This time we follow Aesir on a dungeon crawling experience. There's not much to be said here really, she's just a concept I liked and wanted to see in action. The word "berserker" refers to a warrior specialty class in Nordic culture which consisted on warriors going to battle naked and wearing only shields and one handed weapons while heavily influenced by hallucinogens. Much could be said about battle strategy, and it's an interesting topic, but this character is as simple as it gets. As most of my characters, the lore is always evolving, starting as simple ideas and then who knows. For now, the only facts I have straight are that she's a Nord, and she goes around naked because that's how she was trained. She possibly has some strong religious beliefs and a deep traditionalism to cultural roots. But, even then, she's not about lore, she's about 2 simple things: Boobs and action. So here it goes. I ran up and tackled the guard. She drew her rifle when she heard me coming up the stairs, but didn't have time to fire. I thought about using her body as a landing mat, she deserved nothing more than this - the bitch had tormented me for months. On my way out of the control room, someone had left a handwritten message on the fence: "If you want to disappear forever, meet me at the Concord Museum." It might be my only chance to vanish from the Commonwealth without a bounty on my head. I had to go, Concord was about fifteen minutes' walk north, past the woods. In the woods, I found among a pile of branches a board that I could use as a weapon. It wasn't much, but at least I could defend myself against the local wildlife if I came across any. I didn't know what to expect at the meeting place. I doubted the value of my makeshift weapon, but if I could get a better one... Or rather, a pair of boots. After about ten minutes of running through the forest, I saw a large building next to a church. From what I remembered, it was definitely the Concord Museum. All I had was my prison jumpsuit, a board and my bare feet. The odds were clearly on my side before the big reveal. I walked into the museum. Inside, a raider's corpse was displayed, along with a familiar woman's presence on the back bench: Calista, my former slave who had visited me in prison. Why had she come here? Did she want to finish me off? "Isabel! Welcome! I knew you'd make it, I never doubted your skills. We don't have much time, so I'll have to be brief. Your freedom comes at a price. Calista had given me that option, and I thanked her for it. Besides the shotgun I had found in an abandoned house, a rather friendly dog was in the vicinity. I underestimated her then she turned me in to Goodneighbor's rulers, whom I'd tried to con by allying myself with the Triggermen, their local enemies. I was still chained and gagged in their prison cell when the woman who had escorted me in, Fahrenheit and her boss Hancock showed up for a quick chat: "At last we got you Isabel. You've made quite the mess these last few weeks around Goodneighbor and you're going to pay for it. My associate here will handle your interrogation. I want names and locations on the Triggermen. The faster you tell us, the less you'll have to suffer. Your choice starting tomorrow." I wasn't going to talk. Fuck them. Torture sessions began. For several days I was beaten all over my body. "Where are they hiding? Say it!" I remained silent, I had no intention of giving that bitch anything. Punching method failed. The cunt switched to the whip. My whole back and buttocks were lacerated by her repeated lashings day after day. "Tell me where the Triggerman's place is!" My skin burned red hot from the pain but I persisted in keeping my mouth shut. The whip also failed. The bitch used my slave's method to make me talk: tickling. "Calista was right, you are ticklish! "I never thought my little thefts and robberies would bring me here, to this jail. I've been here for 3 months now and I'm dreading the day when I'll become a slave... I'm trying to get used to the idea, but it's hard... Anyway, I'll shut up. If you want to talk, I'm always here." The days passed and looked the same. I spent most of my time in my cell, except for meal times, held at the canteen next door. The bruises went away, but not the deep lashes on my back. I hadn't set foot outside since my arrival at the prison until that day: "Hey new girl! Congratulations, you'll be tending our crops today. You'll be partnered with Trixie, she's been in solitary confinement since her escape attempt. Don't even dare because you'll be punished more severely, you've been warned." It was nice to see the sun again and feel the fresh wind on my skin. Even if I had to do a dirty job, digging the earth with my bare hands to tend the crops, at least I wasn't alone in my misfortune. "Oh shit, you're Queen Isabel, aren't you? I barely recognized you, you're famous all over the Commonwealth!" "In another life I was, yes. So you're Trixie and you tried to escape, didn't you?"
