Not only is the Commonwealth in complete ruins, the everyday toils of living in the harsh wasteland with raider gangs, mutants, and no functioning central government has transformed the human society for the worse. People now live in a crude, masochistic society where the strong prey on the weak, with little to no consequences. Due to a lack of a functioning criminal justice system, it is a common sight for men with no moral compass to be making sexual advances on women, knowing they can get away with it. Bystanders, who are usually too busy and stressed out with their own problems, often turn a blind eye, giving excuses that at least they are not being kidnapped by the Institute, or being eaten alive by feral ghouls. At the end of the day, there is nothing more important than survival for most people in the Commonwealth, and they are willing to concede many things, including decency and justice, in order to hold onto that. Over time, this attitude has resulted in a shift in people's opinion: it is now considered unthinkable and unacceptable to use deadly force to prevent an action that does not threaten one's life, such as sexual harassment and assault. The expectation has become that women should give in and just take it, so as to preserve the little peace that they have and remain focused on the more important problem of surviving in the deadly wasteland. There are much more worse things in the Commonwealth than sharing some bit of pleasure with men who often put in the work to protect the society, or so the sentiment goes. Nora finds herself in this perverted reality where some invisible forces are seemingly constantly trying to find ways to bring her down and turn her into a sex object. Will Nora have what it takes to rise above these challenges and succeed in establishing herself as a strong woman of dignity that should be respected and feared? Or will she succumb to these forces and get sucked into an inescapable hole where her sole purpose in society will become nothing more than being an object of gratification for hungry lustful men? > FEATURES Overview This mod will transform your Commonwealth to a masochistic society where NPCs approach, harass, and demand sex from players! It adds various scenarios where non-hostile NPCs approach the player to start a dialogue. The dialogue is usually about sex, of course, in one form or another. Depending on the player's state at the time (whether intoxicated, or aroused, etc. from Sex Attributes) the dialogue changes. In the beginning of the game, the dialogues will be rather tame, since the player is sort of an unknown identity. However, once the player starts to show any sign of being weak or easily preyed upon, the dialogues will start to become more aggressive and forceful. The overall theme of this mod includes: submission, exploitation, manipulation, coercion, deception, loss of control, brainwashing, and humiliation. It's centered around a female player, although a male player will still work but with reduced functionalities, and NPCs calling the player in female terms. NPC harassers were designed to be men. But they can also be women, per included MCM setting (dialogue will still assume male NPC, however). This mod features several different "types of approaches". Currently, they are the following: Shock collar approach. NPCs will approach the player if the player is wearing a shock collar from Real Handcuffs. The NPC will seek to dominate the player by shocking them until submission, and try to make the player their personal sex toy. Devious Device approach. NPCs will approach the player if the player is wearing Devious Devices, or Real Handcuffs/collars. Some will offer help. Some will offer help for a price. Others will try to take advantage of the defenseless player by force. Sex approach. NPCs will approach the player if the player is naked, or has a sex reputation for being a slut. They will demand sex from the player. Flirt approach. NPCs will approach the player to flirt. Eventually, they ask for sex. Fan approach. NPCs will approach the player to offer a sweet drink they made for the player., as a form of thanks for all the player has done. Some may offer a massage instead. Hypnosis approach. NPCs will approach the player to offer a hypno therapy session for caps. They claim the hypno therapy will rejuvenate them mentally. Blackmail approach. NPCs will approach the player and try to blackmail with incriminating pictures of the player. They will demand the player strip naked, put on devious devices, and have sex with them. Sex Attributes Integration The player's choices and how the NPC reacts to the player is largely based on the player's sex attributes. Here's a brief overview of how each attribute affects the player and the reacting NPC. Willpower. This stat allows the player to resist aggressive NPCs and repel their advances. During an approach, if the player has enough willpower, they will be able to select resist options. The willpower will be deducted afterwards. However, if the player does not have enough willpower, they will not be able to resist, and will need to turn to less reliable measures. Spirit. This stat indicates how suggestible and easily manipulated the player is. If the player has low spirit, some NPCs may try to manipulate the player to get into the player's pants. For hypno approach, lower spirit causes the player to become more susceptible to hypnosis at a faster rate, while higher spirit has the opposite effect. Low spirit will also make it easier for the NPC to persuade the player, while higher spirit means opposite. Dom/sub Orientation. This stat influences how easily or not easily the player can repel NPC advances. Being dominant decreases the willpower cost for resist options, while increasing the success chances for other options that do not cost willpower. On the other hand, being submissive increases the willpower cost for resist options, while decreasing the success chances for other free options. Sex Addiction. Being a slut makes it difficult for the player to refuse sex, requiring willpower just to refuse. When the NPC starts getting aggressive, being a slut will also negatively impact the player's options. It will increase willpower costs for resist options while decreasing success chances for free options. Arousal. Functions similarly to Sex Addiction. High arousal (being desperate for sex) will have similar effects to being a slut. Sex Reputation. Having a bad reputation will increase the likelihood of bad events triggering. If the player has a reputation for being a Prostitue or Slut, the NPC is more likely to be aggressive/demanding Intoxication Level. If the player is too drunk, NPCs are more likely to try to take advantage of the player and do more devious things. Being drunk will also make it easier for the NPC to persuade the