During the morning coffee with my luvs after our morning routine on my real birthday yesterday, my Prince told us that he has another surprise for me. He said he is taking us and Mikey in the tavern he reserved place earlier. My Ivy didn't know about it. Anyway, I was looking for it because I like surprises especially if they come from my Prince.
We had e.b. meeting in Monday morning and we discussed about summer season. My Fran brought cookies, cakes and beverages that has left from the party and we treated our colleagues. Final calculations and reports said we had slightly better summer season than the last year. This was our first independent summer season without dad Boss as hotel manager and we did it well. We had no failed projects; only few ones with less income than we expected. We rewarded all chief of departments and our workers. Thanks to my Prince's "system" we had no extra expenses. Thieves and vandals were financially punished so we covered the loss. We contacted Mister "XXX" and informed him about successful season thanking him for help in sending Americans to our Hotel. He was very proud at us and he commended our work. Everything is returning to normal again and we will start to plan winter season after short break that everyone deserved.
My Prince doesn't stop to amaze me in both: business and private life. I don't know if you remember the humanitarian organization his father founded which has two senior homes in two different cities in Istria and which our Hotel financially support. Well, he wanted to check how they have been doing. He and Antonio contacted Antonio's connections and he sent two social workers in unannounced inspection to both places. One to each facility. They discovered some irregularities in one senior home. Namely, the money that they received and they suppose to spend for better nutrition and hygienic conditions wasn't invested in it. When my Prince received the copy of their report, he compared it with reports he received from both senior homes. He found the figures doesn't match. He immediately called the director and told him about it. He said to him that he can't tell if he knew about it or not, but if it happens again, we will stop sending the money directly to association's account; we will hire a lawyer who will receive the money and will make sure that it goes for named purposes. The director apologized to my Prince saying he didn't know about it and he promised he'll take a better control of the money flow in both senior homes. While many people in my Prince's position would immediately stop funding that organization because of financial malversation, my Prince didn't want to stop helping poor old people. He found the way to continue. Yes, my dear readers, that's my Prince.
His sister called me on video chat from the school to congratulate me my birthday. She showed me birthday cake she made with the help of her teachers and other students. She made me cry sending numerous kisses and "I love you" signs. She is such an angel. Now, about the subject from the title. We all dressed nicely for my birthday dinner in the tavern. Of course, we took all necessary for Mikey. When we arrived, my Prince led us to our table in the corner. It was decorated very nicely with my favorite flowers. We didn't need menu because he ordered our favorite meals. I was very touched. I looked at him with look filled with oceans of love while he held Mikey in his arms. During dessert time, his smart phone rang and he only said: "Yes". Few minutes later I was shocked and I dropped my spoon seeing my "ex" who used to beat me when we dated and who heavily beat my Prince with his two friends after our break up. My Ivy, Antonio and the Guys heavily hurt them that they spent half of the year in the hospital. However, he was in company of the guy my Ivy and I didn't know. Both of them carried flowers. Silvano walked behind them. My ex kneeled before me and giving me flowers, he said:
- Eva, I'm truly sorry for everything I have done to you and to your husband. I have no excuse. I came to ask for your forgiveness .... I am a new man and I heavily regret my mischief. I congratulate you on your son, husband and wife and wish you all the best for your birthday.
I was listening to him and all he did to me passed in the flash of the moment. I looked at my Prince who smiled at me. I couldn't say a word. The tears flew from my eyes one after another. I just nodded my head as a sign I forgive him. He thanked me and he stepped back. The other guy also kneeled before me and said:
- Mrs, Eva, you don't know me. I'm the one who spread rumors and lies about you on social networks trying to damage your reputation. Your ex told me to hire hackers who stole your identity. I'm very sorry for making your life difficult. I learned my lesson and I also ask your forgiveness.
I couldn't handle it any more. I started to cry and cry and cry. My Prince gave Mikey, who also cried because I was crying, to Ivy. She took him outside. My Prince walked with my ex, the other guy and Silvano to the bar. He treated them with drinks and they went. My Prince approached me and took me into his arms. He showered my face with kisses and "love yous". It took me some time to recover from the shock. When I stopped crying, my Ivy returned with Mikey. My Prince took him into his arms while my Ivy fixed my make up. Anyway, the evening was perfect and the surprise my Prince prepared for me was my best birthday gift ever. When he was driving us home I asked him how he succeeded to find them and make them ask forgiveness? I also asked my Ivy if she knew about it. She said she had no idea what was my Prince doing when said to her: "I'll be back soon." My Prince told me:
- First of all, Princess, I didn't force them to come and apologize. He and his friend came willingly and freely ....... Let me tell you how it started ......I don't know why, but as your birthday was closing in, I had a feeling I have to find your ex and talk to him. I wanted to ask him to sincerely apologize to you for everything he has done to you. I was willing to let him go without consequences if he decided not to. I contacted Antonio, explained to him my plan and he activated all his connections in the police and in other security agencies. One of the Guys found him and told him that I want to meet with him. Your ex thought it was some kind of trap, that I want to hurt him again and he wasn't willing to meet me. But the Guy convinced him he will be safe. So we met in "neutral" field; a small cafe. When we met I told him that I'm willing to forgive him all he has done to you if he apologize to you. I wasn't rude, but I had to remind him that if he doesn't do it, I won't hurt him now, but if I see him again, he will end up in the hospital again. I offered him a truce if he apologize to you. He thought about it for few moments and then he told me how much he loved you although he treated you unfairly. He was very upset and angry when you broke up with him and he went mad. He did all in his power to hurt you. He knew he was doing wrong but he couldn't stop. I told him about your change and new life and that you gave a birth to our son and that I will heavily hurt anyone who will try to harm my family. He congratulated me. Anyway, we had good talk and he said that he is tired of living in fear when will I catch him and what will I do to him. He was willing to ask your forgiveness and leave the past in the past. He also asked the "amnesty" for his friend. I promised he won't be harmed either. When he asked me when I want him to do it, I thought a little and I said that your birthday would be the best occasion. We arrange everything with Silvano and, as you can see, your ex and his friend kept their word and I will keep mine.
I can't tell you how much my Prince thrilled me and amazed me with this act. I couldn't stop crying. I felt enormous love for him. As soon we arrived home, I asked my Ivy to take care for Mikey and I led my Prince straight to bedroom and made very passionate love with him. Again, do you see now why my Ivy and I love him so much?! My Prince isn't perfect in many things, but he is surely perfect in love.
