We thought that our life will radically change now since we have a baby; that we won’t have enough time for each other and the things we like to do. We were wrong. I have only one extra “duty” that no one else can do: breastfeeding little one. Everyone else participating in changing his diapers, bathing him and playing with him except dads. My dad argued:

- Eva, I love my grandson but I will not change his diapers. I didn’t change yours and will not change his! That’s mother’s job.

Dad Boss tried, but he couldn’t stand the smell, so he gave up. My Prince “showed” them both that he is not “typical” man. Of course that he didn’t like the smell of baby’s poop either and he “phewed” several times, but he endure it and did a good job. We were very proud at him. My mom and mom Boss are with us every day and almost all day and night taking care for little one so we would have time for ourselves. As for my Prince, he removed web camera from bathroom and placed it in the children room so he can always see our son. My Ivy told me that he always kissed the screen after zooming little one and seeing him sleeping. Beside that he often gets up from the bed during the night just to kiss him and tell him he loves him and when nobody can make baby stop crying, he lays on the back on the bed in children room, put little one on his chest facing him down and while gently kissing and cuddling the top of his head he taps his tushy with other hand. Little one stops crying in a second. We all took pictures of them being very melted. It amazing how much he loves our son. My Ivy and I tried to do the same, but little one didn’t like it. It is something he “inherited" from his father. We saw pictures of his dad doing the same with his daughter and son and kids just loved it. My dad says he exaggerates and that he will spoil him. Ivy and I, our moms and dad Boss thinks opposite.

While we waited for our folks to come for morning coffee in Tuesday morning, he placed my Ivy in his lap and said:

- Honey, I was thinking a lot and I have to ask you: what would you say if I will ask you to take a break from job and stay at home with Princess and our son?

Ivy (shocked, worried and confused): Why???

Prince: Honey, summer is at hand and *little one (*Mikey in further text in diaries because it’s what was his father’s nick name) will need a lot of fresh air and walk with his mom ……. Princess would need to go to park or to downtown and they will need someone who will watch on them and to protect them ….

Ivy: Eva has her bodyguard.

Prince: She does, but honey …. (sighing) ….. Let’s imagine that mom boss and she goes to down town with Mikey. Don’t you think they will be more comfortable to talk about private things with you around? You are part of this family and he isn’t … Honey, please, hear me out …. First, we are working on the baby girl, right? Being with Eva and learning about motherhood from first hand will prepare yourself to be a mother. Second, Eva needs you by her side more than I need you at the work. You’re Mikey’s second mom and it will be of great help to her if you can help her whenever she needs help. It will develop your mother senses. And last, honey, I do not trust anyone as I trust you when it comes to Eva’s and Mikey’s protection. You are the best, my love ….. Honey, I can’t make you do it and I don’t want to. It’s your decision. I’m just proposing what I think is best for all of us. When you will be pregnant I will rehire your bodyguard.

My Ivy sobbed heavily on his shoulder. She doesn’t mind being with me and Mikey, but it hurt her she would be less with him. I felt very sorry for her. Although we would have a help from our parents, it isn’t the same if she, as Mikey’s second mother will be with us as our protector, I’m telling you the truth: she is equally dangerous as my Prince. She stood up from his lap and sobbingly went to the balcony. My Prince and I knew we need to let her work it out. He was sad seeing her crying and he sighed deeply. I sat in his lap and I kissed him saying that all will be fine. Not long afterwards, Ivy returned having swollen eyes from crying. She sat in his lap, wrapped her arms around his neck and after deep kissing him she said:

- You’ve right, my love. Princess and Mikey needs me more …. (smilingly) –since you mentioned …. time to work on our daughter ….

She kissed me and led my Prince to the bedroom to “work” on having a daughter. She will stop working for the Hotel in Monday. She will not receive salary until she goes to maternity leave, but my Prince earns good money and I’m on paid maternity leave so we won’t be in financial crises.

Now, as I said in previous diary: we were very busy. We had guests, social worker. domiciliary nurse and making documentation for Mikey (birth certificate, citizenship certificate and similar). Everyone wanted to hold Mikey, kiss him and prattle to him. Of curse, they talked to me too but Mikey was the star. My Prince collected all invoices from maternity doctor who kept my pregnancy and my baby birth in Slovenia and tests performed on him. Seeing the total sum he couldn’t send it to Mister “XXX”. It was several dozens of thousands of Euros. Dad Boss had to do it and he immediately got response that the money will be transferred on his bank account.

Working week was very good with only one incident which my Prince solved efficiently and quickly as always. But before I tell you about it let me say who became my Ivy’s replacement in the Hotel. Before he met with e.b. my Prince talked to Antonio and my b.g. about his idea. They both agreed and accept it. When he met with e.b., he asked them if they agree to hire my bodyguard instead of Ivy as part time Prince’s assistant. He will not be e.b. member. That position is still reserved for my Ivy, but he will help my Prince in obtaining his duties, watch his back and restrain wild females if needed. He will have lower salary than my Ivy. E.b. accepted his proposal.

Now, about the incident on the work.

Reading Lidija’s report about new groups of season workers, the progress and status of the ones we already employed he noticed that one of them resigned because his colleague who mocked him all the time because of his speech defect. Everyone laughed at him and he couldn’t stand the pressure any more. My Prince asked Lidija if she investigate it. When she said she didn’t, he was angry at her for this was very important issue and because mocker and the others broke Hotel rules and she did nothing. He didn’t yell at her for he doesn’t yell at our workers but he “washed” her good and he took 20% off of her next wage saying: “Rules exist for everyone. No exception.” Then he took her and Ivy and went to chief of mocked worker and asked him about the problem. On Prince’s question did he know about mocking, he replied he did and he warned the mocker but as soon he turned his back, that guy continued. He was supported by others. My Prince told him that according to the rules and regulations, he should report the mocker for disobedience. Since he didn’t do it, he punished him with 20% off of his wage for this month. Then they went to the mocker. When he approached to him he looked at him straight to his eyes and said:

- Sooo, you think you are better then others?! You know, when I look at your face I think you like to suck horses’ dicks. How else you would have big mouth?!

The guy was in shock. My Prince asked him:

- What is it? Why don’t you laugh? You like to mock others, but when you are mocked you don’t like it!  … (to all workers) - Listen to me ….. You all are punished with 20% off of your wage for encouraging this horse cock sucker to mock your colleague ….. You know the rules and you all broke it. We will ask him to return and if he returns I will cover his ticket from your pockets and if he doesn’t, I’m reducing your wage for 15% until summer season is over. I’m warning you: if you ever mock him again or anyone else, I swear, your days in this Hotel are over and you will not get recommendation for another job from us. Take it or leave it! Whoever doesn’t like these rules may resign right now!

Nobody resigned and the mocker said he is sorry and he apologized. Lidija also apologized to my Prince saying that she made mistake. My Prince loves Lidija very much but he warned her too: if she makes same mistake again he will punish her with 30% off of her wage. He reminded her that in the cases she doesn’t know what to do, she should ask him. Then he told her to contact former worker and ask him to return promising him fair treatment and compensation for humiliation. Lidija did it and the guy returned to the work. I was very proud at my Prince. He showed again that he won’t let disorder and disrespect in the Hotel. He is strict but just and fair. Believe me, that’s the only way you can deal with our people if you want order and discipline.

My Prince took a day off for tomorrow. He needs to go to downtown to finish some administrative work. Guess who will go with him? Me and our son. He is sooooo proud and can’t wait to “show” his little one to everyone.  Have a nice weekend LL.