player. Also, being drunk adds penalty to your reflexes, making it more difficult to resist NPCs who get physical. SPECIAL Certain SPECIAL stats also have their implications: Strength. This stat helps when things get physical. Some NPCs will try to take the player by force physically. Players with higher strength will require less willpower to resist physical advances, while lower strength will require more willpower. Charisma. When all other options fail, the player may try to use their charm as a last resort. Higher charisma increases the chance for pleads to succed while lower charisma does the opposite. Intelligence. This stat provides the player with protection from NPCs who may try to trick the player. If the player is too stupid, the player may fall victim to NPCs who pretend to help the player, but is really only trying to get into the player's pants. Agility. This stat increases the chance that the player will successfully struggle out of situations where the NPC gets physical. Luck. This stat affects a wide spectrum of chances. Higher luck increases the chance that good scenarios will happen (i.e. an NPC who agrees to unlock all devious devices from player for free) while decreasing the chance that bad scenarios will happen (i.e. an NPC who secretly spikes the player's drink). Lower luck has the opposite effect. NPC Morality Not all NPCs are created equal. Some will be genuinely decent (officially referred to as "decent"). Others will be outright evil (officially "evil). Then there are some who are somewhere in the middle ("questionable"). NPCs will act according to their randomly set morality. There is no way to know an NPC's true morality. The only option is to try to remember their history of actions and make an educated guess. And hopefully, you may be able to build a "circle of trust" of NPCs that you can fully depend on. Be careful, though; evil NPCs will sometimes do good things, to try to get the player to trust them, only to strike when the player is unsuspecting! Morality is assigned randomly and once an NPC has one assigned, they will keep it for the remainder of the save. It will only be assigned a new one upon creating a new game. This means every time you create a game, it's a whole new landscape! NPC Confidence Like Morality, each NPC will be assigned a random confidence level. This will dictate what that NPC is capable of. For example, if the NPC is not confident enough, no matter how evil they are, the nonconfident NPC will never approach the player to aggressively harass her. NPC Impression Of Player How the player responds to various NPC approaches affects how the NPCs start to view the player. If the player repeatedly gives in, or fails to resist, or doesnt stand up for herself, NPCs will start to perceive the player as a pushover, emboldening them and causing even NPCs that would've otherwise not had enough confidence to start being more bold. On the other hand, if the player repeatedly intimidates NPCs, or successfully resists them and often stands up for herself, NPCs will perceive the player as tough/hard to get and even the usually confident ones may have hesitation in approaching the player. Shock Collar Approaches NPCs will approach the player if the player is wearing a shock collar from Real Handcuffs. If the mod is not installed, this approach will not happen. The NPC will try to gain compliance and obedience from the player by repeatedly shocking. The NPC's ultimate objective is to make the player his personal sex toy. Note that only NPCs with evil morality will do this. The player will not be able to gain freedom until they find a way to remove the collar. Rumor has it that there is a resourcful mechanic called Johnny Hacker at the Diamond City Dugout Inn who can remove shock collars for a price. Optional Tattoo After Rape Integration If you have Tattoo After Rape installed, the NPC "master" will sometimes put tattoos on the player for punishment if the player disobeys. Devious Devices Approaches NPCs will approach the player if the player is wearing a devious device or handcuffs from Real Handcuffs. If neither mods are installed, this approach will not happen. Some NPCs will offer help for free - how kind! Some will offer help for caps, or sex. Some of the more evil ones will try to take the player by force! Generally, the chance for the NPC to force rape is lower if the player looks less "slutty", i.e. is not naked, doesn't have too many restrictive devices on, isn't wearing any slutty tattoos, etc. On the other hand, if the player looks outright "slutty", i.e. is naked, is tied up in devious devices, has slutty tattos, and/or has a reputation for being a slut/prostitute, then the chance for forced rape is greatly increased. Details: Devious Device Vulnerability System There are two thresholds for player's vulnerability from wearing too many devious devices: "vulnerable" and "helpless". Each type of devious device increases the player's vulnerability "score" differently. For instance, wrist cuffs increases vulnerability "score" by 5, while boots only increases it by 1. "Vulnerable" threshold is at 5, and "helpless" at 10, by default. That means if the player is wearing wrist cuffs, they will be considered at least "vulnerable" Crossing each threshold increases the likelihood of the NPC attempting to rape the player. Optional Tattoo After Rape Integration If you have Tattoo After Rape installed, and the player has tattoos from it that are visible (player is naked), then the NPC will be more likely to try to rape the player. Sex Approaches NPCs will approach and demand sex from players if they believe the player is a whore. This can happen under the following conditions: the player is caught naked, or the player has slut or prostitute Sexual Reputation Details: If the player has a low spirit, the NPC may try to manipulate the player into agreeing. Players may try to resist with willpower, but if they do not have enough willpower, will become manipulated and agree to the NPC. If the player has low intelligence and a reputation for being a prostitute/slut, the NPC may try to pretend that they are a doctor, and try to get the player naked for "diagnosis". Eventually, they will bind the player up and try to have sex. Flirt Approaches An NPC will approach the player and flirt. Eventually, they'll ask if the player is interested in sex. The player can refuse, or agree to have consensual sex. If the player is too aroused, refusing will cost willpower. If the player is too aroused and doesnt have the willpower, they will have no other option but to agree! Details: Fan Approaches Your player has become famous! As a result, some NPCs may want to give players some treat. A fan/admirer will approach player and offer a special drink! Not all NPCs are evil, I suppose. Some NPCs will offer a massage instead. Details: