(sees the goat part of the video) it looks like someone needs to read my install guide ?

Dude had a short bit in the review of my Hagraven replacer where he focused on the bird feet (to showcase them, I guess?) and there was a blatant seam at the ankles. I'm not talking about a texture mismatch, but rather a full-blown and very obvious physical gap between feet and legs. How can anyone consider that okay? I wouldn't be able to record and post such a thing. Not even on purpose. That looks wrong. And yet there it is for anybody to see.

Didn't really go past that part except for a bit of the goat one, which wasn't exactly successful either.

Does this guy really don't know how to mod (aka read mod descriptions) properly, or does he not care/do it on purpose as part of the act?

Oh, boy. I remember the first time I saw your thread and that gif. A whole new world of possibilities opened before my eyes that very instant. It was beautiful... ?

Maybe just a guess here...but likely using CBBE or some variant thereof? Not sure if the modded Hagravens use whatever installed body/clothing meshes are installed, but...

I have no idea if he will find the Shark Race mod, and actually feature it in a video, but...if so, I would love to see how he dances around Mizuno...

Yeah, sounds like it. CBBE has slimmer wrists and ankles than the vanilla body so the seams are also thinner. As for the Hagravens, they do use whatever body/clothing meshes are installed, but the hands and feet are custom and fit to the vanilla/UNP seams. And I state it very clearly in the description that an UNP-compatible body is required for the mod. Which he obviously doesn't use.

So, as I said, either can't read mod descriptions/doesn't know how to mod, or doesn't care about them/is part of the act ("see, I'm a normal person and not a perv, so that's why I don't know how to mod, 'cause I've never used mods like these! Right, that's it! Never been to LL before! Ever! Pinky swear. But don't check my browser history!").

Don't think he will for now. But if he keeps on "reviewing" the latest/updated mods, it may pop up on his radar once the update drops and he might even decide to review it as well. In which case, I'd like to see that too, lol.

No, but it's what has just got me a slapped wrist.

So misogyny, slavery, bestiality, necrophilia et al but strictly no name-calling.

I think there is a spiritual term for this. I think it was "fapping in peace"?

There's fantasy and there's reality. You're playing a game in one and interacting with real people with the other.

That's a very simple distinction.

as for me i was too aggravated to feel joy at the time trying to get the fucking thing to work, then there was leaning to make SLAL Packs, use FNIS and animating 2 actors at the same time....HOW THE FUCK DID I SURVIVE ALL THAT SHIT????

Apparantly it's ok to wish economic disaster on ~60 million people just because you disagree with their democratically arrived at decision. And no, I didn't vote for so-called Brexit.

Actually it is not that is why i removed my comment. political will only derail this topic furthur. That part was uncalled from me so i appologise if i hurt anyonce feeling.

No it isn't. They are both aspects of your persona.

And if we are all just aspects of the Atman or Nirvana or Tao then  . . .?

Most people have no problems distinguishing fantasy from reality. This is how normal people react to video games, books, and movies.

Millions of people play GTA and don't steal everything in sight and kill everything that breathes. Millions play call of duty or battlefield and don't shoot everyone speaking a different language.

We can and should treat real people with respect while at the same time playing games that let us explore darker fantasies in a safe way, be that murdering or fucking (or being fucked by) virtual characters. Hell, in most of our societies, the virtual murdering is both ok and mainstream, while virtual consentual sex isn't. If our larger society won't do it, we at LL should at least be inclusive of and respectful to everyone, even if we don't see eye to eye on every kink, political issue, or favorite YouTuber.

MxR has been covering LL mods since he first started his channel. Why is this a concern? MxR hate train? Oh right

Hating on MxR is pointless.  Not that it matters what I think, but I THINK he needs a new gimmick or shtick.  His videos are kinda like watching a rodeo.  Seen one you seen 'em all.

And him featuring LL mods is a non-issue since the type of people who might complain have no power unless you give it to them.  Some petty bureaucrat in an E.U. country might try get LL censored in his own country but he can't affect LL as a whole.  The site owner is a U.S. citizen and the site itself in hosted in the U.S.   He and the site are immune to E.U. wankery; 1st Amendment freedom of expression and all that jazz.

Basically this thread is a just a bunch of gas about nothing, like almost everything else on social media-style sites.

