Whats wrong with west eu nowadays, they seems hate freedom right more than anyone.

EU has a lot of problems with bureaucrats taking money from special interest, donors and sponsors. Pair that up with a lack of consideration for what they're lobbing and this is what you get.

Yeah, I experience the side effects of that, would be happier if they could focus solving problem then pushing agendas and destroying the continent :P

Let me tell you something about Cultural Marxism.

Once upon a time there was an old man, our dear uncle Putin...

Our dear uncle Putin once was a Soviet KGB officer. KGB for ya youngsters was that kind of secret organization which even by Party's (and USSR had only one Party) account was too dangerous to let it loose.

And today he is Russian "national leader" (read - dictator) and FSB (KGB in disguise) - on the loose. If you ever heard about Stalinist era in USSR it was the last time when Soviet secret service was like that.

When uncle Putin realized two of the five of his best friends - Qaddafi and Saddam can't torture their people anymore cause they are a bit dead, he was a little worried. Now he had only three friends left in his Fellowship of The Dictators - Kim Jong-un, Bashar Assad and Hugo Chavez. Oh, the last one later died too. And now there is only two left!

Uncle Putin was so sad.

Well, they have found proper replacement for the Chavez, worry not - now there is proper famine and country properly fucked up. However one night Assad had a dream about him visiting conference of Middle Eastern leaders. At the table to the left of him there was Saddam and to the right - Qaddafi...

Assad for the moment stopped torturing people and asked uncle Putin, if that was a Bad Omen. Yup, Bad Omen that was, said uncle Putin and scrambled to help. Chemical weapons, bombers, rockets and tanks - you know, usual stuff, all dictators does this, but uncle Putin also sent men "who are not there"

"Men who are not there" worn uniform without patches and flown planes without emblems.

Just like in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine. Cause what works once, shall work next time, why not?

And it wasn't something new - uncle Putin did only what uncle Stalin did - "There is no Soviet troops in Spain", "Finnish people attacked Russians", "We liberate Poland and Baltic states", "There is absolutely no Soviet troops in Korea!" - business as usual.

Uncle Stalin left rich legacy of propaganda, but not only him. KGB learned a lot from the Goebbels - Nazi propaganda mastermind.

So Cold war was fun. "We are helping peace-loving people of Syria", "People of Africa fight for their liberation from Apartheid! (And there is absolutely no Russian military advisers, what are you, evil capitalist?)", "There is no Soviet troops in Afghanistan (and they asked us for help anyway!)"

One of the funniest things however was transformation of the former Communists (today they comprise the entire "United Russia" - new Russian equivalent of the old Party) and uncle Putin himself. He is supposedly "Cristian leader, protector of the Whites" now (propaganda says that - you never question Russian propaganda!)

Cynicism of the situation lies in the fact that for example in the 80s when uncle Putin was in KGB, USSR armed SWAPO with landmines so they can plant said landmines on the path of the South African school buses. And today Putin's propaganda scream at the top of its lungs that "evil niggers murder white farmers in South Africa!"

If that wasn't enough for you - Russian "men who are not there" again in Central Africa, Sudan, Egypt etc. Oh, and let's not forget old friends - recently Russians supplied Namibia (homeland of SWAPO) with vehicles and keep training their troops, active in Nigeria and keep playing shady games with ANC in South Africa. By coincidence by the way Central Africa sunk into bloody conflict. Ah-huh.

See the pattern?

Oh- don't take it seriously, I'm just your fellow CIA provocateur who say lies about uncle Putin and his friends.

That been said - uncle Putin got a new old friend. We love him - its our dear POTUS. He is new, cause its Trump, and old cause before it was Bush. And back then there was "totally not an invasion" in Georgia ("But it was totally justified, cause Kosovo!")

Did I forget to tell ya that ISIS - our favorite boogieman - were leaded by Saddam's officers (including generals and colonels), were armed with Russian "Cornet" missiles, used to wear "Gorka" (one of many Russian military uniform types), and by some weird coincidence whenever Russians claimed to bomb ISIS they managed to hit only civilians in areas which were under control of the opposition who fought against ISIS as well as against Assad? That's when they were not busy bombing kids in hospitals, where survivors were brought after those chemical attacks, about which exactly Russian propaganda warned as provocations of the opposition (yeah, against their own families, Russians says so - they never lie)

Oh, if that wasn't weird enough - there was yet another coincidence - Chechen fighters who have joined ISIS later revealed that it was FSB who supplied them with papers and tickets and helped to get out to the Middle East. Those Chechen men were in the list of insurgents in Russia since Second Chechen war.

Meanwhile some people died in UK cause apparently British intelligence service murdered them - Russians never lie, remember?