Hypnotist Approaches Post apocalypse Commonwealth is a strange place, and some people have turned to practicing hypnotherapy to ease people's minds, and make some caps. Some NPCs will approach the player and try to sell a hypno therapy session for just 10 caps. They claim that the therapy will make you feel better and heal some of trauma. This hypnotherapy will be more effective the lower the player's spirit is and be less effective the higher the spirit. So this might actually be a decent option for players who fell early and need help getting out of their slump. Details: Hypnosis Level Hypnosis level increases the effectiveness of hypnosis sessions, but also strengthens the conditioning level, making it more difficult (higher willpower cost) for player to snap out of trance. Blackmail Approaches If there are any scandalous materials out there regarding the player, an NPC may use that to try to blackmail the player and make demands. Some demands may be light, like just asking to see the player naked. Some may be more hardcore, like asking the player to tie themselves up with devious devices and/or Real Handcuffs, and then sex afterwards (configurable in MCM). This approach will only trigger if there are any scandalous materials that can be used for blackmail. There are 3 different types of scandalous pictures: Nude pics: pictures of player being naked Sex pics: pictures of player having sex with humans and non-feral ghouls Abomination sex pics: pictures of player having sex with anything that's not human or ghouls (i.e. feral, super mutant, animals, etc) Whenever the player has sex, or is caught being naked and there's an evil NPC nearby, there's a chance that one of them took some pics without the player knowing (you will not see or get notification for this). The chance that this happens per sex act or being naked is configurable in MCM. This also means that if the player never had sex, you'll never get a blackmail approach with sex pics (since no one has any of it). Details: > SIDE FEATURES > REQUIREMENTS AAF and all its requirements, including animations, themes Sex Attributes 2.5.6 or higher F4SE Optional MCM - if you want to be able to change settings Skimpy Armor Keyword Resource - NPCs will react differently based on how skimpy the player is dressed. Otherwise player is always assumed to be either fully naked, or fully clothed. Bound In Public - NPCs may tie player to a furniture in public F4Z RO D-OH - For dialogue lip syncing and ability to skip dialogues. Devious Devices and all its requirements - for devious devices integration (If you're using DD, you need Roggvir's DD Items Manager). Roggvir's DD Items Manager - if you want to use Devious Devices Real Handcuffs - for handcuffs integration Tattoo After Rape - for NPCs to react to player having slave tattoos Recommended: Combat Strip Lite - Introduces chances for enemies to strip your player naked in combat! > INSTALLATION Like you would any other mod, NMM (or equivalent) or manual. > UNINSTALLATION Since this mod doesn't modify player's stats, you should be safe uninstalling it normally. The values that it tracks (such as player's hypnosis level) are global variables and does not change the player's stats in any way. > PERMISSIONS This mod is as open source as it can get. That means you can take source code from this mod and adapt it into your mod. Copy implementation word for word, or just take ideas from it and add your own twist, it doesn't matter! Feel free to use every piece of feature or code in this mod for yourself. If you want, you can even build off of this mod as a starting point and add your own features! You might have to wait a little. To improve performance, this mod only scans every once in a while to see if player is nude and there are eligible NPCs around. Also, after an NPC approach, there is a cooldown that prevents more approaches to give players time to figure out her life (and leave the area). The cooldown is configurable in MCM. Can this be used for male players? Yes. But at this time, the dialogue is targeting female players. So it will work, but you will have to get used to being called "girl" or "lady". Also, currently all harassers are male, of ghoul or human race. I may expand that, or I may not. Depends on how much time I have. Can female NPCs be approachers? Yes and sort of. A female NPC can be approachers and there's an MCM option to toggle that. However, due to the sheer size of dialogues, female NPC dialogues haven't been added yet. So as long as you're OK with female NPC's referring to their "cock" (maybe in the Commonwealth people call dildos "cocks"?), the mod should function normally. Can you add more player as dominant content, like players harassing NPCs? No, this mod is intentionally focused on player as victim of harassment. Player's dominant trait (Sex Attributes) merely serves as a defense against NPC harassment. I don't see any dialogues! My player and NPC just stare at each other You need to enable dialogue subtitles from the game's setting menu. The dialogue is too long, and it won't let me skip it Install F4Z RO D-OH, which will let you skip dialogues. Help! My harasser keeps following me! The harasser will keep following you until you respond to him. He will not be ignored! If you keep ignoring and walking away from him, he may just decide to skip the dialogue and rape you on the spot. So, do yourself a favor and have a chat How do I block an NPC from being an approacher? MCM setting doesnt cover it, and I have a custom follower who won't stop annoying me! There may be cases where some particular NPCs aren't covered by the wide net of MCM settings. In such case, you can block one particular NPC, one at a time via console commands. Open console and left click on the NPC. Then type in the following and press enter: setav fpsh_noteligible 1 or If you have the NPC's reference ID: referenceID.setav fpsh_noteligible 1 After that, that NPC will never approach you for anything. Note that doing this will not abort any approaches currently in progress by that NPC. There's an MCM debug option to abort all current approaches. Can I assign a specific morality to an NPC? Open console and left click on the NPC. Then type in the following and press enter: setav fpsh_morality 1 (1 for evil, 2 for questionable, 3 for decent). or If you have the NPC's reference ID: referenceID.setav fpsh_morality 1 Can I assign a specific confidence level to an NPC? Open console and left click on the NPC. Then type in the following and press enter: setav fpsh_confidence 50 (range between 1 - 100. 1: least confident. 