Why do you play as a MALE/FEMALE ?

Recommended Posts

I am a male

I play both! I use lunari race with custom textures/meshes/tint masks for the female to get the Asian RPG look I want and 90% of the time I just play her because she looks so damn cool. When I play something like Amorous in the same play through though I switch my gender to male and Lunari uses the base game Nord look for the male but allows you to still use PCEA it is a bonus. Saving the damsels as a two handed sword carrying bearded barbabrian is just more appealing when the time is right. But mostly anime inspired ladies with big weapons is my thing.

There are only two genders, and since I have a massive 8 inch penis, that means I'm male.

I play mostly male, female occasionally when I get bored. But playing female makes me uncomfortable at times.

I try to play exclusively as a male Khajiit as that's what I can personally identify with the most. It feels weird playing a game like The Witcher 3 and not having a tail.

Current playthrough is with my argonian-to-dragon mod I've been working on for the last month or so.

I'm male, I play both. My main Character is a male arcane Assassin who uses deception and trickery as well as direct and fastly responding behaviour, depending on the situation. When I'm playing him, I try to find the perfect balance between action and romance, which is why I absolutely love the "Amorous Adventures" mod. My male character is some kind of a roleplay, I try to play how I would live if it was actually me, with some exceptions, but I think you know what I mean.

Oh, and I LOVE to take screens with him.

My female character however is some kind of a kink related thing, and she has very different stories to go through, depending on my mood. Sometimes she's a strong fighter, a vampire or a mage, sometimes I spend countless hours on her only to use her as prostitute for literally everything that lives in skyrim. But I don't take her serious. She's not a character I can relate to, it's just like a porn game that I play to get off and that's it. A bad habit you could say. Because porn just doesn't do it for me.

I'm male and I play both. I usually play as males when I want to play as a brute with huge weapons and even bigger bloodlust.

When I play as females, it's usually either someone disgustingly weak and helpless or a demon type thing with a huge dick who rapes pretty much everything in sight. The mods are there, might as well use them.

This is an interesting complex to explore indeed. I am male, and generally play male characters, but when it comes to Sexlab-ified Skyrim that just doesn't feel like an option that could maintain my interest. Much of the content, particularly player submissive content, is designed for females to some degree. However with that, I can't pinpoint whether I feel like I am my character or whether I'm distinct from her in they way in which I experience what's happening, which is the most curious part about it for me.

I am male and 98% of the time I play male.  I usually create females for screenshot purposes.  I find making beautiful women easy, whereas making a good looking male is hard, since I don't know what is considered good looking in terms to men.  But women?  Women are easy to create for me.  I find it easier playing a male though since I am one.  Usually I make them look kinda like myself.  Big, gruff, and rough.  There are a ton of clothing options, cosmetics and poses for women though.  So I treat them like virtual dolls and dress them up.  So in closing males for gameplay, females for the pictures.

I honestly have no specific reason why I play as a female, but I have had a reason before...

When I first started playing back in 2012 on the PS3 I first started off a few separate saves as a redguard male, it just never stuck until I saw Irelleth, Balgruf's housecarl, to me she looked really cool. So I gave it a thought, and of course I started a new game as a female Dark Elf and stuck with it... Until after a few months after I got on the PC in 2014, I then explored the capabilities of character creation with mods and the like.

Now in 2019 I play a corrupted Satyr girl who has some traits of my IRL self, brown eyes, long straight(ish) brown hair, big schlong...

I'm not certain as to why I play like this now but it might be because the character I envisioned myself as is a girl who was transformed into a satyr from too much daedric influence (and likes light bondage I guess haha), also I think CoC played a part in it as well.

male is badass not beautifull (badass look)

so as male badass armor + weapon and kill them all

women beautifull for fashion and pics and some fetish , and become boring with time

When I play as male, I have almost no adult mods active, I usually roleplay as a paladin/crusader, I have a couple of combat improvement mods, a lot of quest and overall content mod - Legacy of the Dragonborn, Vigilant, Bruma etc.

I played 100 hours as my latest male character, and I haven't gone to Bruma yet, maybe I'll come back to that save someday.

Females are somewhat "opposite": I have all of usual mods (when I play male) installed, but also a lot of mods from LL.

The notable difference is, as male I have my entire body covered, including face, as a female... not so much.

I'm also unable to play as female character for more than 30 hours per character, I often drop it faster though, I guess when the biggest reasons why I play are boobs, butt and wild kinks (and feminine penis ?) it gets boring quite fast.

When I play male, I don't have that problem, it's just easier to immerse myself as a full heavy armor berserker.

Funny thing, my male/female playing be projected as a sinusoid

100 hours of 1 male -> 100 hours of females (a couple of different chars) -> repeat. The further from X axis means me having more fun.

I play as female (as a female) because the style of the males in the game are not my taste. All the male textures and created content are suited for "manly" men, like the rustled and weathered type. I like pretty / flower boys, and the mods that do cater to those make them look like pudding. ?

Is even this too 'manly'?

If so, the FemBoy Thread might be what you're looking for.

I weigh the pros and cons.   In RP involved multiplayer games I am almost always male. I play a female Conqueror in For Honor because the male's shoulders are too broad and block too much of the screen. In Skyrim I'm always female because a lot of mods are only compatible with females.  Also there's no good masculine name for 'shieldmaiden'

I’m a male and I almost always play as a male. I play mostly in 1st Person, and tend to see myself in my character (who often tends to look like an idealized version of myself). I do keep a harem of female followers to look at.

Lately, I’ve been doing kind of a meta-roleplay. I see it as myself visiting a park that’s essentially Westworld but it’s Skyrimworld and the NPCs are the hosts. Sometimes I wear the metaphorical white hat, sometimes the black. Either way, I’m on vacation in a world where I’m free to do whatever I want to the hosts. It’s like I’m playing a game in which I’m me playing a game, if that makes any sense. It’s the closest I’ll probably ever get to visiting a sexventureland park like Westworld.

That sounds reminiscent of what the protagonist/player does in the Skyrim adult modding-themed manga which roughly translates to "NPC Rape Mod".

I´m male and I play roughly 70% of the time as a female character. My reasoning for my choice actually depends on the game, in many cases I personally think that the designers just put a lot more effort into female facial features, armors and animations than into their male counterparts. For example in FFXIV a lot of animations look very stiff on male characters with a lot less joint movement whereas female characters almost do a little dance with every move. Also armors are a big selling point for me, in the case of dark souls 2 there was simply no set that really fitted my liking on male characters, but I had plenty of options for females. On the other hand I never bothered playing female on dark souls 3 simply because I enjoyed the male sets way too much. But also just simply because for me looking at an attractive female character sets endorphins free so that's a big plus.

I'm male and I like to place myself in my characters shoes.

Because of that, if given a choice I always play as male except for Skyrim. I'd love to play Skyrim as male too but there is so little content designed for male characters on this website. Most of best mods are for female player only...

Outside of porn modding, I played as male.
