Well it's negligible to you or i, as it doesn't stop us playing the character we choose, or change the way we would play the game. Its not negligible to trans people as it lets them play as a character they identify with. Again, who is harmed here? Other people being included doesn't mean that you're being excluded.

Gas lighting is me seeing something with my own eyes and you telling me 'That's not what you're seeing.'  THAT is gas lighting and that's exactly what you've been trying (and failing) to do.  And now you're using a straw man by saying that my argument is about 'gross' trans people playing a game so that your stance will somehow seem more valid.  You're also pretending that my pointed responses are somehow not responses.

The issue is CDPR removed ALL genders.  They excluded males and females, otherwise I'd be able to pick one during character generation.  THAT is what they did and THAT is the issue.  Did they include a 3rd gender?  NO, they removed two existing genders already programmed into the game and replaced them with a 3rd.  By being 'inclusive' CDPR excluded two groups of players.  That's what happened, there's interviews with the devs where they state what they did and why they did it.

From The Developers own mouth - "you choose your body type and we have two voices, one that’s male sounding, one is female sounding. You can mix and match. You can just connect them any way you want". 

 

You have literally lost no options here. You can still play as a male or a female character.

They didn't, its right there in the quote above. It's not a matter of semantics, its a matter of basic logic. If you can choose either gender, how can they have removed gender? They changed a binary choice to more choices, they don't stop you picking from either gender, you can do that or or making a monty python style mashup. You're railing at a nonexistent issue.

M + F + (Creating Gender)  =  C.G + (M + F)

Fact is - High and Mighty CDPR used 1st formula at the beginning of the marketing but after the demand of media queen Anita Sarkeesian to remove gender from their game and hire her as a specialist making cybersexuals, or the game will flop right at the release with the abused power of feminism and queers. CDPR insta dropped their balls and used the 2nd formula deviating their original concept of beautiful 3P camera cutscenes.? Its right out there

They've removed the option to play as male or female, although you can still play as male or female. Got it. 1+1=3. Understood now.

Except none of that happened. She didn't get hired and sexual options are still in the game. Your fetish being dropped doesn't redefine what game is.

I'm familiar with the issue or i wouldn't have weighed in. I just don't agree with your narrative.

 

CDPR have a history of taking a bit of flack over their twitter feed, which a total of three people and a handful of games bloggers care about. In response they've made a tiny change to the character creator which has no game-play effects. That's the entirety of this non-story. Anita Sarkeesian tweeting something does not equal a conspiracy. And i still have no idea what you think third person cut-scenes inclusion or absence has to do with anything?

Sorry,I have to agree with Kendo on this one,no one talked or mentioned about Twitter news.Just look at all the videos that people are posting for discussion about CDPR CP2077 marketing position in " general ".At least they can provide under the videos the links on the subject for researching if one's interested.

That's the 2nd issue worldwide community not agreeing with CP2077 choice,as they false advertised at the beginning that 3P cut-scenes are the major role for creating your character and the existence of create a character system by logic, as the shooting mech is in 1P only. Otherwise it would be default male\female V facial look that is advertised till this day on any media. Which is totally fine if that would be a default choice of playing as male\female.

I'd made no mention of twitter at that point. I don't actually use it. Cdprs marketing is pretty terrible that's true. And this is a massive overreaction to a silly marketing gimmick. It's possible for both parties to be in the wrong.

You still choose from those two body types, don't you, so if they had carried on with cutscenes, the only change would be which voice is coming out of your characters mouth. I honestly don't get what you mean here.

There is no information that you can play as default V, its shifted to create a cybersexual bodytype from 0 and choose a gender voice. Since there are already genderless voice AI assistants being created right now. No wonder,cause you know, hype ? makes ? so everyone is #trending.

That point of view is discussed above,that you are not understanding.Of course some conservative views takes that more personally.  

My (and not only mine) issue is only with 3P camera chopped from CP2077 game mechanics.