Now American elections as well as elections in Europe turned into a clusterfuck of Russian "non interference" and Twitter , Facebook, Liveleak and Youtube were flooded by Russian propaganda (which never lies!)

Our favorite based guys - The Alt-Right, who are hang out on 4chan's /pol and Stormfront and from there spread "memes" everywhere actually consume more Russian propaganda lately, than they create their own. And they do create a lot of it too, after all they have Steve Bannon who are specialist in it and was involved in Breitbart ("totally not a fake news"), Cambridge Analytica and tied to their owners - Mercer family. Mercer family - conservative millionaires by the way.

Now  important thing about American conservatives, especially in our case is that Republican party today consist of ether radical Christian fundamentalists (Evangelicals, Mormons and various hardcore Catholics) or supported by their money to the point that it is now not a political, but religious entity.

Another piece of the puzzle - Discovery Institute - American conservative Christian think tank, organized by the people just as smart as they are cynical and greedy.

Today they are rich and influential too - wealth came to them from the same sources as wealth of the Republican party - donations from the same fundamentalist sects in the USA. Discovery Institute developed and step by step implemented their own so called Wedge Strategy - this is by all account evil and cunning plan, designed for many years ahead- they are patient, you gotta give it to them. The goal? Denial of science and reason in favor of blind Faith.

Religious conservative Americans known for beliefs which would be in place in Saudi Arabia. But they are in power in America in 21 century! And now it spreads in Europe, following the same scenario - Wedge Strategy was never limited to the US only. In fact it was updated it seems, they react to the changes, they seek opportunities. Its incredible but transformation of the alt-right themselves good indicator of it - they started as some angry gamers, then joined by some dissatisfied virgins (incels - pretty vile people if you ask me) and among prominent members of the movement you could find such people as Milo Yiannopoulos (who is gay). Back then they demanded less SJW and more fun in games, sexual freedom and stop PC censorship.

It was never about religion - in fact it was as opposite to it, as it gets. But today they propagandize radical Christianity, antisemitism, racism (and I'm fairly racist myself, but they makes even me cringe), war on Islam, hatred to women and deny vote rights for them, ban on abortions, contraceptives and other straight up medieval shit. ISIS would be proud (and incels notice similarities and they say "Islam threat women as they deserve")

That part about war on Islam is fun, cause before the elections alt-rights who are eagerly supported Trump, kept saying that its time to stop wars and leave Middle East and Afghanistan. Well, not anymore (what a surprise!)

Just for the record - I do not want to see Islam in Europe. Neither I think "people of color" belong to it. But unlike the alt-right (honestly pretty dumb young Americans seems like from rural Alabama) I know history of Europe, such as the fact that Turks came into Germany right after WWII (cause white men killed too many white men) or the fact that Arabs came into France after colonial war in Algiers.

And for alt-rights here - back then French thought it' was not a colony, but part of their mainland France. That's why colonial troops were preparing to drop paras in Paris and dispose of de Gaulle and that's why his government building in Paris was surrounded by tanks (Long story short - coup failed).

Similar problem had Portugal by the way, after their colonial wars in Africa. They ended up repatriating all their people from their former colonies, including mixed people and Africans. But average alt-right shall not know more than pawn supposed to know.

Not that recent "refuges crisis" was natural part of said migration though. It wasn't. For some reason it happened at the same time when Russians were "bombing ISIS" ("totally not civilians" in regions which never were under ISIS control to begin with). Russians also predicted every chemical attack on Syrian kids so far, as if uncle Putin suddenly become Jesus himself. It was almost like he wanted to push frau Merkel, knowing that "open borders" is a soft spot of EU.

And every time when Russian propaganda (never fake news) was denounced it shed crocodile tears about freedom of speech. Interesting enough that Russian propaganda used the same tactic that was used by above mentioned Discovery Institute - to accuse those who opposing them in denial of freedoms, lies and dogmatism. There was many other similarities in Russian propaganda campaign and for example DI's Teach the Controversy campaign - such as creation of false controversy, deception and projection of own flaws on those who trying to denounce false statements.

Personally I think whatever Russian paid trolls did and still do was too smart for them sometimes. Uncle Putin's propaganda usually crude. But in some cases it looks too sophisticated and too large in scale to be planned by any Russian expert, corrupted Russian official, anyone in oligarchy or intelligence. They needed foreign specialist for this. In fact they hired many foreign professionals for RT. Degree of their involvement in Cambridge Analytica and similar organizations is unknown, although their own Internet Research Agency possibly could use foreign analysts to support activity of dumb trolls. We know for sure that Russians love to bribe some corrupted officials in Europe to make shady deals or to tell whatever they need at that moment. Often Russian mass media (totally not a fake news) cite them later for internal audience.