100: most confident). or If you have the NPC's reference ID: referenceID.setav fpsh_confidence 50 Can you add a feature to have the harasser follow you to a more private area before starting sex? Unfortunately, no. The dialogues branch off in so many different ways that introducing a "follow me" mechanic to each individual outcome would be a nightmare, and probably very bug prone. You can actually move (just press back) while in a dialogue. Once the NPCs talk to you, they will keep following you, so you can kind of use that to go to a more private place and resume the dialogue. Not the best, but it will still work. But don't take too long, as your harasser might get impatient and just decide to rape you. The NPC says we're going to have sex, but nothing happens and I can't move my character! Your AAF and all its dependencies were not installed correctly. This happens if the mod calls AAF to start an animation, but AAF is broken and can't start the animation, leaving you in the state where you can't move. Try reinstalling AAF and closely following the instructions that are available throughout this site. And ask support questions regarding AAF installation there. How does armor index/slot work? I have armor that's slot 33, but the MCM slider only allows 0 - 28. The game for some reason has 2 systems for armor index/slot. One is between 0 - 29, while the other is 30 - 59. Refer to this page (Biped slot documentation) for how to convert from one to another, and which item index number your intended armor uses. For instance, body armor would be armor index 3, chest armor would be index 11, Left arm armor index 12, Right arm armor index 13, Left leg armor index 14, Right leg armor index 15, and helmet would be index 0. Unforgiving Devices View File Version 2.0 should be much more stable than previous version. I still recommend to check compatible mods and be extra caution when using mods with bad compatibility or incompatible mods. There are now also a variety of debug fixes that can be accessed in MCM, so in case something go wrong you can use the fixes. (description was edited in accordance to beta 4) Unforgiving Devices is a framework extension for mod Devious Devices which focuses on adding more immersive and complex escape system. My goal with this mod is to make custom devices with custom behavior. My vision is to convert all devices from framework and give them custom behavior that will be more punishing and realistic for the player. With that, I mean something along this line: Gas mask will actually work like gas masks, reducing player ability to breath. Collars can choke a player. Moving in restrictive boots will hurt the player. Trying to swim with heavy bondage will drown the player. These are all examples of what I want to achieve in this mod (not what is currently in this mod yet). People currently/previously taking part in mode development @ihatemykite @BreadDain @iivanvv @kurotatsu @tznvlw Current features Reworked bondage devices - These new devices contains much more customization in comparison to Devious Devices. System of escaping the said devices is also reworked. Escape system is more focused on immersion and user feedback (sometimes more, sometimes less). These devices work in parallel to normal Devious Devices, and so can both types be used at once. Existing Devious Devices can also be converted to new type by using xEdit patch. Completed patches for Devious Devices and some other popular Devious mods are provided with main mod, and can be selected in installer. Reworked orgasm system - (almost) Every registered NPC can orgasm/be edged by wearing specific devices. Some devices, like soulgem plugs, can increase character orgasm progress ,which when reach top will cause orgasm. There are many more variables in play, which can make it harder/easier for character to reach orgasm. Every vibrator can also have different setting, like strength, duration and mod. Devious Swimming - Swimming with hand restrain can cause player to drown. Abadon quest - Small quest which more of works like mod demo. All devices are included in base mod and so can be used even without any patch. Quest is currently very short, but I'm planning on extending it in the future. UD have inbuild compatibility, so animations should hopefully work without issue. Skyrim Souls RE - LE / SE - Funnily makes the UD more stable, as there is no longer need to check if menu is open. Also makes mod little more harder/immersive. Optional mods ZazAnimationPack - LE / SE ; Use animations for struggle minigame SlaveTats - LE / SE ; Adds tear and drool overlay. This feature also require ZazAnimationPack. Security Overhaul - LE / SE - Adds unique locks for lockpick minigame. Require patch which can be selected when installing Unforgiving Devices in other patch category powerofthree's Papyrus Extender - LE / SE - Makes use of few functions to make mod more stable. For example, after some testing I have found out that for some reason, the Console Util can cause sometimes crash when hidding player during lockpick minigame. Luckily, powerofthree's Papyrus Extender adds its own function for hidding player, so crashes are no longer relevant. Only const is that this is little slower then Console Util. Installation In case you are installing the mod for fresh new game, then do following Download the mod from there (or from GitHub) Install it using mod organizer (either MO2 or vortex). You can select some additional features in fomod, like patches, or fixes. In case oyu installed patches, check that mod loaded is correct! Patch have to be ALWAYS loaded after Unforgiving Devices and the patched mod! Not doing so will make devices broken and can cause strange issues. This can even lead to the whole framework breaking down. In case you are using esp patches, the framework will give you error immediately after starting the game, so you will know that you have to move the patches. But if you use esl patches, the error will not show. So always double check after you install the mod that load orders are correct. You can see example on how the load order should look at the last page of fomod. (optional, but highly recommended) Run LOOT. This way, it should be impossible for patches to be installed incorrectly. LOOT will also check if incompatible mods are not installed after patches. If you intend to install Unforgiving Devices on existing save, do following Rethink your choices. Even if you do following, it might still not work correctly. Best is to just start the new game. If you still insist, do the following Uninstall Devious devices (all modules) and all mods that require it. Open the save in ReSaver and clean all unattached forms. This way, save should be clean from Devious Devices. Load the save in game, wait some time and save the game. Install Devious Devices back and all other uninstalled mods. DO NOT LOAD THE SAVE YET Immediately install Unforgiving devices. Follow steps which are in the guide above. You have to load the save as if you never used Devious Devices and Unforgiving Device before. Otherwise, Unforgiving