I took your advice and saved it in CK for SE. It looks OK so far, I ran a few gathering quests and 2 main quests.

 

2 small things with the main quests:

 

1) I had to go to Fort Hraggstad. Laura said that there are bandits there. It was in fact an imperial stronghold, due to CW. The quest worked fine, it was just a bit strange to have that NPC there, among the soldiers.

 

2) When returned to Laura with Dynane, she was lagging behind a bit and she did not enter the Shop. So the dialog between her and Laura was one sided. Again, the quest did not break, it was just awkward.

 

Edit: Actually, I reloaded, led Dynane to the door and she still did not enter. I don't know if this has anything to do with my zero-skill conversion.

Like Pheanial said, you need Expansion.

Expansion isn't an addon, so it's important that you get it working.

i just figured it out so i'll try this mod anyway thanks for answering

Hey all,

 

I hope you're all doing well.

I'm going to take a break for about a month for personal reasons.
During that break, I won't be here to respond to your suggestions and feedback, but there are plenty of people here that can help you out. :)

Maybe I'll keep writing dialogue and stuff for the mod, but I'm not sure.

Perks are conditional, meaning if you have a quest with a variable set to the current time of day, you can set that GetVMQuestVariable [quest] [variable] < (use global) and the Time Of Day global, it'll fire, there is actually a screenshot of how to do it in a condition earlier on in this thread.  But the quest script's declaration at the top has to have Conditional and the variable you want to use in GetVMQuestVariable also has to have Conditional or neither will show up in the CK.

Would suggest checking for "AI" state and Restrained on the NPC, because some enemies are tied to quests that won't move or can be activated, ran into both of those on code that detected enemies, so the team would fight a restrained AI off enemy, so obviously, nothing would happen.  You can find one like that in the Dawngard Castle upstairs in a pillar behind the mannequin.  Most of the time they're used for voicing in quests where you hear a voice talking to you but you cannot see them, the AI is off and they're restrained but are an NPC speaking the required lines, which may become movable later near the end of the quest.  Also, an NPC set restrained while in a "dead" position will look dead (Draugr), but in fact are not, most of the time (Draugr), NPCs will be restrained with their AI off until you do something to "wake them up".

 

 

Now onto something I came up with:

 

We know that Laura and Katrina are the only two in the shop, Laura is the owner and Katrina is the muscle, so, with that being known:

 

You walk into the shop, Katrina is crawling around on the ground, a dead bandit is nearby and Laura is nowhere to be seen.  After talking to Katrina who is still down for the count (incapacitated), says that a bunch of bandits came in, she got one of them before they subdued her, then they tied and gagged Laura (who likes being tied and gagged, so she didn't put up a fight) and then carried her off out of the store, that Katrina is too weak to follow and that you need to go after Laura, but she has no clue where they went (because she IS inside a building and isn't psychic like the guards are).  If visiting Katrina hours later and no Laura, she would be sitting in the chair recuperating from the ordeal and she would have other dialogue that would say "can't go, still recovering, plus can't leave the store unguarded, they could come back".

 

So from here, you'd have to go out, find a guard nearby, ask if they'd seen the bandits run off with Laura (suspicious activity), depending on the direction they went, could be a few spots they'd go, so guards in those directions may/may not have any information.   So whichever guard "saw" a group of "individuals" carrying someone away, they'll direct you to a bandit hideout to go look for Laura in (may not be right, could have to do multiple locations, where you'd have to return to the guard to see if he/she has other ideas).

 

Upon getting to the right location and finding Laura, you'd find her in a variety of situations from being tied up, strung up somehow, or just walking around doing chores (like a good slave).  Defeat the bandits, collect her belongings (keys, etc), find the key to unlock her bindings and escort her back to the shop.  (Randomly after unlocking her could also trigger an entrance spawn of a bunch of hard bandits to keep you from taking their prize who just happened to return from a raid.)

 

After getting her back to the shop, she thanks you for the rescue and offers you an outfit piece for free, but only if you model it.

Yeah, I do like that idea, GuruSR. Sounds like a fun quest.

 

One thing that struck me, though, is that Laura wouldn't go along with it out of a love of bondage - because there's no trust or consent in that scenario, which are the essential things d/s, and this mod, are built around. She'd probably hate every minute of the experience.

 

And that got me wondering... There's an encounter in The Witcher 3, where Geralt stumbles across a thief robbing a woman in an alley at night. Geralt being Geralt, he steps in to defend her, only to discover...

...that he's ruined a kinky, consensual roleplay session.

 

What if something similar were to happen here? Say, the player finds the shop closed with some evidence of a struggle, and is given the objective to follow the tracks and find out what happened. The quest leads you to a bandit camp where Laura can be found, gagged and helpless. So you heroically wade in and beat the heck out of the bandits, while Laura seems highly distressed. They don't put up much of a fight (they'd need to be essential) and Laura can't express herself with the gag, but you start to realise something isn't right. And then Katarina appears to ask what on earth Nirn you're doing. The whole thing was a staged fantasy experience for Laura that you've just ruined. You could then have the option to improvise and try to salvage it, by "failing" in your rescue attempt and joining Laura as a second helpless slave to be enjoyed by the bandits, turning it into a memorable evening for everyone.

