If you've got an armbinder on as elsidia mentioned, yes that will also limit animations.

 

 

Yes, DCL uses DD's animation filter. Not just for that quest, for everything, it's expected. If you're on DD 5.0, try upgrading to DD 5.1 - there's a delta patch on the troubleshooting post.

and yeah i know that DCL uses the DD animation filter, but what i meant is that for the rubber doll outfit specifically. as in, a different filter compared to to regular bondage animations. i tested this by equipping a full set of bondage gear similar to the rubber doll (armbinder, balloon hood, suit, gloves, ect) and the rape animations played as normal. but if you have the rubber doll outfit on then it only plays that one kissing animation. thats why im pretty sure its not intentional.
and i believe i am on DD 5.1. the upgrade file is labeled "Devious Devices 5.0 to 5.1 upgrade.7z", and you just install it over the top of DD 5.0, giving it priority by having it load after 5.0. correct?

Also here is the papyrus log that i just generated. i dont know what im looking for or really how to limit it to that.
i loaded up my save, changed the settings for DCL to force the rubber doll collar. then spam waited until it was full. then i ran around and used the gag talk function to get npcs to rape me. i did it 3 times, 2 with winterhold guards and 1 with a tavern owner who i think is being labeled as "dragur" for some reason in the logs.
the actual passive rape system wasnt working, something about conflicting quests..? i have no idea why thats happening tbh.
hopefully that helps.
side note: i think you did ask me for a papyrus log earlier. but i had no idea how to get it at the time.
i ended up learning how to get it recently when i was having a CTD issue and had to look up how to get the logs for that. that issue has since been fixed (stupid hdt prisoner chains)

You can't This is quest item and seems will be removed by time or some random NPC have this key and after speak with him, remove it.

 

Technically this gag uses administrator key what not found in game.

So I'm on the collar quest, final stage I hope.  I had been using the carriages to speed up my travel since I can't fast travel.  But with the armbinders I can't get into the carriage now.  There is no interact menu. 

 

Any way of changing that?  Sitting down in the carriage doesn't really require my hands much.

Yeah, DD 5.1 goes over the top of 5.0.

 

My method of read the logs is to open it in notepad++, and then do a find all in the doc for 'dcur'. That gets all the DCL stuff in one place so you're not distracted by log spam.

 

Yeah, looks like these all failed because the NPC is friendly or a conflicting quest. I'm not sure what the quest would/could be. I'd recommend posting in the DCL LE thread and tagging kimy. attach the log there or link back here. I was hoping to see it selecting stuff based on what you're wearing, but it never got that far.

This has been mentioned in the LE thread too. No workaround other than one mention of using another mod (devious carriages).

If you're using the DCL 9.0 beta, beta 3 was just released today. I don't see it mentioned in change log, but it's worth a shot.

On some quests like a some specific collars or belts is. Because i guess it.

 

But depend of this quest seems no. Only need find correct NPC what are selected randomly and in dialogue it must free you.

I need help with this weird problem, i have this brown screen and i don't know how to remove it, does anybody know how to fix this? It worked fine yesterday. The only thing i did differently today was changed a character preset in bodyslide on my character. I can move my pc and open things. The inventory shows up fine but the real problem i have are that i can't see shit. appreciate help.

Not a DCL issue. try fast traveling somewhere. Or load a previous save. start a new game to see if it's your install or just the save that's messed up.

Does anyone have a working conversion of dcl beta 2 or 3 for se. I tried cathedral and I am getting a ton of papyrus errors from DCl and no more. I would appreciate if someone could share with me, or perhaps let me know what settings or process they went through with cathedral for a successful conversion.

wait. Friendly NPCs wont doll rape? if thats the case then thats probably what the problem is.
what causes NPC's to be considered friendly? does being neutral count? almost all the testing ive done was in solitude where all the guards and NPCs were neutral to me. since i hadnt done anything good or bad there.

This is the attached Papyrus log from the new game - so much DCL warnings on there, mcm started this time after live another life cell, but the papyrus errors killed another mod. Is this normal and i am just panicking over nothing?