Devices will not correctly override some DD scripts and will not work. Compatibility List of tested mods which are working or not. There are only mods which I personally tested. Devious Lore - Not issue, works fine Devious Lore DD Patch - Not compatible with Unforgiving Devices DD Patch! Install either before UD and any of its patches, or disable. Devious Devices - SE patch (part of Devious Devices for Special Edition) - Not compatible with Unforgiving Devices DD Patch! Install either before UD and any of its patches, or disable. Devious Strike -Not issue, works fine Works fine, but might UD might have issue many devices being locked at once (like when many strikers spawn at once). I recommend to reduce spawn chance so not too many strikers can spawn at once. Devious Enhanced chest - Not issue, works fine Devious Cursed Loot - Not very compatible (but works). If you only care about random devices, I would better recommend Devious Enhanced chest. Requires Patch. Patch doesn't cover 100% of devices as there are too many of them. There are reported issue with some quest. Laura's Bondage Shop - Not issue (for now) Requires patch, but it can technically be skipped (I didn't test it without it) All quest works fine, but I didn't finish them all yet, only till 75%. Devious Pink - Requires Patch, otherwise didn't found any issue. Development Most of the development takes place on the GitHub. As so, any user can directly observe the mod development there. Reporting issues there is also preferred, as it can be easier tied to specific part of the mod implementation. It will also be harder to forget about the issue this way. Lastly, every time there is an update to indev version of the mod, a nightly build will be created. The latest nightly build can be downloaded from there. Be warned that it is still in dev version, and as so can be broken. Only use NB if you are interested in trying the latest features, which are not yet public on LL. My main reason for making them was to make escaping restrains less RNG. You will actually have to invest not small amount of time to escape them. Many of them have various stats and modifiers, making most devices unique. (some shortscuts: DPS = Durability per Second, S key = Special key, C key = crit key) Following stats are added to all devices Durability: Once 0, device gets removed. Condition: Every point of reduced durability also reduce condition. After 100 points of condition are reduced, the overall condition get worse (Excellent -> Good -> Normal ...). Reduced condition increase DPS. Once condition get reduced to broken, device gets unlocked. Locks: Number of locks which needs to be unlocked before the device is unlocked. Every unlocked lock also increase overall dmg to device- Cooldown: Is in minutes and defines how often will device activate itself. Accessibility: Defines how hard the device is to be reached with arms. All heavy bondage devices have Accessibility 100%, because arms are always in contact with them. If Accessibility is less then 100%, struggle minigame will become less effective. There are many cases in which Accessibility is reduced. Example may be wearing blindfold while also wearing hood. Logically, this makes blindfold less accessible, and so it is harder to remove it. Loose minigame increase Accessibility if its inaccessible (like when having tied arms). Following modifiers can be added to devices. Not all of these modifiers are stored in form of string, some are more complicated (Like Contains Items). Sentient: Device can active itself if player tried to remove it. If device activate itself, other equipped device will be active instead. Regeneration: Device will slowly regain some of its durability. Destroy on remove: Device will get destroyed after remove Contains loot: Device will drop items when removed (requires Destroy on remove) Contains gold: Wearer will receive some gold when the device is removed Random manifest: Device have random chance to lock wearer in device/s. Orgasm manifest: There is chance that device will lock wearer in device if wearer orgasms. Modifiers can be edited by using debug menu. For every second of struggling some durability is reduced. Once durability reaches zero device will get succesfully escaped. There are following variants: Regular struggle: Only drains stamina. Is affected by Agility attribute Desperate struggle: DPS is increased by max health of player. DPS also scales with device health (the less the durability the more the dps). Will drain stamina and health. Is affected by Strength attribute Magick struggle: DPS is based on max magicka of player. Deals 150% dmg to condition. Will drain magicka and stamina. Is affected by Magick attribute. Slow struggle: Have very small DPS but also don't drain any stats (they even regenerate at slower rate). This struggle can be also initited at all time, even if player have very small stats. To counterpart previous ponts, devices have new variables: Physical resistance: Reduce DPS of Regular struggle,Desperate struggle and Slow struggle. Magick resistance: Reduce DPS of Magick struggle Cutting: Player will have to rapidly press S key to cut device. Once cutted, the device will lose big amount of its condition and also some of its durability. Lockpicking: Player can access the device locks by crit. This will start vanilla skyrim lockpick minigame. Unlock with key: Player can unlock lock by landing the crit. Crit failure can break the key and jams the lock. Repair lock: This minigame is only available if at least one lock is jammed. Every crit will increase progress for repairing the lock. The harder the lock the harder it is to repair. In some minigames, crits can occur. This will cause either the magicka meter or stamina meter to blink OR, if the shader effect is active, by body shader applied to player. If player fastly press correct C key (Default: A for M meter, D for S meter), something will happen. In struggle minigame, more durability will be reduced, in cutting minigame more progress will be added. Also every device can have different crit multiplier which changes how efficient the crit is. But they can also have different chance of the crit occurring. So some device may have very small chance of crit happening but will have big multiplier, making the crit more rewarding. Some minigames require player to press S key to progress (like removing the plug or cutting minigame) All devices can also be damaged when wearer is hit by weapon or by spell. Amount of damage is reduced/increased by: Weapon Hit Resist: Is by default same as Physical Resist, but in some cases can be different (+- 25%) Spell Hit Resist: Not implemented yet, spells do nothing for now. Some minigames are affected by new attributes. Every attribute is made from various normal skyrim skills. Agility: Made from Pickpocket skill Affects