female character. As far as dom and sub most of my female characters mentally are doms they hate giving in to their baser instincts and would rather control then be controlled. I am an avid table top RPGer and I try to explore different female personalities in the games I play.

Male vanilla mostly. Sometimes I like it when a woman takes control and dominates if in a very aroused mood. Otherwise its basics for the most part.

Rarely play the chick, maybe as a perverted teenage boy back in the day just to see jiggly boobs in first person all the time while chuckling and grinning like one of those creeps in a hentai. But otherwise I'm myself in majority of games I'm not into RP. I do not like RP. No belly button lint everywhere.

Games allow me to be myself without fear, in worlds where I can feel accepted by people unlike in the real world. Where I can find love and peace of mind. No judgement, no harassment, no suicidal thoughts. Skyrim, Sims 3, Oblivion, FO3, FO4, and the Sims 4 are great places to escape reality to find a place without weight on one's shoulders.

CoC?

Close. It's called "Lilith's Throne"

It looks and plays a lot nicer than CoC, namely, no fuckhuge walls of text for scenes, no "creator's favorite fetish" being plastered all over the place (in CoC's case, futas with horsecocks everywhere), and it's more of a "sandbox" at this point in time, with more content for the main quest being added bit-by-bit. The only fetishes that aren't in it are guro/gore, snuff, scat, watersports, and anything to do with underage characters (there are none). You can even have children, and (after they become adults, iterally in like a second because m a g i c) fuck them, so incest is a thing (only if you want to). Every fetish/kink in the game can be turned on or off if you don't want it.

The enchantment system is badass too. Simply put, you can "enchant" pre-existing food/drink items to have other effects and properities. You can do mundane stuff like just turn them into healing/mana(Aura, in the game), or make them transform any body part you want, increase/decrease sizes, increase/decrease how much cum/milk/'girlcum' you generate, the properties *of* said fluids (addictive, lemon-flavored, chocolate-flavored, etc.). You can give yourself fetishes, or remove them if you don't want them. You can even give other characters poisons to transform them, or to give them a fetish.

Basically it's CoC's potions except, by default, they don't change anything permanently, only *after* you enchant it to *do* something permanent (so you don't have to play the "common sense guessing game" when you want to figure out what something does but don't want to savescum)

Also one large disclaimer: YES, THERE ARE FURRIES IN IT. MOST OF THE STORY CHARACTERS ARE FURRIES. YOU CAN TURN THEM (the non-major characters, anyway. You'll have to deal with some furry stuff) OFF AND REPLACE THEM WITH HUMANS WITH A SIMPLE PRESS OF A BUTTON (though some characters don't have non-furry versions of their portraits/characters implemented yet)

If you really hate furries, you can just get rid of most of them with the click of a button (though imps, succubi, and incubui will remain for obvious reasons). If you really LOVE furries, you can get rid of all the potential to encounter humans. Which brings me to my next point:

Everything is customizable. Say you like dog-morph furries but don't like cat-morphs? Bam, you can set all chance of encountering cat-morphs to 0 while leaving dog-morphs just fine. Say you don't like the weird, uncanny flat human faces of "lesser" animal-morphs? You can set it so you'll only encounter "greater" animal-morphs (basically the anthros everyone knows and loves or hates)

Jesus fucking christ I've already spent like 20 minutes writing what's basically an advertisement for a text-based porn game over a simple "Is it CoC?" question so I'll stop. Basically, it's cool, and I think it's going places.

Link is here https://lilithsthrone.blogspot.com/ The very latest version takes a few days to be available to the public, but if you're good at compiling raw files, you can get everything off the GitHub and compile it yourself, and get to play it before everyone else can. There's never any "pay me on patreon to get early access" crap.

Speaking of patreon, it can be found on that blog in the top right of the page, and it gives a very good "cliff-notes" version for everything I've described and a lot of things I didn't yet cram into this post that isn't even supposed to be here, I don't think. This isn't the "Adult Games" forum.

(Note to mods: Jesus christ this is so much crap I've typed that I can't even figure out what to edit out that doesn't belong here. If it's a problem, please just delete it if you have to. This is actually incredibly fucking embarassing)

I like to play a Man-Herm (Full Hermaphrodite with male looking characteristics and male chest). It's downright impossible to find any game that actually alows for that kind of build without it being a fully costomisable character creation (Like CoC, TiTS, Lilith's Throne and opthers with those mechanics) because everyone expects a herm to be female, when in-fact the basic herm in Rl is actually non-gender (Cells always get it first) and the normal herm creature is the common earthworm.

Maleherms are the best kind of herms, imo. :3

So I just put in like 5 hours into the game last night and wow.

It does get a little repetitive after 5 hours but it's so good!
