I think it depends on whether KT decides to renew their licensing deal with SNK so they can keep her around.  I'm going with no because guest characters don't seem to stick around for more than one iteration.  MK9 had Freddy Krueger and Kratos, and they both got the boot in MKX.

 

As for DOA6 going all uber-prude: if it does, so be it.  I think it'd be a huge mistake on KT's part since fanservice is such a huge chunk of DOA's identity, but even if they go this route, DOA5 isn't going anywhere, and neither are the mod tools or the mod community.  In fact, if KT screws the pooch with DOA6, we'll probably be even better off since more people will want to check out DOA5 and (maybe) learn to mod it.

Here already expressed a wise think that in a few years DOA5 will look something like DOA4 or DOA3 for us, compared to more modern games.

In my opinion, the TeamNinja will announce the characters for several months to create additional advertising for DOA6. And in the end all the main characters will remain in the game. Probably, Mai will also stay, because she has many fans.

In my opinion, some new female characters should appear. TeamNinja timed their appearance just before the release, early next year. It would be a spectacular advertisement.

This casting is sad now. The same characters constantly being overhauled but never expanded enough due to what became of the DOA5 story.

  

These girls deserved better. Especially Kasumi.

 

We should demand a nude mode so we don't have to mod. The series has teased us long enough and with the right context it would work.

 

At least as DLC. Also, Steam is attempting a new section for adult-themed games so this could help for an alternative version too!

I wonder in what country do you live? You have a very naive look at these games. No one will ever officially make a nude mod for fighting games. Devs leave this work for modders and earn money on their work.

I read that at EVO some gamers saw in the DOA6 a some slider that allowed to change the size of the breast. If this is true, then it would be SUPER!

Say what you want, but I thought DOA5 was where the line was finally drawn. The story sucked and what was left was merely an amazing arcade game.

 

With that said, nudity is present in the series but not in-our-faces primarily because of the original creator and region censorship. I just think at this point there's nothing more to offer with partial or implied nudity because the teasing has gone long enough. If they're planning to expand the mechanics, while downgrading some, they should just go all out for fun specifically for fans and people like us who enjoy mods.

I'm sorry, I did not mean to insult you. But you do not understand how society is organized in the West. If KT will make a nude mods for their games, this will transfer them from the category of fighting games to a pornographic game. In some countries DOA will be banned, but in others it will limited like other porn games. No international tournaments on DOA will be possible. They will lose much more. Why do they need it?

Also, this could greatly enhance their sales.

They are very greedy, yea, but they are not idiots. In exchange for huge reputational losses, they will not get anything.

All is very cute, Hitomi and Lei look great, but I like their old images more, they have more charm.

 

If the company KoeiTecmo could release a game with old models, but with improved graphics and new stages, I think it would have been a great success. Many old gamers, including me, would have paid any money to return to the past.