 

Anyway, I know you're taking a (well-deserved) break, Laura, but perhaps this is some food for thought for the future.

Actually, if I remember correctly, Laura was a Sub to a Dom, bandits running in and overpowering Katrina would be a dominant situation, for them to dominate Laura would mean Laura would know that if she resisted, she could end up like Katrina and at her size, she isn't much of a match for a bunch of bandits, so would be better to not resist or suffer personal injury or death, plus, she is used to being bound and gagged, so she wouldn't be fussing while being carried off because if she is "good" no harm will come to her.  The way I see a Dom/Sub relationship, trust is earned, so for Laura to go without resisting would be in her benefit.

 

Though it may not be in YOUR benefit especially if you're in the middle of a delivery run, a curse quest, to come back and find she's gone.

Hey, I got the v3.14 update and running it under SE. ROFL, I still can't get the key (no key, dialog) in the slavers cave. I did try to remove (pick pocket) the gags off the girls but they didn't have the gags in their inventory. However, their other restraints were. Is this an SE glitch? OR, am I just not able to do this, I'm soooo confused. LOL

 

Another thing I noticed doing the Jade quest, Laura left me in the cell/prison and told me to get some sleep. Wasn't going to let me out till morning.

Maybe put a hay pile in the corner of the cell to sleep on? Just a thought. I just used TIME/WAIT and waited that way.

 

I really do like the idea of a punishment if your late on a delivery, I hope you can fix the timed gear, that would make a good punishment. Hopefully a few different ones.

 

Other than a quest into an area (now this is fixed in the update) that I needed to unlock with another quest, I haven't had any issues with any of the quest. (Well, except unlocking the door in the slaver area.)

 

This MOD is by far my favorite one. Thank you so much for the creativity behind it. And, I'm really looking forward to the rest of the "Perfect Girl" quest line. ?

I'm kinda looking forward to be enslaved again, or at least my girl is.

Check if your DD install and FNIS behaviors are alright, reinstall and rebuild them if necessary.

The key is placed in the area as an object pickup, you don't get it through dialogue, if that's what you mean.

You don't need to sleep, the scene will fade to black to simulate the passage of time. It's best not to do anything and let it play out uninterrupted.

We couldn't reliably replicate this error during testing, and the occurences were not deterministic as far we could tell. Could be Skyrim just tisming out. All you can do is reload an earlier save and try again. Refusing the sex here usually carries less of a chance of anything going wrong with the scene.

Thanks for the reply, yep that fixed it.

 

New issue - the black ebonite catsuit is appearing purple. I guess that means it's missing a texture? I have the latest DD for SE installed, zaz anim/pack 8+, have run BS, FNIS. Not sure what I'm missing. I don't see additional textures I may be missing. Thanks

See if you toggle/reset archive invalidation in your mod manager solves the issue.

The chest key for 27's toys yes, I found that. I was referring to the storage room where the 2nd ledger is.

FYI, I have spent a few hours in there searching for that storage room key, It's somewhere kind of simple right?

OK, lol, I never waited that long. I haven't had an issue doing that but I'll wait from now on.

I would like to say that this is an incredible mod.  It would be impressive from a seasoned modder, to think that this is your first is even more amazing.  The store is neat, stylish and not overdone.  The characters are well scripted and likable.    The quests are engaging, I usually progress quests when I am in the area, but I have been wanting to follow this quest to see what happens.

 

Laura is adorable, I want her key.  Can you make a repeatable quest where Laura has locked herself in her belt for the night or to do a delivery and "accidentally" misplaces her key or has it stolen.  I am sure Katarina will have plenty of opportunity for clever banter at this "unfortunate" event as it is a repeatable quest and happens often.  A quest to retrieve it from a random location but you can refuse to give it back.  Next time she frees you from some restraints she could take advantage and lock a belt on you with her most powerful plug of course.  Then it is a battle of wills to see who will give in first.  Naturally, Laura is having too much fun and wont give in so the quest ends when you give back the key and are released.  It will be short quest but should provide a situation for some entertaining dialogue from the characters.  Katarina: "Oh great, now you are both locked up, that's just what I need."  Laura: "If you are feeling left out, stand by the fire and turn around."  Katarina:  "I would sooner let you put me in a straitjacket."  Laura: "That sounds like a good idea."  Katarina:"stay away from me with that thing"  Laura:"That's no fun. Can you put me in the straitjacket then?"  Katarina: "Next time why cant you lose the key to your gag."  Okay so my script writing is not very good but you get the idea.

 

I really just started reading the posts to find out how to continue the main quest but I see that it is currently incomplete.   Nooooo.. the suspense.  or a tease :)   I hope you get some good recharge on you break and come back inspired for a continuation.

Thank-you so much. I finally found it. YEA Fourth times the charm right? ROFL

OMG, I can't believe it, my girl is a bit of a clepto, I just can't believe I missed it 3 times. ARUGH!!!!

 

On a side note. While talking to Laura about the belt I'm wearing, she seams to be stuck in that dialog.

When you're done, shouldn't she return to her main dialog? 

I just tab out and start over, just not sure if she's supposed to do that.
