This guide assumes no previous knowledge of modding to make it accessible to everyone, so some details may appear trivial to you. Some of the steps are 'to be on a safe side'/ 'just in case' and might not be entirely necessary. Last updated: 28 Oct 2017 Step 1 - Buy and Install Fallout 4 There is no need to install any DLCs for Four-Play to work. Make sure you have the latest version of the game (1.9 - released 6 Feb 17). Steam should automatically keep your game up-to-date. Run the game at least once to generate the ini's needed for Step 2 Step 2 - Enable Modding and Papyrus Logging Navigate to Documents/My Games/Fallout 4 Right click on Fallout4Prefs.ini, select Properties, untick Read-only if it's currently ticked and click OK. Repeat for Fallout4Custom.ini. Open Fallout4Prefs.ini Find [Launcher] section, under it, make sure that bEnableFileSelection=1 If [Launcher] or bEnableFileSelection doesn't exist, add them It should look like this: Save Fallout4Prefs.ini Still in the same folder, open Fallout4Custom.ini If Fallout4Custom.ini doesn't exist, create a new text document and name it Fallout4Custom.ini Find/ Create [Archive] section and make sure it looks like this: (Optional but Recommended) Still in Fallout4Custom.ini, find/ Create [Papyrus] section and make sure it looks like this: (Optional but Recommended) Still in Fallout4Custom.ini, navigate to the [General] section (or create one) and add the following: Save Fallout4Custom.ini Right click on Fallout4Prefs.ini, select Properties, tick Read-only and click OK. Repeat for Fallout4Custom.ini. Step 3 - Download and Install the latest F4SE Download the latest F4SE here. Double-click the file you just downloaded, follow the installation wizard, remember to double-check whether it finds the correct installation directory for your FO4. Let the installation wizard install F4SE for you. Step 4 - Pick a mod manager: NMM, MO or Manual I don't recommend manual installation at all. Things will get hectic very quickly. Nexus Mod Manager is more stable but wastes a bit more HDD space, Mod Organizer causes CTDs at game startups occasionally. Download a mod manager and use its respective installation wizard to install it. Step 5 to 12 are tailored to which mod manager you use. They are very similar in principal though. Mod Organizer Nexus Mod Manager The final two steps are universal for MO and NMM. Step 13 - Load a Clean Save, Initialize Four-Play Framework and Leito's Animation Pack Load any save without Four-Play installed on before. All the better if it's an unmodded save (without the [M]). While in game, wait a few seconds. You should now get a popup asking which animation packs to load, select the appropriate option depending on which animation packs you have installed (I recommend installing all). On the top left corner of your screen, you should see the notification ""Vinfamy: Registered Leito's animations and intialized Four-Play with Supermutant support.". Followed by a bunch of "Vinfamy: Thanks for installing xyz" if you use my plugins. These indicate that both Four-Play and Leito's animation pack has been installed correctly. If they don't show up or if you get "Four-Play Framework has not been installed correctly. Animations won't start.", something went wrong and please double-check that you haven't missed any of the steps above. Step 14 - Enjoy! All your Four-Play plugins should now work as described. Leito's animations should now play, with sounds. Actors involved in sex scenes should strip and redress (redressing may fail sometimes for leveled actors - known issue) correctly. Read the plugins' respective download pages to know how each plug-in works. In attachments are what the two tabs of NMM look like in my very light set-up. Don't worry too much if your set-up doesn't match: load order of the Four-Play mods don't really matter and you don't have to install all the plugins or the control panel.

