  1. I think modderbase has some resources like those special exes that you mention also, you can look for Autolink, as far I as I know you can use this tool in legit steam copies, this tool Autolink is to use mods way more easily that custom DLC's or lnk_reshuffle, you just make a faolder with the character name and drag and droop all the mods for it and in game in the character screen select the mods that you want to use, it doesn't replace anything, itt's a very useful tool. That file above that someone posted it is a tool to view your models, and you can make some changes in them using this too
  2. Use the Weight Paint function from blender, but first, delete all weights from the mesh you want to edit, load your model in blender, then select the mesh you want to edit, in this case the body lace, then on the right side of your screen in blender you'll see a few options to choose, click on the icon of a triangle the one that is at the right of the wrench, then look for the ''Vertex Groups'' sub window, there, click on the blakc triangle and choose ''delete all groups'', then do the Weight Paint, follow the instructions here

  4. what do you want to do exactly?, a few months ago a person asked for help to make a see through mod, I did a quick tuto for that, but it turns out that the person did not even knew how to use blender, not even knew how it works or how to load a model, it was frustrating because it made me feel like I wasted my time for nothing, it was as if he wanted to nail his first mod on his first attempt without ever having touched the tools before, the tutorial is still on if you want to check it. and here's an old thread with info about the tools and where to find them https://w

  15. and what?, try to make your own tests with the tools, test the functions, remember, try and error, or just google the damn thing if you don't know how to change colors to any picture you've loaded, do you think that everyone were born knowing how this tool works? BTW pain.NET is the easiest tool to use, and you'll need to search and install the .DDS plug in to import and export this type of file, which is the one that the game uses in the models, yeah, you have to google this too.
  16. seems like the modder did a mistake in the TMC configuration, you have to use it with its original .---C file, and make copies for your transformed models as well, you might use it with only 2 hairstyles though, to fix this, you need TMC object Tool, open your model and change every slot from ''visible'' to ''-'', also, with this tool you can erase the fans, select the main object slot(select the part where you can change from visible to hide and -), then right click and delete object, then check delete unused(you can check where it says delete unused textures too,), save and it's done, btw, m
  17. it can be done with a few clicks using LR Photo Studio, the same with the Valentine's apron set, but, if you want something more complex like include the malfunction feature, it would involve a process a little bit more difficult than just removing parts, still, anyone can make it.
  18. I think you need to learn how to mod for L4D2 first, then try to adapt materials, tools and models, both games are completelly different, when it comes to modding you'll find a lot of limitations, as long as you have patience, time and skills, it would be possible.
  19. the HDM references for ABC tool are in the ''official'' BP mod mega link, in the modder utilities tab.
  20. use the texture tool to extract the textures, then use other program(photoshop,paint.NET, GIMP, etc.) to edit the textures, then again, use texture tool to insert the textures
  21. I think it's from this guy in deviantart https://www.deviantart.com/doa5lrscreenshots but I remember he mentioned that it was a modified normal texture(the blue one) that he used for his photos.
  22. for understand more about .PHYD files and how to edit them, you can get some info from this 2 topics and
  23. sadly, no, there are no tools for this file, as far as I know, only hex editor works, also due to game mechanics, only 1 or 2 levels of destruction are possible, 2 levels only under certain circumstances, quite tricky I must say, this is highly related with the use of TMC Object Tool and what kind of mod you want to make.
