About the Chronicles of Mereth , the blog has undergone an extended period of silence lately. Hopefully, there is plenty of things which are already partly made and so it should become more regularly lively :

• Two more episodes of Endeavors of the Prince (I had plenty of ideas, and chose to divide it in three small chapters rather than two extra-large ones ^^).
• Quite a lot of new blogs to be featured in the Small Library
• And afterwards, we'll resume the chronicles main storyline with the sixth chapter of Mourning white.

Let's have a thought for our croatians, and wish them a peaceful and swift recovery.

"Evil people don't like cookies" - the 'detect evil' spells had it wrong all these years. They should've simply fed villains cookies to find out whether they had ill intend! ? This episode was absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for making it!  Now I really want to know how the story ends. ?

It seems the main story is a bit more popular than the cross-overs/paperbacks indeed. I guess people do like a bit of seriousness from time to time as well.

Anyway, now that I'm at it, I'll finish the crossover and update the library a couple of time. Then the main dish should return.

Now that you say it, I figure I never saw an uber bad guy eating cookies with her friends. Maybe my associate has a point.... ?

What's even more funny is that offering cookies is a classic for Malicia. And so when I read your aunt spider giving tea and cookies to Kiki and V, you can imagine it made me smile.

I knew you liked her chronicle 'cause of that, even found a bit of her "distortions" in Cassidey's reports once. I'm glad the next installment does not disappoint. As for Malicia's tales, it's as Jorn says :

Yup, took me long enough. Went by such a rush to publish the first part in time for Prince's birthday, that I became lazy for a whole month afterwards. Ant then the screenarchery took my wayy more time than I thought. But it's all in the box now !

Well that game seems to have a strong visual identity to say the least. Can't say about the 2D-like gameplay, but ambiance is there. ?

Great to so you continuing your blog, I was a bit worried a couple of weeks ago, when I realized your last entry was almost half a year ago.

But your plans for the future do sound very good.

I do love the muted ENB in your stories, and how certain things really pop in comparison. like the "unicorn" and of course, her awesome red hair.

The effects were well placed and executed, the mask was really well done, and even though its such a small thing, I love the horse brush.

It shows an extra level of thought and care that sets the story apart IMHO.

Gotta say my favorite was the sex thought bubbles in the style of public signs, that was brilliant, and as a dude, It's like so spot on to what we're always thinking=)

And the icing on the cake was the carrot topknot!

He finally made it to Winterhold.  Let's see if his hard work gets rewarded!  Also, loved the Hagraven mask scene.  Prince look liked he was about to pop a blood vessel!  ?  But I'm curious about something... whats the dominant pizza brand in Winterhold?

I had fun tweaking Stranger's expression and angles of view quite a lot (I must say he has quite the face for thats ^^), glad you noticed. And with Malicia just taunting him even more, the "near losing it" effect was the one I wanted to create. ^^

Well the blog lifespan is far from over as you can see, and I usually try to finish what I do start. However, I did realize I do enjoy creating stories, and that Zenimax is unlikely to let us share our work another way than as fanfictions. So I'm considering trying myself at other styles in the future, but that future is very far away from now. And that won't prevent me from enjoying the awesomeness of the stories people do share here. ?

Well, those are petty photoshops in comparison to what you demonstrated us lately, but I see the eye of the expert does appreciate details like that.

I'm less satisfied with the tear I added on Stranger, most tutorials do use sophisticated layer styles that my prehistoric Photoshop Elements (first version) do not feature. So I tried to approximated the thing but; it's not as realistic as I'd have wanted it to be.

As for the ENB (Rudy's), I did tweak it so it'll be as realistic and sober as possible ; that way I can get extremely dark environments (where you can't see without a torch, a spell or nightvision) while it doesn't destroy whites with heavy ENB bloom. I installed one under the advice of some of you, and I'm satisfied to screenshoot as much as to play with it.

Yeah, Caramel isn't as peculiar as Spy's excellent Bat, but I still wanted to give him some personality ; and the carrot topknot was one occasion to do so. ^^

That sounds very interesting, did you reach out to Bethesda about stories or novels or so? Looking forward to here more about whatever you have planned for us.

Some characters really do lend themselves super well to expressiveness, don't they? Wish i could figure out exactly what makes some so easy to convey emotion with and some a struggle. Cass is the easiest ever, makes me look like I know what I'm doing ?

I am considering to do so. My thoughts are that we fan storytellers have progressively improved, and that some of us are reaching near professional level. I've been considering contacting Bethesda or Zenimax to ask them if they would allow us to commercialize our work. The idea is getting somewhere more than just LL.

The thing is, the public for adult publications is quite smaller than the usual one, ; and I don't think the demand is increasing for paper comics . At the other end, manga formats tend to develop, and web comics as well. But I am not sure Bethesda would allow it. And if they don't, the only viable ways for someone wanting to publish would be starting from scratch. Which means drawing a comic, or writing a book.

I've been thinking about all those options lately ; but so far hesitated to go in one direction or another. I guess asking wouldn't hurt though.

She's an expressive one indeed. But in the end I think the important thing is knowing what expression you want, and how the expression does composes itself/modifies the face. That may be the reason why Cass is easy for you, because as your main character, you visualize exactly what you want quite easily.
