I kind of agree with you about the amount of slavery mods. Some of the older slavery mods aren't as capable as the newer ones. I almost think giving old mods a makeover might be more worth the time then starting from scratch. SD+ is still in my load order but i basically just use it for animations (crawl, etc) and the spriggan quest. I think the thing missing is the flair of losing a battle and being taken captive. SD+ seemed to me narrow on how to escape, and creatures taking you over put a collar on you? didnt seem to make sense. the tie in with SD Cages is good. but I think if we can make something more simple like how the Devious Devices Escape Overhaul mod author is doing might be more functional then writing a new mod from scratch. then again, trying to combine all these mods might be a head ache too.. so the ideal plot line would go:
1. combat loss or a kidnapping
2. taken a slave (stripped of gear which would be stored locally (creature) - or held by captor or sold (humanoid) then have a mcm variable setting).
3. escape mechanics. I would like to add a Devious Follower that comes and kills your Master and takes you as a slave
or you need to pick a lock, or wait for the creature to sleep, sneak off. I did like a mod that had you become part of a slave walk to the slavery markets to be sold. or we could just port to that mod instead. Or being bought by a Devious Follower (mcm for just like Alternate Death of what kind of follower - sells you, keeps you a Devious Follower (or Lola), or just lets you go... Or asks for just a cash payment.