Hi, Actually, I solved my installation problem by using google, by checking some tutorials. However, I'm still not sure if I used correct mods, settings, etc... If you can clarify about what I did correctly or wrong, it'll be great. I wanted to install Skyrim SE by using Steam in my F drive, in "Steam" folder. I did. I wanted to install Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch - USSEP 4.2.9a It says that it requires Skyrim Special Edition 1.6.629 or greater. I downloaded SKSE Current Special Edition build 2.0.20 (game version 1.5.97). I installed LOOT and SSEEdit. I use NMM - Community Edition as the mod manager. I installed SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin) After cleaning files, installing all necessary mods, I ran LOOT. It said my Skyrim is AE version, not SE. Because of that, some of the mods were incompatible with the AE version. I have to remember you that I didn't by AE, and I didn't installed AE. Then, I tried the start the game by using SKSE. I got error from EngineFixes.dll REL/Relocation.h(567) failed to open It's because of different version SKSE, which is 1.5.97 that I use. I wanted to use SE, not AE, SKSE for SE, not AE version. So, I installed Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Downgrade Patcher. As I know, using "Best of Both" version is better. Because, Full Patcher deletes also, instead of just downgrading only game code. If you use a mod as Alternate Start - Live Another Life - SSE, needs these main updates that deleted by full patcher. First of all, I uninstalled Unofficial SKyrim Special Edition Patch 4.2.9a. Then, I found two older version. Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch 1.5.97.0.8 Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch-266-4-2-5b-1623727189 I used 1.5.97.0.8 version. After using older version USSEP, and Best of Both version downgrade patch mod, LOOT showed the game as it's Skyrim SE, not AE. When I ran the game by using SKSE 64 for SE (2.0.20), I got no problem. After all these problems that I had, I understood that version 1.6.629 is for AE, not for SE, and doesn't compatible with SKSE SE 2.0.20. Instead of using the last version of USSEP, using older version of it that is compatible with 1.5.97 is better. I don't know if USSEP 4.2.5b is compatible with SKSE 2.0.20. I don't know if there is a better way/solution to avoid such problems during installation SE. Why Steam downloaded and installed AE, instead of SE at first? If you can give some information about this issue, it would be great. So, I won't have any problem in future. Thank you in advance...

Hey guys, Does anyone know what I'm doing incorrectly when trying to install SexLabs? Here is some vague info about the setup I have; Mod Organizer v2.4.4 Latest Nolvus (Meaning no FNIS, only Nemesis*) SexLabFrameworkSE SexLab MatchMaker SE Updated SL Tools I've added all of the mods at the end of the load order and started up Skyrim. Once ingame, I need to run the command "setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1" in order for SexLabs to appear in MCM. There, I pressed install and it completed the process. After reopening the MCM menu to check on SexLabs though, I've noticed that there isn't a single animation under any of the tabs. Am I missing a step? Do I have to do something with Nemesis after installation maybe? Any help would be much appreciated! *I've heard from multiple sources that unless I want creature animations, Nemesis alone should be sufficient for SexLabs. They might be wrong though, I haven't a clue.

Introduction This little guide will cover all the basics in order to succesfully install the SexoutNG framework. There will be some pictures to clarify things that might not be clear to some or are sometimes overlooked. This guide assumes that you have succesfully installed the Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM) and know how to extract files from an archive. It is possible to install the framework with the Nexus Mod Manager as well, but I strongly recommend sticking with FOMM. I. Download the required files This one should be obvious, if you've read the requirements section of the SexoutNG OP. SexoutNG Data SexoutNG Core NVSE 5.0b2 (it has to be version 4.5 or greater, older versions are not supported) NVSE Extender 16 or higher! Astymma's Compatibility Skeleton (as of SexoutNG '94 a compatibility skeleton is included, which means you don't need to install an extra skeleton) The Mod Configuration Menu Since we are going to use FOMM to install Sexout in this guide, you need to choose "download manually", when downloading the skeleton and MCM from the Nexus. Once you are finished, you should have the following files (the version numbers may change): SexoutNG - Core 2-10-94.fomod SexoutNG - Data 2-10-94.fomod nvse_5_0_beta2.7z NVSE Extender v16.fomod The Mod Configuration Menu-42507-1-5.7z Optional: SexoutNG - Bodies 1-1-1.fomod (Install the bodies, if you don't have any male/female nude bodies installed yet. If you already have nude bodies installed, the game will always choose yours over the ones from sexout) II. Installation First of all, extract all the 7z archives in their own folders. We will start with the SexoutNG main files. In order to install them with FOMM you need to copy all .fomod files to the location of your FOMM installation into the following folder: data/falloutnv/mod. (for instance D:/FOMM/data/falloutnv/mod.) Every other fomod goes into that folder as well. (Alternatively you can select "Add fomod", instead of "Create from folder" in the package manager and add the files that way.) Start up FOMM next and click the package manager button. You will see something like this: If you have other fomods installed, they will appear here as well. In order to install them you need to either select them and click activate or just double-click them. You should see this message and the box next to the file name will be ticked. If it asks you to overwrite files, because you are upgrading, click yes or yes to all. Do this for all the .fomod files you've just downloaded In case you want to use astymma's compatibility skeleton, instead of the skeleton provided by Sexout: Since the the NVSE Extender comes as a .fomod archive now as well, the installation process is the same as for the the Sexout Core and Data files. Move the archive to your FOMM/data/falloutnv/mod folder and activate the package with the package manager. Lastly, we need to put NVSE itself into its right place. To do this you need to copy the contents of the NVSE archive (all the .dlls and the nvse_loader.exe) into the main Fallout New Vegas root directory where the FalloutNV.exe is located. Do NOT put them in the data folder and do NOT install NVSE with FOMM. You don't have to copy the src folder from the NVSE archive as it only contains the source code and isn't required for NVSE to run. Now you're done with the installation of the SexoutNG framework. In order for it to actually do something, you need to install one of the various Sexout plugins. There is a lot to choose from in the Fallout/Sexout download section. Read and follow their installation instructions carefully, as they often have requirements of their own. In case you downloaded a compilation, you should still read the requirements of the individual mods, since some of them cannot be included in compilations. As a matter of fact, you can probably save more time by reading requirements and instructions, as by just downloading a bunch of mods and praying that it works. Troubleshooting a broken game also takes longer than spending a little time reading up on vital information. 90% of support topics in this section are due to the fact that people didn't take that advice.

