Shades of the Reach(1/)

 

I was told to wait in my mother's Riften house, apparently Gauis Magnus really angered the Jarl of Riften and people looked him like a monster, still this waiting making me nervous since i have no idea what he want from he and what he gonna intend to do with me. What did I got myself into..

In the stressful waiting, the Imperial battlemage show his face and come to the house..

He walked towards me, quite slowly, then the hole thing began.

Gauis: I ask your forgiveness, I got a few matters to deal with it in the city, but now I am here.

Gwynolda: May I ask what bussiness you have with me? 

Gauis: You have quite an certain abilities wich took my interest from what I heard of you..

Gwynolda: My certain abilities you mean my body or beauty?

Gauis: I meant your latent magical potential, your mother talked the incident where you almost killed her, I also heard the Ognar incident in Markarth, quite a feat maddening an entire nordic house. Its no secret I seek out the ones with potential to became something great, your mother sold out you like a vermin for a few coins to safe her noble house, great mother I can say..

Gwynolda: I am innocent in the Ognar incident, I have no involvement there, and with the one with my mother was accident! Why she did do something? Where is she!! I want see her and comfront her!

Gauis: Please spare of me these ramblings, I not here to judge, and your mother..

Gauis: Instead reconcile with your and her pathetic attempt of parenthood, she decided to took a rather unfavorable thing, she drank a blood of an ancient vampire, made her "immortal" and left..

These words angered me, I don't think I ever was this pissed off in my life, what my mother did is just I cannot find words, I never forgive this and nor will the Divines too, such act can1t be leave without a justice...

 

Gwynolda: What did she do!!? Unacceptable, heretical how dared she think even become a blood starved beast! This cannot go unpunished, I personally go and hunt her down..

Gauis: You have no chance against her in your current state, blood of ancient vampire is from a mighty one, a fairly unexpected event and mere betrayal of my efforts legalising your status and pardoning your "crimes" .. Of course she is no opponent to me, mild annoyance at worst, now then back...

Gwynolda: But?!! How could you let her walk freely!?

Gauis: I am the imperial battlemage of the Empire, I have no luxury to hunt down and deal unimportant inferior creatures like vampires, I have way too many projects and attends to do limiting my time,and consequences would rather concerning if I spend my time on other things then my duties outside of the Legion and Council.. otherhand you can reach her anytime, you have nothing lose..

Gwynolda: How?

Gauis: Expose her vampirism weakness and destroy her, fairly simple taks.. but you need some moderate arcane magic and power to even stand a chance against her..

Gwynolda: Great my mother on loose and I can't even comfront her or stop her, because I lack of power, how much bloodshed you have on your hands?!

Then he apparently started offering me tools to deal with her..

 

Gauis I can give the power you need to face her, of course not freely...

Gwynolda: Great really more unfavorable bargains, what do you want for it?

Gauis: After my bussiness is done, I personally go to markarth do deal with the Witch Queen of the Reach, is the name sound familiar?

Gwynolda: Not really, never heard of her...

Gauis: I want conclude this problem favorable for the Empire, but I am not aware entirely how the things is on the Reach, for the power I offer you will became a Iudex under me and help me deal with her, and aside of the monetary gains, your reward will be the aracane magic what can help against your vampiric mother, I think it is proper deal.

He coerced me a rather questionable deal, great power for mere assistance, I'm sure I gonna regret this and there is a tricky catch here, he doesn't seem honest time. 

 

Gwynolda: I expected fair worse deal, but fine I accept your deal, I have no other choice

Gauis: Excelent decision, I can see the doubts in your eye, but do not worry I'm not a filth daedra, I keep my words..

Gauis(This worked far better than expected, Eliza's unexpected betrayal been punished by mere switch of bloodlines and her daughter is potentially can be great asset to the Empire, all the effort to make her a heir for nothing, this took me my time and I will get something useful from it)

Gauis(Eliza had no more use in anyway, but as "vampire" she prove a fair challenge to see Gwynolda can handle my knowledge, Witch Queen gonna serve an useful chance to increase the imperial power in the Reach and see Gwynolda how handles authory of Iudex, hmm she has an pathetic enchantment on it.. bloking her memories)

 

Gauis: Allow me to remove that minor enchantment lingering on you..

He casted a spell saying remove some enchantment on me, things became dizzy, visions appeared, things I do not recall..

 

Gwynolda: Huh? Whats happening?..

And I find myself in the images of a forsworn camp after it..

That first picture with her sitting on the chair - looks like brain surgery gone bad.

The next picture with her looking straight into "the camera" - excellent shot.

And the final one with her behind - now that's what I call a cute butt.

I haven't really fond the right expression, so ended up this one, I wanted show she is very stressed and nervous, I guess ended up derpy.

 

First person shoots proved work well after the previous entry, so I stick with them :D .

 

Yeah, Gwynolda has best ass amoungs my chars.

Nice entry ! Quite a significant advance in the story, with a kind of "pact with the devil" and a flashback intertwined with politics, family and ideological matters. It's a bit static however, and some of the poses do look quite rigid (maybe not made for armored posing ?) ; but it's always a pleasure to see Gwynolda's ass hear about Gwynolda's tribulations. Awaiting for what's next ! :D

Yeah I planned this a bit text heavy, dialogue entry to move on the flashbacks, sadly Gauis sucks horse dong in posing, he is big pain in the ass.

 

Overall it is big plot centric entry.

 

Next part of the chapter will be much less static.

 

Yeah I tried that, but still put back that time the entry.

I kind of thought the same, tbh. I think it has to do with the angle of the eyes, but I'm not sure... for some reason she looks a bit cross eyed.

 

Still nice entry, glad you're back to making skyrim stories again.

I didn't find any expression wich suit, and this was apparently wasn't good choice then.

Gauis is becoming more and more intriguing as a character. Really looking forward to seeing what he (or possibly 'she', that mask and armor don't give away much ?) has planned.

Also while Gwynolda does look a bit cross-eyed on that first screenshot, I personally find it kind of cute and fitting. She is both nervous and bewildered by her situation and her expression just screams " What on Nirn am I doing here ? ?"   Great job altogether!  ?

Well Gauis is he, he is old man in that armour and his plans are big part of the coming act 5 and remains of act 4.

 

He just starting became more important of the plot.