I watched it for the first time.  Not hating on MxR here but I felt he took more care with the verbal presentation than the actual content shown. I do not think I have seen so many graphical errors in one of his reviews before this one.  Nobody but him could say as to the motivation for the presentation or the almost complete negative wrap it seemed to have. While LL may not offer securities like the Nexus, we all have heard of Nexus bad scripted Mods, Links to risky sites and so on. I cannot say I have ever had such problems with LL, in fact pretty sure I have seen Mod warnings in support forums on some Mods (you don't get that on the Nexus) let alone the privilege of actually talking to Mod Authors and others who offer expert advice and experience (even that experience of "been there said "oh Fuck"".

If anyone should be pissed it is the site owner of LL for the bad intro to LL, alot of which many users will vouch was Bullshit.

This thread has served its purpose, at least for me. The deadlock is reached imo.

Some believe that 'promotion' by an outsider that doesn't even share our basic values is okay and would only have a positive impact on LoversLab, if ever.

Others are sure that exactly that might easily have negative repercussions and/or are somewhat offended by negative commentaries of the man about LL .

Some are softliners, others hardliners, one might say.

I for one am a hardliner, always was. I have my fuckin' principles, God knows why.

However, my time in the gamer scene taught me one thing - fighting for people is sometimes a passion play, a very heroic thing, esp. the heroic end of the fighters.

Where is Superman when you need him most? Damn it!

Have a good one!

Ever read any books on the subject?

I said it was not a 'very simple distinction'. I did not say there was no distinction.

How do you define , and who are you to define,  what is normal?

Are you saying there is no slavery, rape, prostitution, bestiality? No pony clubs, BDSM dungeons and who knows what else in the 'real' world? Do people not steal cars? Games are based on 'real' life. Real life is not based on games.

Would you not realise your fantasies if you could do so safely and cheaply?

Well, I watched the video in question.  The way it was presented, the implied shortcomings (real or not) of the mods he featured, and the general tone all had a clear message to me; he's subtly trolling the site.  And I know trolling because I'm good at it and all of my online friends are trolls.

What he did in the video isn't overt like 'haha u gud modderz'.  It was more of 'wtf are these people thinking' from the perceived high ground of he knows what good mods are.  Like somehow a Youtube channel makes him an expert on quality.  What he showed in the video wasn't false BUT by implication he demonstrated LL mods are fundamentally flawed; huge seams we all know how to fix, missing meshes we all know how to fix, animations not playing that we all know how to fix.  I think that was intentional on his part for the normie lulz his fan base wants.  LL just happened to be the butt of the joke.

My suggestion is to ignore him.  Feel good about your community and the work you do.

Trolling!! Thats the term I was looking for... Thanks, that is exactly what I thought the presentation was. (Actually crossed my mind that he may have some sort of grudge against LL?)

I recognized it cause I use almost the same Trolling tactic when on Religious and Political sites (polite, sincere but condescending rules for the best insults with the best reactions...)

No, he hasn't. Has anybody ever had such a thing on LoversLab?

It's the manifestation of a desperate frustration born out of own strong sexual longings and a total submission to those that deny him these longings - it's self-mockery of a sorry figure that blames us on LoversLab for his personal shortcomings, the striking lack of a spine that is required not just to come here in the dark and leave already before dawn like a thief in the night but to stay and become part of the community of the free.

He has made his choice. So be it. Live long and prosper.

Well I'm not gonna bash a Youtuber for doing what Youtubers do.  He's generating clicks and views and he has a paid endorsement as an advertisement in his video.  'Use this product.  Buy my merch.'  LL is an adult site with porn ads.  There's nothing regressive Progressives can do it so stop worrying about NPC normies torpedoing the site.

So I have always loved MxR's mods, enjoy watching them, and regularly will just start at the top of the playlist and play them all until done.  I've already watched all his Skyrim mod reviews twice this year.  He has beautiful mods to make the game world look amazing, he reviews fantastic mods regularly that I wouldn't know about otherwise, and in general I feel his contribution to the modding community has been very positive for my own experience.

He reviewed my mod, turned on the adult options and gave it a straight up review. While on default settings it just adds stockings, the option is there to enable all those adult tattoos and that's what he wanted to show.  That's a fair cop.  I've removed my promotion describing my current mod in progress because I don't want that trouble, as unlikely as it would be for any trouble to come.  It's uncomfortable to be displayed in this context to a wider audience than this community, but hey, it's a free internet and I wouldn't want it any other way.