If something, bribery and export of corruption one of the most prominent danger of corrupted Russian leadership.

And now Christian radicals who weren't heard in Europe since the Enlightenment suddenly active and saying the same anti scientific shit and demand bans on everything. Far right in Europe on the rise (possibly greatly exaggerated by Russian propaganda) and definitely various nationalist or neo-nazi groups in Europe directly supported by Russian money. By the way, 25% of Russian state budget is a secret, combined with military spending's - its 30% next year. Healthcare and education in decline and this year were five times lower than military budget itself. Talk about priorities for poor country.

Meanwhile inside of Russia pseudoreligious "conservatism" pushed on the atheist (since Soviet times) nation from the top and officially Russians are Orthodox (never mind that Russian Orthodox Church since Soviet era was under direct control of KGB and now uncle Putin best friend of the Church - and Church blessing his rule)

Russia now on the level of the most radical Evangelists of America, including recent copy-cat statements of Russian officials about necessity of the ban on abortions and masturbation. They speak like true puppets of Christian conservative Americans from Republican party.

In fact it makes sense - for uncle Putin and his cronies good relationship with Trump promise end of sanctions, free access to USA, protection and immunity, business opportunities and sense of self importance. To have that they would convert country into any religion.

Meanwhile education and science in steady decline. Russia can't into space anymore, bridges collapsing and this is not the worst news. The worst will come when Russian nuclear power plants will be operated by generation of uneducated religious orcs.

And so I'm not even sorry that alt-rights, cheap Russian trolls or evangelists can't project their inhumane shit on Europe anymore.

That doesn't mean I do not notice world trend on censorship, decline of freedom and corruption of the officials in EU (and in the US as well) That must be solved but I doub't it can be solved without dealing with uncle Putin and his clique directly. He can't be persuaded to stop meddling with European relations.

This picture wouldn't be complete if we wont add Chinese big game and Iranian influence (particularly prominent and more important really in case of Syria).

Oh. One more thing about Cultural Marxism - Russian trolls as it turned out tried to organize and succeeded in starting riot in Charlottesville, simply by calling to both left and right wing groups separately to start protest at the same time in the same place. We know the result.

Similar clashes happen in Europe sometimes, promptly reviewed by RT, for some reason. Another interesting coincidence (we love coincidences and more importantly uncle Putin loves them) - uncle Putin was chased by naked girls from FEMEN extremely conveniently when he desperately needed distraction from the shit he started in Ukraine. Also, by another coincidence one of the FEMEN leaders died all of a sudden.

Do we believe that uncle Putin still support Cultural Marxists when he already embraced far right? No, of course not - he is "Christian conservative leader, defender of the White Europe!" (totally not a lie from the former Soviet KGB officer)

The truth is - he is cynical and corrupted and play both sides and everyone around him like this. Its just at this point Europe turned into the battlefield for several powers at once, aside of him. He is the worst of the players though.

First and Second Amendment mean everything, folks. They are natural born rights. Every country should have one that cannot be rewritten unless it's modifying it for the better and not erasing what already is etched in the parchment.

This is what happens when you bow down to tyranny. We over here are getting closer and closer to a civil war. Not that I have to say it,, but I know which side I stand by. It's definitely not the street crybaby with a pink pussy diaper on my head yelling orange man ebil! ebil I tell you!

So what the hell is the EU gonna do; block or fine websites that allow memes and random quotes?  And how are they gonna collect the fines from a website that isn't hosted in EU territory?  And even IF the EU gets serious about fining people all a forum admin would have to do is start blocking entire IP ranges.  That's not as much work as it sounds like.

I THINK this Article 13 shit is a way for 'the EU powers that be' to control the flow of information and to isolate their citizens.  Don't laugh, China does it and so do a lot of Muslim countries.

It doesn't matter how paid figures from the Orwellian world label you in public, knowing that they are arguing in Newspeak does. This turns any disobedient "evil incarnate" per definition into a "friend of the good Lord", so to speak. Gather your information with TOR or a proxy and share your knowledge if need be. And by God, avoid Facebook and unkosher candy media alike.

Could be, considering Article 11. That is the scary one. It says that any "terrorism inciting" speak must be removed within two hours or the website owner may be fined up to million euros. And of course such "speak" is loosely defined that it can be pretty much anything.

Or in Orwellian terms, the "Ministry of Truth".

But positively thinking, it will be entertaning to see 90% of the population go trough withdrawal when Facebook blocks europe ?

Technically, that is incorrect. You were all a bunch of bloody savages until the Romans came and brought you into the folds of (then) modern civilization. Whereas we started out civilized and slowly devolved back into being bloody savages. Perhaps we needed something from the British Royalty after all.