Hi guys ! I want to instal a preset from a follower character (Daedric Bitch : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30549 Gorgeous !). The author put the Bodyslide Preset for the body in the download : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30549?tab=files The problem is that he didn't put an explanation about how to instal the file. I already installed a preset : Evanescence - Racemenu Preset https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32351 But the files are really different. The videos and posts I read didn't work for me. Would one of you guys know how to instal Daedric Bitch Pei ? I'm new to modding and I consider installing SexLab a glorious succes from me, if you care to explain, consider you have to explain it to a 10 year old. Thanks in advance !

I recently tried installing Sexout mods onto my steam copies of FO3 GOTY and NV. FO3 refuses to start and I can't seem to attack in NV and die to the radroaches in the vault. I am using Tale of Two Wastelands, FYI. Admittedly I didn't download every file from the links here and on Nexus. I mostly downloaded the most recent zip files. I am going to include screencaps of my game directory files from Steam. If anyone can help me please let me know below. I believe I have all the basic framework requirements installed. Thanks in advance.

So i recently bought clothing mods from COCO's patreon. he/she has helped me with some of my problems but responses are quite slow, as he/she is most likely busy. I've done everything they told me to do, but a lot of the clothing/armor just doesn't show up in game! i've merged, installed manually, installed with nmm... nothing seems to work. The bikini collection and the 2B wedding set shows up in game just fine, but her others do not. And i don't mean an invisible glitch, after installing the mods, they just dont show up in the additem menu and their esp doesnt show up on the nmm plugin list like the other two that worked.

So, i simply have no idea what to do in terms of fallout new vegas modding. I've never modded it ever, nor really any bethesda game (I tried once with skyrim and failed miserably, with my game ending up completely bugged) so i wanted to do this the right way. Thing is, i know even know where to start. Anyone is willing to help me out with this? My Discord is Ward#1305 if anyone wants to help. Do tell me you came from here, though.

Title pretty much says it all. Used to when I loaded up a mod in the old version, it was pretty easy to access the mod interface in-game from the menu. Although, now that I've switched over to special edition, it seems to have some basic mod functionality already installed, and wants to run everything through that. While this wouldn't be an issue, it doesn't seem to be loading any interface for my vortex-installed mods, and when they do show up in the mod list in-game, I can't interact with them at all. Has anyone else had this issue or been able to resolve it?