Regular struggle Strength: Made from 2h skill Affects Desperate struggle Magick: Made from Destruction skill Affects Magick struggle Example: If player have 2h skill = 15, Destruction = 15 and Pickpocket = 25 -> Agility = 25, Strength = 15, Magick = 15 Every point of attribute increase corresponding minigame effectiveness by 1% (1.5% for Regular struggle) This value can be seen in wearer detail option of device detail menu Following devices types were changed Plugs: They can be struggled from as long as player doesn't have belt or harness. But having tied hands,wearing hobble dress or bondage suit will reduce effectiveness of this method. Sentient plugs have chance of turning themself on. Instead of normal struggle minigames, player have to force out the minigame. This is done by rapidly pressing the S key. Inflatable plugs: Can be inflated/deflated. In case of player having tied arms, they can still try to manipulate the plug, but it requires to struggle. Also the more the plug is inflated, the harder it is to remove it. Sentient modifiers adds chance of this plugs inflating themself. Panel gags: Their plug can be removed/added all time. Having tied hands will start minigame in which player needs to remove the plug. Sentient mod gives this gag ability to insert the plug back if it was removed. Mittens: Struggling with mittens is less effective Inflatable gag: WIP Following device types were created Controlable plug: Plug which can be turned on and off. Once turned on, the plug will slowly discharge itself (stronger vibs will discharge plug faster). Plug can be also turned off with tied hands, but player will need to complete minigame. Sentient mod adds chance of plug turning itself on with random vib strength. Dynamic Heavy Bondage: Devices which doen't not by default tie player. But they can be activated to do so, or they can do it by themself. There are currently 2 types Arm cuffs: Player arms are tied like when wearing armbinder. They can be either untied (which will not unlock cuffs) or they can be escaped, which will also untie player arms (like when escaping armbinder). Leg cuffs: Player legs are tied like when wearing hobble skirt. The skirt use different body slot then in DD, and so may be in conflict with some other mods. DD use for hobble skirt body slot. Reason is that I wanted to it so the legs can be tied while also wearing body armor (like catsuits). Abadon plug: More info down in description Also, in case you are using DD Cursed Loot, you have to disable Device buffs and Horny buffs, which for some reason kill player when they reach small HP. Guide in spoiler below ---------------------------Abadon Plug--------------------------- Plug that is locked on player and grow stronger over time. To get this quest you will need to complete quest Dragon Rising (quest where you kill dragon at tower in front of whiterun). After that you should get letter from courier which will start the quest. If you just wan't to jump directly to action you can either complete Dragon rising quest by entering "help MQ104" and then "completequest <id which you got for MQ104>". If you don't want to break game, you can also type "help UD_AbadonQuest" and then "completestage <Abadon Curse quest id> 10". This will send the courier. This quest is still in making so there is not much to it. It just works as natural way for obtaining this plug. Later i will work more on bad ending so it actually have some kind of story. ---------------------------Custom vibrations/orgasm--------------------------- Adds new system to manage actor orgasm. This system works in following way. Actor have new varible called Orgam Rate (ORAT) which defines how fast will actor orgasm (or if actor will be edged). If actor is player, widget will be shown above the device widget (Shows when orgasm progress is more then 5%). On every second, actor orgasm progress (OP) will increase by ORAT, but also gets reduced by small value, which is defined by Orgasm resistence (ORES). This negative value is called Anti Orgasm Rate (AORAT), and its bigger the more the actor is close to orgasm, topping at 100% where AORAT = ORES. Because of that, for actor to be able to reach orgasm, ORAT needs to be atleast little bigger then ORES. Otherwise, OP will stop somewhere before 100% -> actor is edged. If progress reaches 100%, actor orgasms, and normal DD orgasm event is called. Also reworked how vibration function work to make this work Vibrate function is much simpler then the one in DD. It mostly only increase actor arousal and applies ORAT This means that every device can vibrate on its own. So one device can start to vibrate and one of them can stop before the other etc.. AORAT also changes with increasing arousal. AORAT reaches its minimum when actor arousal is 100. This is exponencial, and function for this looks like this: AORAT = fRange((Math.pow(10,fRange(100.0/Arousal,1.0,2.0) - 1.0)),1.0,100.0)*ORESM*(OP*(ORES/100.0)) ---------------------------Orgasm resist minigame--------------------------- Player can start orgasm resisting minigame by pressing Player Menu Key. The more the ORAT, the more stamina will be sapped for second of minigame. Minigame have crits, which are set at constant 15%. Striking crit will restore some stamina and also reduce orgasm progress. Failing the crit will do the opposite. This can cause player to orgasm if OP is too big Mechanic with Special button. Minigame widget will randomly change color. Holding the S button while color is changed will result in different effects. Red: Reduce stamina consumption by 75% Green: Reduces orgasm progress. Also reduces stamina consumption by 25%. Blue: Reduces arousal. Also reduces stamina consumption by 25%. Effects are active for as long as the button is pressed and the color is changed. If the button is pressed while color is normal (pink), stamina consumption will increase by 100%. Duration of how long will be color changed is random, so sometimes its better to stop pressing the S button befor it changes to normal color and starts draining more stamina ---------------------------Other functionality--------------------------- Other things that this mod do. Orgasm exhaustion: When player orgasms, exhaustion debuff is applied for set period of time. This debuff decrease player stamina/magicka regeneration. Player will also be unable to wait. Works with any DD/SL induced orgasm (aka you don't need any special device, any plug by framework/other mods will have this effect, as long the orgasm event is sent). Can be toggle/modified in mcm. It also: Reduces Orgasm Rate multiplier Reduces Arousal rate multiplier Heavy bondage swimming: Swimming with tied hands is very hard. Player will starts loosing stamina and have movement speed reduced by big amount. Once stamina runs out, player will start to drown. While drowning, player will be