Had my firsdt invite shoot today and everyone showed up albiet the receptionist was kind of late. I was able to still do some task but not all and never actually got photos taken before things ended but was still paid and it said i had photos. When I previously tried asking for photos all the photographer had was a blurry pic of university homework )my sim isn't even enrolled yet) any ideas on if this is a bug or what i did wrong if anything here? I realloy wanted her photos

[EDIT] Ah, it looks like it is. reason being I overwrote some stuff (namely the venues list from this mod) to install this one.

I will say that I've noticed that this does not appear to be compatible with older versions of the game. That is I can't place the lot or rather it says that "this content was created using a newer version of the game" (*me* so fucking what?...) every time I try to place the lot.

This is all part of EA's plan, you see? Not sure if you realize this (or just how cheap and criminally greedy EA can be) but last time I checked if you were to get the Sims 4 with all of the DLCs you'd be looking at close to $500, now I guess there are ways to cut that price tag down a bit, but to something more reasonable like (let's say) a $70 or $80 pack with all of the DLCs released up until 2018?.. No, I don't think you're going to see something like that (for an older game by this point no less). Anyway EA is counting on people buying the intentionally bland slapped together base game, realizing the base game sucks and then wanting their investment to NOT suck, go and look at some of the slapped together DLCs available or mods that require said slapped together DLCs so then either way people will feel inclined to go out and buy all of the DLCs or at least the necessary DLCs to run the mods they want to run in their game.. which could potentially span across ALL of the DLCs anyway.. See how that works? They're.. they're cons basically. Highway robbers.

 

Fortunately The Sims 4 may be moving to Steam at some point in the near future anyway, so maybe some huge discounts are in this game's future, but until that time you'll either have to get the necessary DLCs or...

I digress from the main topic though.. Sorry, it's just something that REALLY annoys me because I see it all the time across many games these days. The laziness and manipulative and or legally questionable business tactics all to make quarterly earnings look good to their investors who only care about making a buck regardless of how anti consumer it then forces the companies they are investing in to be (which is bad in the long run for said companies)... then of course there are just greedy execs who don't care.

You need to take photos with photographer first and only then you can get your photos you took.

Of course AEP and RedAppleNet are compatible, otherwise, I would say so. Just make sure you use just one KsuihuhVenueList, it doesn't matter from which download. And you need to update your game I think. It's not mod's fault, it's the game's thing. You can't place builds that were made in the newer version of the game.

Saw post earlier in another thread 

 where it seemed someone figured out how to use the drone thing for filming naughty moments, seems the mod itself from back in October and called pervy Copter so hard to say if it still works, but could it be possible to ask permissions from mod maker and add the feature pervy copter into home video options in future version, maybe get it updated if needed so it works?

Yeah, I updated my game. I don't really like doing that very often though because I've had stuff break after updates, but that made the issue go away and I was able to place the call center. I wasn't trying to blame the mod or anything, though I will say that it is kind of stupid that users can't use content simply because it was assembled in a newer version of the game (again, I'm not blaming you or the mod, that's really a game design issue).

No, it's ok) I didn't mean it like that, just wanted to point out that it's not a bug?, sorry if I sounded harsh! And yeah, it's annoying I had the same issue when game was updated for Seasons.

I don't know if it still works, but I will see. I know it was done through quite intricat script and I can't do my own since I don't know Python that well, but I will see if I can talk with a creator.

Yes, my issue was that i never got the option given to take the photos. All I kept getting was "ask for photos" even though I had not taken them yet

You need to click on photostudio object, not Photographer to take photos.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned, but for the live cam show, would it be possible to incorporate WW so that the Watch Porn masturbation animation is played during the live cam stream and a VIP stream?

First of all great work! I gotta ask though, since I seem to not find the answer anywhere online. There is a phone message like "We saw some of your online work and would like to invite you to an adult photoshoot". When i click "OK" nothing happens though. I don't find out where I need to go for the shoot, even if the message says "Adress will be sent to you later" and I wait until after the time they said the shoot would take place...

 

I also have the AEP Pornography Studio Lot, doesn't seem to be there though. Do I need another mod?

I'm hardly an expert at this stuff, but since no one else has answered, I'll try to help ...

 

First, you have the lot, but have you placed it into the world?  Next, the message indicates they will contact you around 8pm.  I think clicking the message OK is necessary for the next step, but don't quote me.  I've found they rarely call before 9pm and often as late as 11pm.  When you get the late evening message, you either accept and be teleported just outside the studio, or I think you can ignore it and not go to the photoshoot.

 

If you get to the photoshoot, depending on your settings, expect that the receptionist and perhaps others will be late, and one or more of the other employees will be "having fun" with various non-employees.  About the time everyone gets there and you start doing the quest requirements, a shift change will occur and you might or might not need to redo some of the quest requirements.  If I recall, click on the beautician and make-up artists to do those items (it might be you need to click on the stations instead) but with the photographer, start the shoot by clicking on the photoshoot backdrop.  After you have the pictures taken, click on the photographer to get the photos, one at a time.

Don't know if it will apply but also, if none of the above sorts it, a version or so back teens could get the call but do nothing about it, I think its been totally removed from teens now though so idk, it would only be relevant if your sims 19 or under.

Some guy called my character after she started camming, told her to show up in a place at 8pm, but never told me where I was supposed to show up, and then nothing else happened. Is this a bug?

Also, the gifts my character is receiving in her mail aren't showing up in her inventory, except a couple of ones. From all the 10 or so gifts I've gotten (perfume, etc.), the only one that showed up was a vanilla camera.

You go to the photography lot, assuming you placed down that Venue. Think some the gift items are CC, guessing CC gifts might not show up in same way that CC furniture from downloaded gallery houses don't. But of cause I can say this with 100% certainty since it's not my mod, but guessing it might be the case for some the gifts you're not receiving.

Check your household inventory, not all objects can be stored in personal inventory.

You're right. Sorry, I'm totally new to TS4.

As for the other issue I'm having, any idea what might be wrong? I keep getting called by random Sims, they go "hey we're a company and we want you for our studio, show up at 8pm yadda yadda we'll text you the address later", and even if I accept nothing happens.

Just follow instalation instructions here and both mods will work fine.