You need to read some ancient history.

All a government or the EU would have to do is block the IPs of whatever company it didn't want operating within its territory. The company pays the fine or loses the revenue and or the market to a rival.

They will have given it some thought and made sure it wasn't something Kendo could see through in 5 minutes.

to push up it's controll over information, a, let's call it "splintered intelligence group" or just "splinters", tried to sell his new cookie to the government of one of eu states, for keeping the anonimity of the country, let's just call it Shoe

the government of Shoe had a wonderfull idea to have this cookie applied, and that was to forcefully tax every site that did not use it, and the head of telematical advancement pretty much wetted himself thinking of all the money that would come their way without the need of using his computer expertise (that, as thing showed in other previous and later occasion, was try to shut-it-off-then-on-again for everything) aplying it to many governative site using a faux .gov in the document to not expose themselves

as soon as everything was set, Shoe tecnicians made a test run with the cookie, that collected all those important information from people connecting to the pretend.gov sites, or the ones from the controll group. then, the splinters, which plan all along was to discredit the head of telematical advancement, showed him that a .gov domain on the paper that was not using the cookie, so the head just went and directly contacted the admin of that domain, asking with his well known tact of a jackal with a peeled pepper up his arse why they weren't running the cookie.

the domain in question was " https://www.whitehouse.gov/ "

the half assedplan is to have a databes containing all copyright owners and the info of the ones they gave them to use where; this, controlled with a series of cookies on every site checking back to the database

alas, that was in the fist draft, and the whole thing has been absent since before it was formally presented to be voted on...

Whoa...........so  how much will it cost copyright holders to get on that massive database???  Wow, the EU is really trying to make the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) and the Film Actors Guild look tame, given all the stuff they pulled back in the late 90s.    I wonder if they will force Russia and China, heck even most Middle Eastern countries to play along too.  I still remember how easy it was to get high quality rip offs of music and movies in Dubai.   The EU will end up blocking all of the third world, and most of the second world.   Great plan, I hope those countries don't reciprocate and shut down the EU.

One can read.

I have to add something new though:

While there were bursts of advertising activity, "the most far-reaching IRA activity is in organic posting, not advertisements," the authors noted. And the IRA's aim, the researchers found, was to "polarize the US public and interfere in elections by campaigning for African-American voters to boycott elections or follow the wrong voting procedures in 2016, and more recently for Mexican American and Hispanic voters to distrust US institutions; encouraging extreme right-wing voters to be more confrontational; and spreading sensationalist, conspiratorial, and other forms of junk political news and misinformation to voters across the political spectrum."

https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2018/12/senate-committee-report-details-how-russians-boosted-trump-across-all-social-media/

Once the US-focused campaign began, it quickly evolved into a "multi-platform strategy," the authors wrote, encompassing Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms. "The IRA accounts actively engaged with disinformation and practices common to Russian 'trolling.' Some posts referred to Russian troll factories that flooded online conversations with posts, others denied being Russian trolls, and some even complained about the platforms' alleged political biases when they faced account suspension."

François said that because Facebook was out ahead of the other platforms in terms of shutting down IRA accounts, the company was the target of such disingenuous protests. "You see a period of months where they're still active on other platforms, and those accounts are using other platforms to direct traffic to other sites that they controlled," she explained.  "The accounts were mocking 'Russian interference' and protesting the account suspensions." In one case, François recounted, a fake Black Lives Matter account on Twitter complained about the shutting down of a Facebook page and accused Facebook of being "white supremacist."

https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2018/10/how-russias-influence-operations-targeted-the-midterms-and-how-they-still-do/

Meanwhile in Christian Russia:

Also Russian not-a-spy Butina now agreed to talk. Mind you - among others this woman tried to contact NRA officials, demonstratively criticizing gun control...while in Russia guns kept under the government control and she praised uncle Putin nevertheless.

Good day! I accidentally stumbled upon your post and you know, I was unbearable. I live in Russia and there is no dictatorship here. I write what I want, I think what I want and say what I want! I am not a fan of Putin and always voted in the elections against him, but the real majority of people vote for him. And if for you the choice of the majority is this dictatorship, then ... this is stupid! And finish watching your TV, they give you game - there is not a single proof that Russia had any influence, and what if it tried? Answer yourself, would you listen to someone else's opinion if it is against your beliefs? And Russia is not ruled by the right! Fascism is prohibited by criminal law! And for the future, if you want to know what is happening in Russia, do not watch TV, but ask the people who live there. And among your media for a long time there are no truly independent ones. They tell you what your top leaders need, and because Russia dares to broadcast a different point of view, they have labeled it. And believe me, in Russia there is no one who wants neither war nor the heat of the situation. Let's be friends and play good games! Thank!