slowed even further and starts to also loose health. This can kill player (obviously) so if you don't like it you can turn it off in mcm. There are also 3 difficulties to choose from if it is too hard/easy for you. From balance perspective: if you drop down in middle of lake, you will for 100% die. Crossing small rivers should be ok if there is not strong stream. Waterbreathing will prevent player from loosing health when drowning (but slow will be still applied). You can't currently get any most of this devices in the game by natural means. You will have to either use console or AddItemMenu. For abadon plug you can alternatively use my mod Alternate start - More Devious Starts that will give you option of starting game with this plug. NPC support Any of this devices Abadon plug wont work with NPCs so don't try to quip it on them. This devices are supposed to be more script heavy and making them to also work for NPCs would propably make your PC explode. I even added some simple safe check that should prevent player from equiping it on NPCs. Devices will work mostly like normal devices excapt for abadon plug which should never be used on npc. Devices will work but they will lose their custom behavior. As of version 1.16, npcs are supported. This means you can lock any device on npc and it should work. The system and how it works is little too complicated so i will try to explain at least the how it fundamentaly works. There are 10 npc slots. All of this slots are automatically (by default) scaned in 4s inteval. Only npcs which wear Unforging device and are alive will be registered. All registered npcs are periodically updated like player. This means even npcs devices can regen, activate their effect and other things thet depends on update function. Every registered npc have also slots for devices. If npcs have device locked on them, this device will get registered. Theese devices can be accesed in MCM debug menu. If npc is NOT registered, the devices can still be accesed using new function which fetch the device by transefering it between storages. This makes the device flicker. Every device can be accesed with container menu. Best way to try this is follower because it alows player to acces its inventory from start. Other npcs starege can be accessed by either sneaking or if player have free hands and npcs doesn't (if npcs can, why we can't ?). Player can also help npcs to struggle. This will start new minigame with boosted stats. Player can also get help from other npcs this way (just click on desaired device while having container menu opened with npc). There are also new device menu options Tighten up: Increase device durability by ~10 Repair: Increase device condition by ~23 Command: Only avaible for followers. Allow player to command npcs what should npc do. This way player can force npc to star solo minigame. If player want to force npc to stop the minigame, they have to choose dialogue option [STOP MINIGAME]. Lastly, there is mcm option to dissable automatic slot scan. In case of disabling this, most features should still be avaible. Only thing that will not work is that devices will not get updated. Also player can force scan manually using mcm debug menu. Undesired slots can also be removed this way. Hi, I'm having a problem with Deviously Cursed Loot 8.5, since this problem never occurred in 8.4 before. Basically, when a Cursed Loot event occurs, some items that are supposed to be marked as equipped appear as unequipped, which makes it impossible to remove them. I tried using the Safeword debug option, but it only removes the items marked as equipped. Even tried reinstalling the mod and Devious Device, but the same problem just keep happening again. Can somebody tell me how to fix this?

In the "Switch Character" option, include features to check devices, record them, unequip, and reequip. When switching characters using PROTEUS, check if there are equipped devices. If the character is wearing a quest device, abort the character switch. For regular devices, save the equipped devices to individual JSON files (separate from PROTEUS items). Then, unequip all devices from the character and switch characters. Check if the switched character has a record of previously worn devices, and if so, reequip them. Important notes: There won't be a check for whether the worn toys are mission items (I still don't know how to check for quest toys...) If the switched character or the target character has worn toys (you may encounter messages about missing toy assets when switching), you must enter the MCM for toys to reset the character. Basically the vast majority of devious devices are invisible. I use UNP so installed the skyrim unp bodyslide folder, i have tried batch building with this but all textures remain invisible.

Player characters with a penis should use the "Cocked" version. Both versions are now compatible with version 1.16.8! Info: As a fan of twistedtrebla's Sexual Harassment mod there was one thing I wanted to see change. The option exists in the MCM to allow female harassers but many sections of the dialogue use he/him/his pronouns to refer to the NPC's. My goal with this 'translation' is to make those interactions gender neutral in the sense that the NPCs will refer to themselves as they/them. There are now 2 translations to choose from. If your character has a vagina, please choose "Uncocked". If your character has a penis, please choose "Cocked". Uncocked may still include some female player character pronouns, but I tried to make Cocked more neutral when it comes to the player in order to support a broader range of play styles. If you want to see a sample of the dialogue changes, I've moved them into this post on the support thread. Generally I changed the NPC pronouns and adjusted the grammar accordingly. If you play through as a male presenting character with a vagina and don't feel that either of these versions work for you, I want to let you know that I'm hoping to do a third version in the future. Animations themselves are slightly edited versions of original DDs Armbinder anims. "LRG Test Armbinder(Belt)" has "hobbled" walking animations, while others use normal walk/combat anims. "Hobbled" device does not have combat animations, since you are not suppose to fight with tied arms and legs. Hobbled walking anims are ridiculously fast, because when wearing Devious Device with Hobbled effect character gets a significant speed debuff which reduces animation speed. This device does not have Hobbled effect, so we are seeing its original speed. Devious Heatrise SE + LE (Updated 1/18/2021) View File Devious Heatrise (DHr) is a Devious Device content mod themed around temperature-controlled plugs. Main Content 18 unique, individually unlockable, temperature-controlled plugs. (All plugs can only be used by the player character.) A