I will not provide a conversion until the mod is out of beta. Converting with CAO on beta 2 or 3 works with the exception that kimy missed a fix for one script. That will NOT cause those papyrus errors.

 

I am not seeing those warnings in my logs, so yes, looks like yours is broken.

 

If you have patches for DCL from other mods, remove those patches - they may not be compatible with DCL 9.0.

What mod manager are you using? If it's NMM, it's been known to not install everything for DCL, either due to file path length issues or other NMM issues. Try installing again as you may be missing scripts.

Sorry to late answer, but i fix my Skyrim SE (partially) and do some more tests on it.

For test i used DD 5.0 SE and DCL 8.5. Also i use Zaz 8.0 mod and are loaded Sexlab animations into zaz like pillory sex. maybe because my animations trigger more. Ok when you are in rubber doll outfit it triggers more type of animation when you don't have armbinder on. When you are in armbinder only armbinder kiss animations.

Also while you are in rubber doll i got triggered sex rapes. And rubber doll costume is marked with special rape key. When you first time start speak with NPC (i think there is cool-down time, maybe 1 hour maybe more), it's 100% rapes you.

Note: First animation what i trigger after take off armbinder was zaz pillory sex and it's removes my open hood. Keywords are right seems some incapability with DCL. Also somehow in rubber dool quest i trigger a DCl trap (it's not have been happen, maybe because i trigger a rape too - in rubber doll quest are variable: active quest running true - it's prevents traps and rape) and it's removes open hood too. Why? Don't know - all variables is correct into rubber doll items.

 

Note2: I found some performance issues with my new RTX 3070 card. I read there is issue with skyrim even with RTX 2070. I do all steps to fix it, but it's not help. If you are in Dawnstar outside with first DCL event tick after load it's CTD. If you are inside Dollmakers house tick goes normally and next tick in outside not CTD. Also outside after time happens abnormally CPU or GPU overload. First i suspect snow falling, then water waves, but in other places with those game runs smoothy.  Now i can only suspect dollmakers house is wrong build for skyrim SE. Probably this overload happens in next tick of DCL events. Or next next tick.  This note is for any players. If anyone have idea how to fix it - i'll glad to hear about it.

It's probably unrelated.

I'm just going to rely on 2 personal anecdotes and mod recommendations, with which you may try your luck.

 

First mod I'd suggest is this one https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30174 CBBE 3BA (3BBB)

This is both a preset for HDT-SMP and CBPC, but also a mod that lets you toggle between the two physics models on the fly.

By default It will use HDT-SMP for your character, and CBPC for everyone else; you can toggle it on others with a hotkey.

My experience with pure HDT-SMP has been that the physics model is unstable and will not only hurt your framerate, but rather frequently reduce it to single digits until an `smp reset` is issued in the console.

It's the animation limit fix; I'd suggest using it and disabling a similar (but smaller in scope) fix within SSE Engine Fixes.

Unlike the one in SSE Engine fixes, it removes an expensive iteration over all actors that loop for the number of animations that were loaded.

This loop is fairly expensive, but also a frequent source of CTDs when loading saved games; by removing it as this mod does, you should see an improvement in performance and a reduction in crashes.

To use it, you need to disable the corresponding patch in SSE Engine Fixes (AnimationLoadSignedCrash = false).

It's worth your while to do it, because it will reduce your CTDs significantly.

That's fine, I only suggest it because it's set up out of the box to use a mix of CBPC and HDT-SMP, which really helps with performance when there's a lot of jiggling NPCs nearby.

That is what equips the chains besides the random bug where DCL can do it that was reported here and the LE thread.

 

YEP ... I'm an IDIOT!  Had my hotkey set to the directional down arrow on my controller ... so as I scrolled through dialogs and inventories I kept selecting the person for furniture placement.  Set the hotkey back to PageUp and everything works perfectly.

I am still being plagued by papyrus error with DCL 9 beta 3 unfortunately and items not functioning correctly in the mod, device events not triggering and animations not starting etc. Something is fundamentally broken for me and I am not sure what. Could someone do me a favor and post their properly functioning load order for the various devious devices and DCL esps. I know I have the correct install order and files at this stage so load order is all I can think of.