1) Introduction (skip to points 2) 3) and 4) if you want to start modding your Fallout 4) Hello everyone! Some background story first... I have been wanting to play a fully modded version of Fallout 4 for quite a while but never had a chance to do it until now because I had some spare time on my hands and decided to install Fallout on Steam with all DLCs including the HD Texture Pack. Of course I also wanted all the various adult mods there are in my game ? It has been a while since I was playing any Bethesda games (Skyrim was my last yeaaars ago) and many things changed, including the mod manager which is now called Vortex and saves you A LOT of pain while installing mods unlike with the old Mod Managers and is really doing all the heavy lifting for you. I was impatient and started smacking mods on each other from Tesnexus and Loverslab without properly reading all the requirements and possible incompatibilities. That's why first version of my game with the mods was so broken I had to start again from a clean install .....twice....and wasted days, tearing the hair out of my head! ? In my last attempt I decided to document everything in few readme files in order to keep a track and also added some notes to every mod I installed or uninstalled/replaced with better mod. It took me many days but I have refreshed my memory through a lot of trials and errors and also learned many tricks how to make seemingly incompatible mods working together. For the adult part I have been sticking to this guide as much as I could: ((continue reading below)) But later I figured things out to make the mods that are listed as incompatible work together!!! 2) What is this?? This is my guide (detailed readme file) that gives you step by step instructions of how to install your mods and in which order with my commentary. This is mostly aimed for new players who are just starting with a fresh copy of Fallout 4 and need some help without wasting countless hours trying to make their mods run. Veteran and experienced players are still welcome to review this and maybe I will be able to resolve few issues for you as well. ? 3) Why this guide? (...when there are many other guides...??) ->>It shows you how to download and install the vast majority of mods without reading through countless manuals, requirments and other thighs that will give you a headache without the fear of having broken game at the end and ending reinstalling everything from scratch and wasting hours or days doing so!! The only thing you need to pay attention to yourself is the Mod configurations options during their installation! ->>It includes pretty much 99% of all adult mods from Loverslab which are compatible with each other!! (all animations, poses, packs, quests, resources, outfits and much much more) ->>It includes pretty much all the best mods from Tesnexus which are compatible with each other and also compatible with all installed mods from Loverslab!!! ->>It includes compatibility patches for most of the installed mods!!!! ->>It makes your game run smoothly with almost zero CTDs (you get CTD only if you do really really dumb shit)!!!!! ((The installation is clean because I spent 2 weeks installing everything properly step by step with Vortex and reading through all requirements for every single mod so your saved data have very minimal chance of being corrupted even after some extensive gameplay or heavy "naughty seasons" I have tested the vast majority of all the mods I have installed together and they all work as intended.)) If you stick to this guide and my notes from the readme files once you are done you can enjoy playing the game with pretty much everything there is to offer right now, at least adult oriented.... 4) Important - MUST READ before start!!! -->>HARD REQUIREMENTS<<-- - The Fallout 4 I use is the Steam English version 1.10.163.0 but you can make it work on non steam too - - ALL DLCS + HD TEXTURE DLC - - Start modding only after you left Vault 111!! - - This guide is for CBBE body in mind - Note: you can go for fusion girl ->biggest compatibility after CBBE<- and grab all the conversions while downloading the mods The Date of this guide is 18th October 2020 and all mentioned mods are up to date!! Note: I may keep updating the file as I add or update my mods in time This guide consists of two readme files and my three personal ini files: - Fallout 4 Installation v1.0.txt - Main File which tells you what and how to install mods - Fallout 4 Possible Issues v1.0.txt - for troubleshooting and if you run into a bug in game it is worth to check this file - Fallout4.ini, Fallout4Prefs.ini, Fallout4Custom.ini - already prepared for modding (copy them to LocalDisc\User\Documents\My Games\Fallout4) directory) Both text files containing the installation instructions are RAW FILES without any external links!! They include only versions and names of every mod I have installed with my comments!! Note: I may add links and clean both files later if I get the time but for now you just use your own google to search for those mods. They are all on tesnexus and loverslab ? Note: I highly recommend Notepad++ or similar text editor to quickly orient yourself in my textfile (because it is a mess for now lol) 4.1) INSTALLATION (Please also check my post below for additional installation infos) A) Open the Fallout 4 Installation v1.0 readme v1.0 and start installing things step by step from very TOP to BOTTOM (call this a loadorder