replayable training quest with 35 different trials (punishments) wearing an advanced chastity belt. A progression system allowing the player to level up temperature tolerance skills. (Yes this will increase fire/frost resistance in combat.) I don't want to spoil the content. You should give it a try, if you are interested in plugs and/or training wearing chastity belts. Requirements Skyrim Special Edition or Skyrim Legendary Edition* *Regarding LE compatibility: I have not done any testing on LE. You can change the unit in the MCM menu. It is the first option in the "Common" tab. Why are the units displayed as "C"/"F" instead of properly as "°C"/"°F"? Because Skyrim apparently does not have the "°" symbol. If I put that character in, it will just display gibberish instead. How do I terminate the training quest? You can forcefully terminate the quest by going to MCM menu. It is located in the "Training Quest" tab. Alternatively, you can use the "Terminate DD quests" in the "Debug" tab of Devious Device's MCM. Devious Heatrise listens for the termination signal and will stop the quest correctly. (It might report a couple errors regarding not able to find some devices. If so, it is normal, as Devious Device has already removed those.) I just scratched my head and came up with these. Why did you implement the transcend functionality for those temperature tolerance skills? Well, the reason is that I played a lot of Devious Training. However, I noticed, it is always that at one point, my levels are so high, that the buffs from those devices rendered me almost invincible. I don't like that. I want those devices to punish me, instead of making me stronger. With that mindset, I implemented the transcend functionality, so it provides an incentive for the players to zero out their skills and relive the days when the plugs are still torturous to them. Why do I keep lose stamina/health/magicka when wearing those temperature-controlled plugs? When the temperature of the plugs are too high/too low for you, you will start to lose stamina/health/magicka. The amount to lose can be configured in the MCM menu under the "Advanced" tab. Why do those plugs constantly drain my stamina/health/magicka, instead of just apply a debuff? Because I want the effect of those plugs to feel strong. Constantly draining stamina/health/magicka will keep on reminding the player that those incredibly uncomfortable plugs exist. Why do those plugs only work with the player character? It is mainly due to technical limitations. I have not figured out a way to effectively store and update a large amount of temperature controlled plugs. What if other mods equip some NPCs with Devious Heatrise's plugs? If my script works correctly, those plugs should disappear immediately when they are equipped. Why is Devious Device 5.0 required? Because Devious Device 5.0 fixed a bunch of bugs. I don't want to support a version with bugs that will never be fixed. How heavy is Devious Heatrise, script-wise? It should not be that heavy. As an added bonus, it will put itself to sleep if no device from Devious Heatrise is worn. What should I do if I accidently exited out the checkup dialogue? You can talk to Arcadia again and choose the "(Devious Heatrise) I came for the checkup." It should resume the checkup from where you left off. Why do two vibration events sometimes start simultaneously? Since Devious Heatrise requires finer control over the vibrations of the plugs (Vibrate until orgasm, for example), it is not possible to use Devious Device's VibrateEffect. Therefore, Devious Heatrise uses its own vibration controller. That said, Devious Heatrise tries really hard to work with Devious Device, so that Devious Device's vibrations and Devious Heatrise's vibrations will not start at the same time. To prevent Devious Device from starting a vibration event when Devious Heatrise' vibrations are going, Devious Heatrise tricks Devious Device into thinking a vibration of its own is currently running. However, it is still possible that, under some super rare circumstances, Devious Device will "untrick" itself and therefore start a vibration event despite the one from Devious Heatrise is still in process. Devious Strike - beta - LE/SSE View File This is my first Mod and english is not my bla bla ... who even cares? Let's get right into it. Have you ever thought: Skyrim's combat is not exciting enough? AND There are almost no mods that handle Devious Devices during combat? < OOhhh BOY do i have a solution for you > ! Check below to see how to properly upgrade to new Versions ! ABOUT For short version scroll down to the Features list. This mod adds a new enemy the world of Skyrim, you can find them amongst various factions. These enemies are called 'Strikers', they have deviously enhanced weapons and spells on them. Their sole purpose is to wrap up the dragonborn in Devious Devices. How? Well.. these weapons and spells have the ability to transfer one or multiple Devices from attacker to target. This means that the Strikers, who are already covered in Devices from top to bottom will render you more and more helpless with every hit you take . If they manage to get a set amount of hits on you, ALL their devices will be transferred at once! But don't worry, it gets worse (or better, depending on your point of view): when they deplete your health to a set percentage, you will receive extra punishment, in the form of heavy bondage or devious furniture. If you manage to kill one of those Strikers, they will drop device keys and some other loot. This should give you a good motivation to kill a Striker when encountering one. If you are very lucky you might get a weapon drop from them. With their weapons you can turn the tables and rid your devices on other folk! Also when deciding against a fight, be aware that they run faster than just normal bandits and will most likely catch up sooner than you think. The mod has high customizability through an ever expanding MCM Menu. If at some point during your playthrough devices will no longer transfer, take a look at the debug page and check for the option "Are events blocked?" when this is enabled and no other mod is currently doing something then you should be fine to tick the option "Reset Block Flags". BE CAREFUL WITH THIS AS IT CAN BRAKE OTHER MODS! if you are unsure, ask first. Striker will redraw their weapons/spells mid fight after a successful transfer. Sadly i won't be able to fix this and i don't even know where it comes from Gender detection is a bit wonky at the moment, sadly i cant do much about it. ONLY against NPCs though When entering an interior cell and backing out again, the game will respawn strikers for every time you reenter and change there outfit. I will work on this for the next update Reanimated Corpses turn into strikers when changing cells.