if you want) Note: You may need to setup Vortex first but there is a really good guide on the internet done by Gopher for this (Install Vortex and return to my readme to continue) ((continue reading below)) B) You need to install F4SE (you can do this from the Vortex I believe) C) Start downloading and installing the mods using Vortex from TOP to BOTTOM AND ONLY the file versions from my readme!!! If you install different version I don't guarantee your game will work like mine does!!! D) Pay attention to my notes in brackets or mods marked with !!! If you follow my guide to the letter ignore the mods flagged with "uninstall, don't use, etc." and continue with the next mod from the list ? Important Notes: - Sometimes the mods you install will be missing master files but that is okay! Just continue with the next mod and at some point the master files will be added - Sometimes Vortex will tell you that a mod became redundant. You can let Vortex to disable it. - Some mods contain multiple ESP files and you will be informed by Vortex. If this happens go to your Plugins Page and activate the needed ESP manually. - I left some of the mods in the list even if I don't use them because maybe you will like to use them so that you know which version to download that works with the rest. - Mods from Tesnexus are automatically downloaded to Vortex and you just need to install and activate them from the Mods Page. - For mods that are downloaded manually (e.g Loverslab mods) you need to copy them to Vortex Download directory yourself. They will then appear in the mods section in Vortex and you can install them. - Vortex supports .rar, 7z. .zip formats so don't worry about it - You don't need LOOT or any other sorting tool or any other mod manager because Vortex already has it all and is the best mod manager right now! Also remember: - While installing some of the mods Vortex may give you a conflict you need to resolve and then deploy the changes. Usually these conflicts mean that two or more mods use same resources already and you need to pick which mod will be used for the resources. Example: CBBE Body installed skin will conflict with the new body skin mod you install because they will both overwrite the same textures. If you pick your body skin from the new mod and load it AFTER CBBE Body textures Vortex will use the textures from your new body textures mod. If you have questions about how I made mods work, experience any problems or generally need help with something don't hesitate an ask me!! I will try to help you as best as I can so that you may enjoy your modded Fallout 4 as much as I do!!! 5) Known Issues Zazout can have possible issue - If you want to try out Zazout with all these mods installed you have to first unpack it into a directory (NOT YOUR FALLOUT4 GAME DIRECTORY!!). Manually delete everything file from that mod that would otherwise overwrite things in your game directory like scripts etc. Rename and repack the Zazout mod file into a .7z and then you can install it with Vortex. there must be no mod conflicts when installing with Vortex and if there are mod conflicts then make sure you load Zazout files BEFORE everything else it may conflict with! 5) Future Plans Please feel free to use the Fallout 4 Installation v1.0 readme as an installation/load order reference and add/edit or remove my existing comments and polish the file. Feel free to reupload your own readme with updated versions of the mods you use and some comments how to install them and what to be beware of for the rest of our community so everyone can use this readme as reference for their own mod setup in the future. Right now there is also no issue/bug tracker (if I'm not mistaken) for new mod versions or mod issues and people have to search through countless pages and forum topics from other users in hopes someone has the same problem and already found a solution. Fallout 4 Possible Issues v1.0 readme could serve as a simple bug tracking tool, users expand and upload where they provide description and solution to various bugs so the rest of us doesn't have to search like crazy everywhere on the internet... Maybe someone could manage the updated readme files from users to keep only a single master file with a track of what's new so they are not overriden and multiple versions don't exist. (These are just my ideas, two simple text files but could be very effective for troubleshooting and general overview) ? 7) Disclaimer This is no patch or anything. You need to download and install your mods yourself! Please remember all these mods I use are my personal preference, if you don't like some of them, simply don't install them! I'm not a creator, modder or scripter just a mere consumer with some basic knowledge of things like Bodyslide, Outfitstudio and Nifskope and small scripts which I use to make the mods I install run how I want. I will not post any of my personal changes on the mods I have downloaded and made compatible to not make the original creators angry and get banned from here If you need my help to make mods compatible with each other I may help you. If the game doesn't work for you after this guide then you simply didn't follow my instructions or changed load order in the wrong way in Vortex but this is not my fault! I'm just trying to help new and unexperienced players out with my guide. My files should contain no virus but scan them just to be sure. All my files are directly from my PC.
